Every time we have wondered into Lowe's, we've been able to find what we needed. Tonight I was in the store to make a return and pick up an order. Yes, it took a bit of time, but I was acknowledged quickly, told they would help me as soon as they could. Eventually a manager came over to help with the backup. That shows great leadership when the manager is willing to jump in and help wherever. Keep up the good work. read more

I would give zero stars but it's not an option. Let me tell you all how they tried to scam me, and 3 mos later, I am still fighting with them. It's a lengthy story, so buckle up! And if you use them for home improvement or airbnb stuff like I tried to, PAY ATTENTION. I went onto their website and ordered a new hot water heater and decided to use them for installation. So when you do this, they have a rep call you, gather some info, take card info, tell you what THEY recommend, etc. so they convinced me to buy a water heater (the AO Smith 500) which costs approx $2300. A little pricey, but the gentleman swore by it and I didn't want any additional problems in my Airbnb so I agreed. Spoke w/him 7/2/24, scheduled install for 7/3 (same day I had guests checking in) they were supposed to arrive at 3pm, didn't show up until 7. They installed, and left. 6am PST (I'm on west coast, Airbnb is in Florida) I get a msg from the guests saying they have no hot water. It's 4th of July! I call, and ask them to come back out, they tell me they don't work on holidays. I apologize to guests, promise to have it fixed 1st thing Friday morning. Call them as soon as they open, they say they can't come til 3. Inconvenient, but fine, I agree. They don't show up until almost 7 (again!) the guy is there for 5mins and tells me he can't fix it because they broke it upon install and he has no tools to fix it. So I have to wait and call back Saturday morning. We are now on day 3 of my guests having no hot water. I call, and there has been no notes, no communication no one scheduled to come back out (I'm now being told I have to contact this 3rd party company because, unbeknownst to me, Lowe's doesn't have ppl they send out, they hire companies and send them) I speak to their supervisor who is rude and definitely NOT interested in fixing a problem his workers created. I ask for a new heater and tell him what the worker told me, but they refuse and tell me they have to buy parts. As a consumer who wants a heater that was broken upon install and now has to get aftermarket parts?! NOT what I paid for. I get Lowe's back involved, get assigned to a woman named Ashley Cruz. At this point my guests are pissed and demanding a $500 refund for their stay. I tell Ashley and she apologizes and says they will reimburse me the $500 because of all the issues this has caused. At this point, I am BEGGING them to just replace it, and no one will. They tell me I have to call the manufacturer about replacement. I call,give him the serial number on the unit he tells me it doesn't match. His exact words are, "this serial number belongs to a Home Depot unit. They are the only ppl that sell this particular unit " so I call Ashley back and tell her they can't find the unit. She insists that there has to be other numbers on there and that I gave him the wrong numbers. So I send her pics of the entire unit w/serial numbers. We then call him again on conference call and he tells her the same thing. We get "disconnected " and I can't reach her til the following Wednesday when they say they are going to send ANOTHER person out to repair the unit. He's there for an hr or two before he calls and says they're going to replace the unit. They finally put in a new heater and was working fine, but two problems still exist. A)They still haven't reimburse me the money Ashley said they're would b) I'm still bothered by what the manufacturer said. So I ask Ashley about the money AGAIN and she says they denied my claim. But they also want to collect for the heater (the card I gave them to put on file got hacked during the decals so the card got canceled and they could no longer charge it) so I tell them to discount heater or reimburse $500, but all I get is crickets. And I'm still unsettled by what the manufacturer said. So I start going back and looking/researching. THESE PPL TRIED TO CHARGE ME $2300 for a hot water heater and install a completely different and cheaper unit!! And thought I wouldn't know because I'm out of state! Please see pics I attached below. So not only did they not honor what they said about the money, they were seriously trying to get over on me. Now that I know, no one will talk to me except to ask me to pay the balance! Seriously check out the pics! These are two COMPLETELY different units! I ordered the one on the right, they installed the one on the left (which, upon research was no more than $1000) I only got the one I actually ordered after the call w/the manufacturer! All purchases have been fantastic, I even see these folks catering to the Moron Class that purchases a Generator on their Lowes Card and then if they didn't need it during the Storm take it back for credit. I would like to shoot these leaches on society but Lowes is always customer orientated and takes the Generators back with a smile. Faucet was broken, leaking, couldn't return it cause the box was already in the garbage. Ordered for 2000$ , order was supposed to be delivered november 13th, the evening before i got an e-mail, not even a call, that delivery would be delayed for 1 week. I had no balance on my credit card I made a purchase for one item at Lower Haines city on 08/26/2022 using the self check out machine, total $6.40 three days later I notice there was a total on Capital One account for $12.40 I contact Capital because I did not see a hold for another $6.40 by Lowes but they could not figure where the extra $6.40 went. I contact Lowes and they can't give an account for my mysterious missing $6.40 . Now I am out $6.40 Everyone need to check the card balance when they shop at this location. read more

