Ending the contract with them and trying to get them to come get their cans I think I have a better luck with the lottery months later still holding onto the cans and we don't have a contract with them. You get the run around a sales person will call you but never contacts you. If it wasn't illegal, I put it in the middle of the road then they would have to come and get their cans! Canceling service while selling my home was a complete nightmare. I called four weeks in advance to cancel and was told to call back one week before settlement. When I did, I was told the totes would be picked up within three weeks and that I should simply leave them outside. The problem? Settlement was only a week away, and I would no longer own the property. I explained that this put me in an impossible position because leaving the totes outside would: 1. Violate my town's ordinance regarding garbage containers. 2. Leave me responsible for equipment left on a property I no longer owned. The first representative I spoke with was combative and unhelpful, so I asked to speak with a manager. The manager assured me that the totes would absolutely be picked up before Friday's settlement. Friday came and went, and the totes are still there. The new homeowners called me on Sunday because the totes were still sitting on the property. When I called again, the equipment department told me they are specifically trained not to make guarantees and apologized, but said the pickup wouldn't happen until the following Friday. I followed the instructions your company gave me every step of the way, yet I am still left responsible for equipment sitting on a property I no longer own. This is an unacceptable position to put a customer in. read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. Whitetail Trash has some of the worst customer service I've dealt with. Their driver took our paid-for trash cans by mistake, and weeks later we still don't have them back. We've had to keep calling and following up, and they still haven't fixed a problem they created. It's unbelievable that customers are expected to go without trash cans because of their mistake. There has been zero sense of urgency, poor communication, and no accountability. If this is how they treat paying customers, I definitely don't recommend them. read more

My cardboard was flattened and neatly stacked in my recycling bin and I left it on the curb for pick up. The next day, the garbage collectors had careless scattered all the cardboard EVERYWHERE on my lawn and just left it there so most of the bin's contents had not even been picked up. read more

Yes, they are the cheapest. While this is true. You get what you pay for! I called 3x's to politely ask for my cans and to pick up a month worth of garbage. They will push you along and nothing will happen. I will pay Waste Management the extra $33 every 3 months. I got my cans in 2 days and they picked up my garage the same schedule pick up day that week too! Avoid Whitetail/Casella their business is garbage but their company is really Trash! read more

Do not use! By far the worst customer service I've ever experienced. Three different bulk items were never picked up and I had to keep calling back before they were picked up. I had to cancel one of them and pay another company to come remove it and on top of that they still charged me $85 despite telling me they were removing the charges. Recycling Driver does not take all of my aluminum and plastic items. Recently I put 2 small aluminum tables, 3 small plastic trash cans and a plastic dog gate. When I call customer service, they told me that they are bulk items even though they fit in the recycling trash can. I think they just want more money. I am cancelling the lack of service, and going over to Diamond Disposal. I did not want to give a Star Rating, but had to give at least 1 Star. They do not deserve that high. read more

You can tell when it's trash pickup day in our borough because trash and garbage cans are left everywhere. It's disgusting. Since Casella took over Whitetail disposal, there customer service is horrible. Trash is often left in containers, late or delayed pick up of recycling, Bulk pickup when requestest is port as they do not even call you back, on-line chat is often down. I can list even poorer service and lack of response to issues. I had a rabbit hutch small they would not pickup because it is construction materials! What is that about. I went to WM for a few dollars more, and they helped with all aspects and no issues. read more

I sent them a letter on June 3 to both of their addresses to cancel the service. They obviously got the letter because they did not bill me for the upcoming quarter. When I called them on 08/06/2026 to ask when they were coming to get their bins they told me the account is still active and I need to pay. At 10:54pm on 08/06 they sent the bill and they have never emailed their bill late. I reported them to the district attorney office. And I called them on 08/07/2026 and they gave me the run around until I got their rude customer representative who sent the bill to me on 08/06 now decides he wants to cancel the account because nothing more than they went to their office and/or mailbox and say that I requested a cancellation. They increased the price two time back to back in a 6 months period. They are dishonest & terrible customer service. They need to come get their bins from my property'. 07/25/25 AGAIN the recyclable's were not picked up. This happens at least once a month. Always "Overlooked". Average forgotten 25% of the month. Maybe if I leave out 25% of their bill and tell them I overlooked it? I do NOT and would NOT recommend this company. The song and dance they performed at my door to sign up was amazing. After that not so much. As I read several reviews, there is no comment, rebuttal, excuse from the Whitetail. This tells me they don't care about company / customer satisfaction. Terrible customer service. Would just repeat themselves when asked questions, was condescending when I asked about what a "standard bulk item is" (basically, a standard item can fit in your bin) and they nickel and dime at every turn. Whitetail was great. New management is terrible. Charged me $125 for a mattress one week and wanted to charge another $10 for a small arm chair. I had 3 conversations to make sure it wasn't just a guy having a bad day, and got a different person every time- same experience. Will be looking for other options for trash disposal. read more

