Steven and his awesome TEAM : ) were on time, gave us a call as they were approaching our place, and started working right away. Their estimate was right on and their timing was just as good. They spent about 5 hours on my Subaru Outback. They literally made it look and smell like new. They detailed like crazy and have all the right tools! They have a carpet cleaner with EXTRACTOR, so none of the smells stay after it all dries. Their attention to detail was tremendous and they stuck around to finish every little bit. I bought a car from a local used care dealership and there was very little attention placed on the cleanliness of the interior. There was gunk built up all over the place, stains in the headliner, crayon residue on the carpet in the rear and what appeared to be a heavy stain (possible paint or something similar) on the vinyl trim by one of the child seat areas, in a few hours it all came clean. Palm Wash is a very detail-oriented company that holds high standards to what your car should look like once they are finished with it. Stephen of Palm Wash did a great job on our car. We had left it in the driveway over the summer so it would look like somebody was home. This was the wettest summer in Charleston for a long time and my car had several small leaks. When we got home everything was fuzzy inside with mold and mildew. Stephen had to take the entire interior apart, and he counseled us to immediately call our insurance company. He worked until he had run down and taken care of all the leaks, and handled the issue with our insurance company as well, since we needed the ozone treatment to keep the mold from returning. Stephen showed up on time, was personable and professional. Very knowledgeable with product and service offerings. He was able to successfully eliminate the stains on my seats. He recommended his special buff and wax service, I had no idea if the truck had ever had it done before since I purchased it used. I'm SO glad he recommended this. My 2009 Tacoma looks brand new, inside and out! Right after Stephen got done we took the truck to a professional security system install garage. Called Stephen and discussed my situation of requiring my son's SUV cleaned from top to bottom that was full of dog hair from our beloved dog "Moose" and other mess of a typical college student. As a favor for having to reschedule my appt. later that same day because of a power outage to his building, Stephen transported me back to my place of stay while he worked on the car for over 5 hours. The car was cleaner than I had ever seen it. All of the dog hair was gone and the outside of the car was cleaned and waxed to a "T". Got a quote for our small car ($150) for an interior/exterior detail. He showed up on time and immediately started working. This guy spent SIX HOURS working on our car. We have a dog, which sometimes rides in the car, and I swear he got rid of every single hair in the interior. He put as much attention to detail to the exterior. The car looks brand new. When I talked to the guy, he said he recently started his business less than a month ago. He dreams of opening his own car wash/detail shop. Wow. Backstory: Pulled into work garage, spilled sticky crockpot sauce all over passenger seat but I needed to get into work before I could do anything about it. 12-hour shift later, I had zero chance of getting the mess off of my light gray fabric interior. I recently took my daughter's car to Palm Auto for detailing. The hood and roof of her 2001 red Volvo were weathered to a very dull finish, in contrast to the still bright and shiny sides. I was only in Charleston for a couple of more days when I made my appointment and Stephen was very accommodating to my schedule. He got me right in and his crew spent 4+ hours restoring the finish to its original sheen. I was impressed by the thoroughness and the attention to every detail. Got our vehicle back after some minor body work at the dealership (Vaden in Hardeeville SC, they SUCK)with the interior covered in bondo dust and pollen. Don't ask me why the windows would be left open at a body shop or why they would think it would be acceptable after just a quick wipe down, but whatever. The results exceeded my expectations. The car was thoroughly detailed and wash/wax was added to preserve the finish. The detailer even removed the black gas residue around the inside of the tailpipes. He also air dusted inside the trunk and hood. He cleaned the windows better than I could have done myself.
