Got a t shirt for my son for $1. I mean you can't beat the prices. They had name brand stuff, Aeropostale, Dolce and Gabana, Levi's and others. Shoes, purses, hats, clothing and home decor including Christmas trees and ornaments all at great prices. Nice furniture too. I could not find anything in my size that I wanted but I'm sure I will in the future. They are on Facebook so you can look them up there.

We were uncertain (har!har!) what we'd find there but treasures were found by all. The most surprising and touching treasures for me were: 1. Making the acquaintance of (2) 3-week-old Nigerian dwarf goat/kid pets and their new "mama". It was love at first cuddle!! 2. Homemade strawberry fig preserves which I CANNOT wait to smother on some toast and ENJOY! The other couple with us found a great vintage-style wall hanging for their media room and some other Texan thingamajigs. Whether looking for something large, small, knicky, or knacky, or a bit dohicky - you could find some treasures here and if not - perhaps leave with some pleasant memories or having had a nice chat with one of the local booth owners.

Items in the store included: vintage toys, books, home items like furniture, dishes, housewares, quilts ... this store has EVERYTHING. Visiting the Armory Flea Market is worthwhile. The location probably has 25-35 vendors, this store is by no means a mess but be prepared to be observant and bend down to see every shelf. This is not a giant mall, but we found multiple items we have been searching for here this afternoon! Do not let the green shipping containers at the front scare you off, keep walking it is worth it to explore. They only take cash so come prepared.

We came to browse on a Sunday and parked in the first lot for just $5.00 - super easy. I was pleasantly surprised by how much of the market was under cover or even indoors (which is a huge plus in July in Texas!). There's so much to see. We walked around for about 3 hours, taking a nice break inside the convention building where there's a restaurant, tables, and air conditioning - perfect for cooling off. Even though we didn't come looking for anything specific, we still ended up leaving with a few great finds. There's truly something for everyone here. There's also a large outdoor section, but the heat was a bit much this time - we'll definitely check that part out next time when it's cooler. I appreciated the number of food and drink vendors, plus plenty of bathrooms along the way. Overall, a fun and worthwhile visit!