Only been a customer for a few months but so far very pleased. Pickups have been on schedule and no issues. We switched after many years with another company who raised prices every quarter, shopped around and called to complain, they'd give us a lower more competitive rate and the. The cycle began again. Was told a week ago to put trash on curb for a recovery pickup since they missed 2 pickup days and trash is STILL sitting on the curb. Embarrassing. Every time I called to ask why this is happening I would be told, "looks like they'll be there tomorrow" which was ALWAYS a lie. Would not recommend at all. After soliciting our neighborhood multiple times and showing up at my door, I finally gave this company a chance because they were cheaper than others in the area. Big mistake. They notified me that trash pickup would be delayed a day due to a snowstorm. I confirmed this twice -- once via voicemail and once by calling -- yet they still came on the regular day. As a result, during Thanksgiving week, my trash was overflowing and sitting out for nothing. When I called to fix the issue, they refused to send a truck and even told me they wouldn't pick up extra trash the following week if I wanted a refund for the pickup they missed, despite admitting it was their mistake. This company has terrible customer service personnel. They are rude and extremely incompetent. The people on their routes do not pick up consistently. If you call about a missed pickup they try to blame it on you, do not offer a refund for missed pickups unless you really push for it and tell you you can't have it picked up until the next week. They raise their rates without informing you, they cancel pick-up in the event of a snow storm (and we get nothing) and their prices used to be reasonable but now they are no better than Waste Management. I have been with Whitetail disposal for probably 12 to 14 years between two different residences. Their service overall is very good occasionally but not often they forget a house but if you notify them, they'll be back the next day with the truck I don't check prices regularly, cause I'm quite happy with Whitetail Disposal but when I signed up with Whitetail years ago, they were the cheapest around and I'm paying mid 80s a quarter. I would love to see them get a contract with Lower Nazareth Township so that we can eliminate the other eight or 10 trucks riding around like crazy in the township. read more

Whitetail Disposal is one of a few garbage haulers in our area. The other day we heard a loud explosion that shook the neighborhood. A few neighbors checked their security cameras. It appears that something exploded from beneath the truck. A few weeks prior, a Whitetail truck was seen leaking some sort of fluid (hydraulic fluid?brake fluid?fuel?) from beneath the truck, leaving a trail throughout the neighborhood. A crew came back to the neighborhood later with what looked like a truck of cat litter substance, spreading it on our streets to soak up whatever spilled. This can not be good for the environment. I'm not sure how their trucks can be safe. The trucks speed throughout the neighborhoods and don't stop at stop signs. Our neighborhood streets are narrow without sidewalks. As a business that services residential areas, they need to do better for the areas they serve. read more

Came into the neighborhood sold us on good customer service and did not deliver. Since 1/1/25 they have missed picking up trash and recycle cans. Bulk pick-up is always a problem, you have to schedule in advance and they try to charge for what other companies pick up for free. They delayed pick-up for over a week right after Christmas and they left cardboard recycling on the curb. The requirements for pick up are extremely specific and honestly ridiculous. these guys are my residential trash provider. I am canceling them Monday morning. They are terrible and they just don't seem to care. They rarely pick up all my trash even though I pay more for extra bins. When I call, they tell me that I need to call back at a different time because they can't contact their drivers. The workers seem nice, but unfortunately service is consistently not on time and often delayed and most recently they announced during Christmas not being able to deliver for a week+ past normal weekly pick which is just crazy as this is the busiest week of the year followed by New Years. This rating is specifically for their recycling service / driver. In the past 8 weeks they have missed our recycling can for up to 4 days after they were supposed to pick it up. I have been with them for over 4 years and their service has really started to suck in the last 2 months. Time to change, if you can't service the customers you already have, don't buy more trash companies.
