I have been with Whitetail disposal for probably 12 to 14 years between two different residences. Their service overall is very good occasionally but not often they forget a house but if you notify them, they'll be back the next day with the truck I don't check prices regularly, cause I'm quite happy with Whitetail Disposal but when I signed up with Whitetail years ago, they were the cheapest around and I'm paying mid 80s a quarter. I would love to see them get a contract with Lower Nazareth Township so that we can eliminate the other eight or 10 trucks riding around like crazy in the township. read more

My cardboard was flattened and neatly stacked in my recycling bin and I left it on the curb for pick up. The next day, the garbage collectors had careless scattered all the cardboard EVERYWHERE on my lawn and just left it there so most of the bin's contents had not even been picked up. read more

Yes, they are the cheapest. While this is true. You get what you pay for! I called 3x's to politely ask for my cans and to pick up a month worth of garbage. They will push you along and nothing will happen. I will pay Waste Management the extra $33 every 3 months. Since Casella took over Whitetail disposal, there customer service is horrible. Trash is often left in containers, late or delayed pick up of recycling, Bulk pickup when requestest is port as they do not even call you back, on-line chat is often down. I can list even poorer service and lack of response to issues. I had a rabbit hutch small they would not pickup because it is construction materials! What is that about. I went to WM for a few dollars more, and they helped with all aspects and no issues. read more

Recycling Driver does not take all of my aluminum and plastic items. Recently I put 2 small aluminum tables, 3 small plastic trash cans and a plastic dog gate. When I call customer service, they told me that they are bulk items even though they fit in the recycling trash can. I think they just want more money. I am cancelling the lack of service, and going over to Diamond Disposal. I did not want to give a Star Rating, but had to give at least 1 Star. They do not deserve that high. read more

This company is an absolute joke. Signed up for service a month ago and cans are still not delivered. Was told a week ago to put trash on curb for a recovery pickup since they missed 2 pickup days and trash is STILL sitting on the curb. Embarrassing. Every time I called to ask why this is happening I would be told, "looks like they'll be there tomorrow" which was ALWAYS a lie. I was told 7 different days that the cans would be delivered and they never were. Happily moving business elsewhere because these guys need to be shut down. 07/25/25 AGAIN the recyclable's were not picked up. This happens at least once a month. Always "Overlooked". Average forgotten 25% of the month. Maybe if I leave out 25% of their bill and tell them I overlooked it? I do NOT and would NOT recommend this company. The song and dance they performed at my door to sign up was amazing. After that not so much. As I read several reviews, there is no comment, rebuttal, excuse from the Whitetail. This tells me they don't care about company / customer satisfaction. Terrible customer service. Would just repeat themselves when asked questions, was condescending when I asked about what a "standard bulk item is" (basically, a standard item can fit in your bin) and they nickel and dime at every turn. Whitetail was great. New management is terrible. Charged me $125 for a mattress one week and wanted to charge another $10 for a small arm chair. I had 3 conversations to make sure it wasn't just a guy having a bad day, and got a different person every time- same experience. Will be looking for other options for trash disposal. read more

This company has terrible customer service personnel. They are rude and extremely incompetent. The people on their routes do not pick up consistently. If you call about a missed pickup they try to blame it on you, do not offer a refund for missed pickups unless you really push for it and tell you you can't have it picked up until the next week. They raise their rates without informing you, they cancel pick-up in the event of a snow storm (and we get nothing) and their prices used to be reasonable but now they are no better than Waste Management. We switched after many years with another company who raised prices every quarter, shopped around and called to complain, they'd give us a lower more competitive rate and the. The cycle began again. Would not recommend at all. After soliciting our neighborhood multiple times and showing up at my door, I finally gave this company a chance because they were cheaper than others in the area. Big mistake. They notified me that trash pickup would be delayed a day due to a snowstorm. I confirmed this twice -- once via voicemail and once by calling -- yet they still came on the regular day. As a result, during Thanksgiving week, my trash was overflowing and sitting out for nothing. When I called to fix the issue, they refused to send a truck and even told me they wouldn't pick up extra trash the following week if I wanted a refund for the pickup they missed, despite admitting it was their mistake. I called and cancelled service (go Local!) and the phone rep was disparaging and acted like they could do no wrong----that it was me that had a problem. they promised to pick up there cans within 2 weeks , leave them out where accessible (or pay them a charge !) that was a month ago. Bulk pick-up is always a problem, you have to schedule in advance and they try to charge for what other companies pick up for free. Whitetail Disposal is one of a few garbage haulers in our area. The other day we heard a loud explosion that shook the neighborhood. A few neighbors checked their security cameras. It appears that something exploded from beneath the truck. A few weeks prior, a Whitetail truck was seen leaking some sort of fluid (hydraulic fluid?brake fluid?fuel?) from beneath the truck, leaving a trail throughout the neighborhood. A crew came back to the neighborhood later with what looked like a truck of cat litter substance, spreading it on our streets to soak up whatever spilled. This can not be good for the environment. I'm not sure how their trucks can be safe. The trucks speed throughout the neighborhoods and don't stop at stop signs. Our neighborhood streets are narrow without sidewalks. As a business that services residential areas, they need to do better for the areas they serve. read more

