The wash was just okay. It didn't get the bird poop off of my car. I should have asked to go through the wash again but I didn't. I ended up scrubbing with one of the cloths provided. Popped in to get my Ford Explorer Ltd cleaned and it was worth every bit off the $25 for the ceramic wash. The two different vacuum sizes were able to reach all the nooks and crannies. Only downside was that some of the bugs on the front didn't come off and I had to clean under the top rail myself... BUT that was made simple with the provided micro cloths and spray provided for free. The free mat cleaning machine was great. The last few times I have been, my vehicle has still had dirt on it after the wash. Vacuum function is inconsistent. In regards to being contacted: the first time that I was emailed by Time to Shine was August 29th, after Id sent two emails (Aug 14 which went unanswered and again Aug 28th) . Coincidentally, after I posted the Yelp review, I was called by someone on Aug 29th. I called back that same day and left a voicemail. I did not receive a call back. I called again on Sept 5th and was able to speak with someone. Per his request, I re-sent my two vehicle repair estimates, and photos of the damage to him. Been all over the country and this is one of the worst I have ever been to. $18 for a wash that barely touched the truck. Partial brush marks all over. The brushed didn't even touch the front or tailgate of the truck. The rollers to pull you through kept jerking where it almost felt like it was come off the track. I never thought I'd review a car wash but you Yelp peeps need to know about this place. The car wash is good, it's the DIY stuff that's great. You drive into a parking spot and have access to two vacuums to do general cleaning and also get in the hard to reach places, loads of really useful microfiber towels, glass cleaner sprays, air gun to blow out stuff in air vents and such, machines that wash & dry floor mats (pretty good too!). The staff was kind, helpful and friendly (I had an issue getting my car onto the rails and they were patient, nice). I'll be back! They rise above the gas station wash places. The facility is nice and you won't be disappointed. It's a good value to just join their club with unlimited daily washes. I was actually one of their first customers when they opened for business the first day and have been in their club since. It can be crowded certain times of the day and you won't be able to wipe or vacuum your car. It's also disappointing when employees park their cars in the limited spaces available when it's busy. I know the employees have to park but maybe cut a deal with the S&S cafeteria management next door to use some of their parking spaces and give them or their employees some free washes. read more

After attempting to go to FIVE car washes in Charleston today, I finally hit the jackpot. This is the greatest car wash I have EVER attended. The staff was amazing. My car was squeaky clean. I went by the Savannah highway location on May 20 and purchased a car wash. It ended up being five dollars. There was a gentleman standing at the entrance to the car wash and was flagging me in. He did not ask for my receipt nor did I receive a sticker for my car. I came home and thought about it for a little while and decided to cancel my monthly membership due to the lack of customer service. This was done well in advance of my seven day cut off. I was never given a customer number which is required when you were trying to cancel your membership so it said there was an error and someone would get back with me, that has never happened. I would not do business with a company that does not run their business. Therefore I will be disputing the charges and letting everyone know that they don't care! I had a Volvo that had not been driven and was sitting out in the weather for over 2 years. The car was so dirty (inside and out) that I could hardly see through the window to drive it to the car wash. It was right at sunset when I pulled up to the Time to Shine on Sam Rittenburg and the attendant told me he couldn't allow me to take the car through the wash in that bad of condition. I knew I was pushing my luck by trying to take it and I was definitely pleasantly surprised when the attendant refused to let me go through. He said in order for me to take this car through I would have to wash it first to get most of the dirt and grim off it. After all, if this car went through, what type of damage could have happened to the next car that drove up after me? It' not often to write a positive review when being refused service, but I just want folks to know that this company really cares about their customers and their reputation. read more