In store pick-up and the customer service counter is the worst. This is my second time ordering online and picking up in the store. The first time, I had to wait over 30 minutes for them to find it! The second time, they couldn't find my order and told me to come back the next day! I spoke with Assist Manager Michael, who went in back to look for my item. Then I saw him in the store 30 minutes later, when he saw me, he avoided eye contact and darted down an aisle. This store has serious management issues. I was in this store last week, during the rapid spread of the Omicron variant, and almost every employee in it was not wearing a mask correctly. The masks were NOT covering noses and mouths - some were draped over their chins, most left the nose exposed. One of the cashiers was sweating and having trouble breathing, indicating he might have been sick. His mask was on his chin. I will not be going back to that store and I hope Lowe's Corporation has a way to ensure employee cooperation on important issues like this. read more

For anyone else, be aware! months been going into this store looking for a human (other than return desk) for help with electrical, cabinets, tools, fans that were up on TOP shelves! Impossible! I would walk to front where usually a woman is standing and ask for a manager. LOL most times; if they acknowledged I was standing in front of them, "I don't know where one is, but there s/b a few out on the floor"! I ask can u call one? I've always been a fan of Home Depot, but in Aug. I moved to Haines City. There is a Lowe's less than 2 miles from my new house so I thought it was a good idea to give it a try, specially since Home Depot is over 20 mins away. BIG MISTAKE! HUUUUGE! On Nov 18 I went to Lowe's to purchase blinds for my whole house. In the blinds department the person in charge was Sheron, who was professional. I gave her the measurements, she gave me the price and recommended that I let the Lowe's team take the measurements and do the installation to make sure that everything was perfect. SPOILER ALERT: things have been FAR from perfect. I agreed, payed, and waited for the provider to call. Nobody called so I called. We agreed for Nov 21. Nobody arrived or called. I went to the store to complain, the lady at the store called and they told her that the tech forgot/lost my order and promised to call me the next morning to reschedule. Again no one called, I called and they told me that they are moving some appointments and they will call me back. Once again, no one called me and I had to call them. That's when they told me I would be scheduled for Nov 24. Once again, no one showed up. Furious, I went to the store and asked to talk to a manager. The person I spoke to (who claimed to be the manager) refunded me for the measurements and told me that they would do it for free and that on Monday they would call me to confirm the appointment. Surprise, Monday came and no one called so I went to the store again and this time I spoke with the real manager (Nick). He told me that the person that refunded me the money wasn't a manager and that he had canceled my order. So Nick updated my order and promised me that the installer would call me. Finally the manager of the installation company called me and we agreed for the appointment on Nov 28. He did the job himself, well and fast. He faxed Lowe's the info and if I went and placed the order without problem. Things were looking BUT THEN the person that took the order told me that the delivery date to the store will be Dec 26. It was a long wait but considering that it was the holiday season, I was ok with it. On Dec 10 they called to tell me that my blinds would be delivered Dec 18. But on Dec 17 they called to tell me that they had made a mistake and that it wouldn't be delivered until Jan 10. This seemed like a ridiculous time to wait for blinds but I had no option, so I waited. Who doesn't want to wait 1.5 months for a service they've payed for. On Jan 12 (2 months after making the horrible decision of going to Lowe's) they called me to tell me that I could stop by the store and pick them up. I went. Sheron brought the blinds. I pointed out that I ordered 5 different blinds and that I was only receiving 4. She assured me the order was complete and that the larger box contained 2. I called the installer and we scheduled the installation for Jan 18. The tech arrived and as soon he checked the order he told me that it was missing one blind (Shocking, I know!)I told him what Sheron had told me and he told me that they never put two in one box. Still, he started the installation and opened all 4 boxes and of course I was missing the verticals blinds. He called the store and they told him that they couldn't find any and that they would have to place a new order. He continued with the installation only to find out that one blind was the wrong size. Instead of 51" they order 5'7" ( I guess that's the kind of perfection Sheron was talking about when she recommended I let the professionals do it). At that moment the store called him telling him that they had found some vertical blinds and that he could go pick them up. He went, picked them up and placed an order for the blinds that they had measured wrong. The next day, I went to the store and and talked to the manager and asked when the correct blinds would be ready. He said he would know by Jan 22 and that he would give me a call. A week later and guess what? No call! I decided to call customer service and spoke to a woman who clearly could not care any less. After being placed on hold forever, she got back on the line said that the blinds would be ready on February 14th and hung up before I could even get a word in. Today Sheron called and told me that my blinds will be in store on Feb.2. Hours later she called to tell me that the blinds had arrived and that the installers should be calling tomorrow to schedule the installation. I don't understand how my blind could be days away one moment and in the store the next, but that's just how on top of things they are at Lowe's. At this point, I'm not holding my breath. Best case scenario, someone actually calls me back and shows up to install the blinds, in which case I will have spent over 2 months and countless headaches over blinds. Or most likely, no one calls. MY ADVICE: Don't shop here. Stay away from Lowe's beyond mediocre service. read more

