Teresa's Diner - 2 egg breakfast with meat, potato and toast

She cleaned off the table and set us up, brought out a bowl of water for Gilda and took our order. Food was delicious. Greek omelet and egg and toast w American fries. We both had the homemade cinnamon toast as well. I would recommend Teresa's diner hand down. Friendly and welcoming! I never remember to take photos of the food! But it was hot and well portioned. We seriously couldn't be more pleased!

The staff are friendly and quick to acknowledge you and get your coffee or water. I ordered the classic, eggs over medium, hash browns, sausage and sour dough toast. My wife had the biscuits and gravy with a side of scrambled eggs with rye toast. The food was freshly made and delicious. Now the reason that I only rated a 3 star: half way thru the biscuits and gravy the wife found a hair in the second half. We notified the waitress and she offered to replace it but my wife was a bit unsettled and did not want anything else. The owner and waitress were very apologetic for the incident and discounted her breakfast. If it hadn't been for the hair, Teresa's would have rated a 5 star. I still recommend this restaurant as mistakes do happen and I would not hold it against them. I have eaten here previously with no incidents so try them out if you are in the area.

The Farmer's Table is conveniently located just off the Wolverine, MI exit of I-75. It looks like it may have once been a gas station; very unassuming building with a huge parking lot for all sorts of vehicles, trucks and RV's. Once you step inside, the magic happens. Cute and cozy, filled with charming little tables and a mercantile area, the friendly staff will greet you and make you feel at home. Their menu is varied with many entrees made from locally sourced ingredients. This concept feels fresh and healthy, though the entrees themselves feel like grandma's cooking. Not fancy or trendy, but hearty, flavorful home cooking. My husband chose a pork chop, baked potato, corn and side salad. The photo of the pork chop looks juicy and tender; it was just that. He said it was the best pork chop he's ever had. The apple glaze was really good. I chose the chicken cordon blue, to sample something I would not make at home. It was rich, a tad salty yet very good. The side corn was amazing, as was the apple slaw. Next time I'll ask for mashed potatoes without the dark gravy. We took a small fried raspberry pie for dessert on the road and enjoyed mulling the through their homemade bakery items. The prices were very reasonable. We will be making this stop a regular on our way up north. Look forward to trying their brunch items, which get raved reviews.

Relatively new restaurant in Harrisville located in the same building as the old Flour Garden…read morerestaurant which closed in 2021. Brick House. similar to other restaurants in the area, has a reduced number of days it is open now that the summer/high season has past where it is open Friday through Monday and only open for breakfast and lunch on those days (8am - 2PM). The menu is a bit limited but it has all the basic's you expect to see on a normal Breakfast menu and a sandwich heavy luncheon menu. Based on my limited exposure to this restaurant (French toast with sausage patties) I would describe the food as good ole fashion home cooking where the food they make is tasty and well made. Relative to the restaurant itself, it definately has a rustic "Up North" feel to it (which I like) offering a clean, casual and comfortable dining room. Service staff are very friendly with excellent follow up where they do an great job of topping of your coffee cup during the meal (big deal for me). The one thing of note about this restaurant is that they are open on Monday where most of the restaurants in the area are not so you should definately keep this in mind if you are in the area as dining options are minimal on Monday's. Overall, definately a restaurant to try if you are in this area as many business' in The Harrisville area have failed over the years and business like this who provide a "good product" need and deserve our support. Big thumbs up for this new business!

For breakfast we ordered: Two eggs, ham, and American fries: We'll prepared and the ham was not too salty. Yummy! Build Your Own Omelette allows you to choose up to five items for $13.99. I'm not a big egg person, so I have to find ways to hide them. I ordered my omelette with bacon, double cheese and double mushroom, then I asked them to top it off with their homemade sausage gravy. It was PERFECT! The bacon was crispy. I ate every bit. Their American fries are crispy on all sides, which we really liked. After finisher her own, my dining partner snuck a few more fork-fulls from my plate. A clear sign they must have been good. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