The workers seem nice, but unfortunately service is consistently not on time and often delayed and most recently they announced during Christmas not being able to deliver for a week+ past normal weekly pick which is just crazy as this is the busiest week of the year followed by New Years. these guys are my residential trash provider. I am canceling them Monday morning. They are terrible and they just don't seem to care. They rarely pick up all my trash even though I pay more for extra bins. When I call, they tell me that I need to call back at a different time because they can't contact their drivers. (Why can they just leave themselves a note to call their drivers later?) My strong recommendation is to avoid these folks. read more

This rating is specifically for their recycling service / driver. In the past 8 weeks they have missed our recycling can for up to 4 days after they were supposed to pick it up. I have been with them for over 4 years and their service has really started to suck in the last 2 months. Time to change, if you can't service the customers you already have, don't buy more trash companies. Pictured in this review is my recycle can on a Sunday morning, pick up day was suppose to be Wednesday morning. I got an email they were running late and to leave it out so they could get it Wednesday night or Thursday. Called Friday when it had not been picked up. ****Warning**** Awful, awful, awful!! I had goods disposal for 16 years and never had a problem. Whitehall came door to door with a great offer and I unfortunately feel for it. Since signing up I have battled with subpar customer service to have our trash pick up every Friday as scheduled. Our garbage from the 1st week of January was just picked up 2 days ago......but guess what..... our recycling is still sitting out there. Literally a month of recycling!!! They give you nice bid trash cans, but you're gonna need every bit of those for there monthly trash pick up. Quite honestly, my 1 star rating is extreme generous. Whitetail has replaced BLosenski for many in my neighborhood because there were a few months last year when new Blosenski owners hadn't gotten into the groove. Whitetail's weekly recycling mechanically dumps the recycling into an open bin in front of the truck. The driver can see when it is full and then he dumps it over the truck and into the hole in the top without leaving the drivers seat. This method is not without its littering problems (Especially on windy days) and the driver waits to do the overhead dump in a flatter street than where he collected it. Soooo, the neighboring street's recycling gets blown around MY street where everyone has Blosenski. If the driver gets out to pick up the blown around trash (which he did when he was being watched at the time of the holiday tip solicitation) the trash goes back in the overhead bin to be blown around at the next overhead bin flip. Whitetail only has the driver on the recycling truck. If there is a bulk item the driver has to struggle with it himself. Not good for the driver and not good for the subscribers. Tredyffrin needs to start township run collecting. read more

I'd give zero stars if I could. As another review mentioned, every time there is a new driver it's hit or miss whether or not your service is completed. I've called on so many occasions because my trash hasn't been picked up. On multiple occasions, they've hassle me for not calling within 24 hours. Every time I explain, I'm already paying regularly and you have my address in your system. There's no reason I should have to call to have my trash picked up. I demand a credit and each time they are more and more difficult about providing it. However, they have no problem, taking their money on auto draft every three months without fail. The most recent occurrence I had was a few months ago. It was basically six weeks. They didn't pick my trash up on my pick up day. I called them repeatedly to have a recovery truck sent out. Without fail almost every single time, the recovery truck did not come when they said. My cans would sit out for days on end. First I called and got someone who explained to me the person I need to speak to would be in the next day, then the next day, then " actually she's on a leave." Then, "she'll be back now." Then "she'll call you tomorrow." Finally I told the woman on the phone to let the manager that I was waiting to hear back from know "I'm not going to stop calling!" Eventually, I heard from her. She told me she was going to research why I was not getting picked up and get back to me. I let her know if I didn't hear back from her, I would be calling again. I did eventually hear back from her. She literally told me that she actually didn't find out what the reason was that I was not picked up. But that I was right it probably was because there was a new driver. Pathetic. Total waste of time. Total waste of breath. Total waste of money. Total waste of frustration. When I signed up for them originally, they had provided themselves on not having raised their prices in over five years. Fast-forward the first year I was a customer. It kept going up & up & up, and has at least doubled at this point. If there were a couple of one star reviews, I wouldn't fault anyone for giving them a chance. But there are more one star reviews, then all the others combined!! This is your warning, not to invest your money in this company. read more

Service is declining. About 50% of trash can pickups result in cans being knocked over or placed back down blocking the entire driveway. Been here over 40 years and this is new in the last year or so. Never had this trouble with prior trash service. Look at a different company for better customer service.