I pretty much spend my life at Lowe's since I bought my house. This is one if the better ones, anytime I've had an issue they are helpful and resolve it easily. The managers are friendly. Their outdoor selection is always great and organized. Lots of plants to choose from. I do with the had better rock choices but I know you can only have so much. read more

Lady forgot to put all my bags in my cart, didn't realize until I got home (my fault) so when I notice I give them a call letting them know I left a bag there, gave them a description of the items in bag and what isle the receipt said I was on. They say they see no bag, and that I can come in and have management check cameras. I get there and they ask the lady and tell me she said she handed me my things, not even checking camera. I just moved into my new house 6 weeks ago. I feel like I am here ALL the time. There is so much to do for a new house it is crazy. But, I wish I had somewhere else to go. This Lowe's is 10 minutes from my new house. The nearest Home Depot is 30 minutes in any direction, so most of the time if I need something, especially if I need it quickly I am coming here. The selection here is okay, but not outstanding. I was able to find new door handles, but they only had 12 and I needed 14, so I had to wait for 20 minutes up front while someone in back went and found 2 more door handles. I needed tile for the new bathroom and I couldn't find any I liked here so I went to Home Depot. I needed to glass in my shower, but it was an odd size so they had to refer me to another company who never returned my calls and so we found an independent contractor in Clermont. I bought my husband a grill here and I was told I got a free exchange of gas with my grill purchase, but until that moment I didn't have a grill, so I didn't have gas to exchange. This meant that I got nothing and had to pay $48 for the propane tank. I asked if I could show my receipt for my new grill when we needed to exchange our first tank and was told no. I bought a shower head and it didn't fit with the goose neck pipe that was coming out of my wall and when I went to look for a new shower head the lady basically told me that my dad and husband were idiots who should have removed the goose neck and that it was an easy job that a child could do. Finally, I went to pick up some mulch that was on special 5 for $10. I bought it and told the lady at the register that I needed help loading it. She called for someone. I pulled up my car to the mulch and nothing. I told another salesperson I needed help. Nothing. So I waited and waited. I waited for over 15 minutes and when I am walking back into the store to ask for my money back someone finally comes to help me. It is so frustrating trying to find anyone at this place to answer a question and then when you do find someone it in no way means they know what they are talking about. Yesterday, I drove the 30 minutes to Home Depot. I found exactly what I was looking for, no fuss, no muss. I may be doing this more often. read more

Do not get your fence installed by lowes. They could care less about making sure your needs are accommodated. This is NOT free, we pay lots of money and still get treated like we don't matter. Sales agent Ann Allison does not help and is wrost to communicate with and brushes off lightly the issues we have been dealing with.. I been waiting 9 months to get our fence installed and then when there ready to install, we learn they brought the wrong fence material for the back. So here we have an un finished fence that could take another 8 to 12 weeks to recieve. Never will I reccommed them not in a million years. They sub contract the work anyway, it's really disappointing and disrespectful. read more

Four fricken times they said a microwave was in, 3 times for pick up. Three times I called ahead, days after they said they would call me by. Said it was there and ready for pick up. Bam, show up, nope. Not there. Sold it to some one else 3 times. Forth time, they are going to deliver it to my house. Sunday comes, I get the call, we'll it doesn't seem to be here for delivery. The store has masks indicating that they require face masks to be worn. I was quite uncomfortable in this store because there were many customers who were NOT following this, and the employees did nothing at all to enforce the policy. I will not be back. I don't give business to stores that disregard the safety of their customers and employees. There is still a pandemic going on. I rate this Lowe's branch a 4/5 because most of the times the staff are very helpful, there are instances though that there' so few staff working that when you need help everyone is busy. There are also instances where we were not helped by a staff that is around. However around 90% of the time we do our shopping here, we have a pleasant experience. We shop here 1x a week. With regards to merchandise, there pretty stock of everything you'll ever need for home improvement. read more

If you ask them something either they dont know or they give you a bad attitude. My daughter was looking at the christmas decoration she grabbed one to hear the music and a guy named steve pushed her and said excuse me.. And took the decor off her hand. I told him that if they dont want people touching it They should put a sign. And he replied " well most people just looks at it and buy it, there is no reason to touch it like you did" i found that vert rude.. We are new to the area and being new home owners have come to lowe's several times over the past two months. Today we were purchasing a lawnmower and some other items. We we're also going in to open a credit card and take advantage of their deal for opening one right now. If you walk into the store you will see many signs offering 20% off today for opening a credit card. We got into the customer service line and waited about 10 minutes for Jessica the associate on duty to call us over. The first thing she said to us was "the line is over there" she pointed to everyone behind us who had gotten there after us. I kindly told her I was next and have been waiting. We proceeded to ask to open a credit card and then make our purchase. We had to find the correct paperwork on the counter by ourselves because she did not know what disclosures were for credit cards. She then put our address wrong and we had to write it down for her. Finally when the process to apply for the credit card was complete we proceeded to our purchase. Jessica refused to honor the 20% off today purchase until we asked if she could call someone else to verify. The customer service manager Alyssa was there and did nothing with the issues we we're experiencing or Jessica's nasty attitude towards us. Finally we left to the parking lot and while packing our lawnmower we opened it and it was broken! We once again had to go back in and do an exchange. Thankfully a very helpful associate named Mike helped us check the new lawnmower and told us they could price match the refund so we would not lose our savings! Jessica refused to price match and when we asked what our total was she said "I don't know". It truly felt like Jessica had some sort of hatred towards us we could not understand. Thankfully mike came by and was able to fix everything and do Jessica's job for her. Please do yourself a favor and go to Home Depot. Jessica and Alyssa are the most miserable people I have ever met , I am thankful to not know them personally. read more

Hurricane on its way and we are in a state of emergency. No one in town including this store has propane. I find out if I can get my tank refilled at Loves gas station. I take my tank to loves and they tell me they cannot refill it because the date on the tank must be within 10 years. At Lowes I try to buy a new tank and they have none. I asked associate if there would be any way they would let me take one of their exchanges that is in date and swap out mine so I can get it refilled. The clerk tells me that he would gladly do it but I need permission from one of the customer service representative up front of the store. I go in to ask one of the customer service representative's and she instantly says no, no compassion no empathy she Plain o doesn't care. No more money of mine will be spent at lowes, period! I went to the Lowes in Auburndale, the laminate that I bought was impossible to put down, I bought two different brands, one went down extremely easy, it had a spring clip type connection on the ends,and is still [perfect to this day, I could sent you pictures of the other, I put it down and came back a month later and there were seperations all over, I told the manager, he (Gary my man)said oh, yah, he put it down, it's hard to install. I said...I cannot leave this down , he said it he could not help me, as it had been 6 monthes. I said here is the receipts, that were not easy to get from corporate. He said without the receipts he could not help me. When I showed him the envelope with the treasured copys of receipts, he said he couldn't help me, he is useless. He said he couldn't help me because it had been six months. It had been five. He told me he could not be bothered. Thank goodness for the lady in Ashtabula Ohio,her name was Bonnie I believe She was the one that got me the original receipt copys after the Auburndale store repeatedly hung up on me, when I heard what the manager told me,I realized it was the culture of this store, and the people in Auburndale were just following the management instructions . The worst part was the box that I returned that was defective.It had a stipe of yellow (defect in the printing) they did not want to take it back, when I explained the defect, they put it back on the shelf at a minimum discount.(1.00 for the box, when they were all defective. When I saw it back on display I took it back to the service center and said I had returned this box, it is defective.Ironicly I have eight boxes of this crap from 5 years ago, you just changed the name from style solutions to project selections or something similar. They tell you to contact the mfgr. when in reality they know there is no mfgr. on it because it is a contracted product for them By the time you pursue all of this they hope you get tired, yes, I am tired, but now the original project is underway, I did not forget how I was treated. I have found other ways that donot force me to insult myself or to be treated like an also used. read more

Just a bad experience. I needed wiring cut, so I pushed the assistance button in the wiring section. After 2 minutes and no sight of any assistance, and with the automated voice happening more infrequently, I turned the button off and back on. (That immediately starts it back.) Another 2 minutes passes, and no sight of an employee, so I turn the button off and on again. At the 5 minute mark, someone with customer service went live over the intercom, asking for assistance "in the wire cutting section." (I guess they were getting tired of hearing the automated system.) Another minute passes, and Judy arrived. The FIRST thing she says is, did you turn the button off and back on? Don't do that. I said it's been 6 minutes. She said when I turned it off, she thought someone was helping me. I asked her why she would think that if the "assistance in the wire cutting area" kept repeating over the intercom. She said I turned it off. I said yes, but I immediately turned it back on! She said she's worked there for 14 years and knows how it works. I said I was just trying to get help. She said I shouldn't turn it off because she thought I had help. I again asked how she would think I got help since the audio "help in the wire cutting area" prompt KEPT GOING OFF?! I think, other than not understanding how one would think I got help if the recording continued to play, the most frustrating part was that she continued to argue with me for 3-4 minutes while she was cutting the wire. She even started the argument back up two more times, explaining why she was correct. Maybe she did get some super secret text message saying to ignore the voices repeatedly coming through the speakers, but did she really have to argue with me the entire time. All the employees appear to be busy with nothing just so they won't have to help. They work slow. They don't even work. They act like they're busy but really not. I am really wow'd by the great customer service at Lowe's. I bought a grill on my daughters birthday so we could cook out and when we got it home, it didn't work good. The burners would not go above low and the spring in the ignite button kept hanging up. I called Lowe's and told them what happened and without hesitating they said, "That's ok. We'll send a truck to pick that one up and bring you a brand new one." The just left from bringing the new grill and it works perfect!!!
