Stopped in to the Morris Ace Hardware as I needed one small part to fix a door lock. Unfortunately I can't remember the associates name, but he said they may have an extra part in back for what I needed. He went back and found the one part I needed and gave it to me free of charge. He saved me quite a bit of money as I did not need all the other parts that would have come in a kit. Fantastic customer service not always seen in this day and age. read more

I would rather go here than the local Menard's any day. In fact I wouldn't say otherwise even if hell froze over. It is by far the GREATEST hardware store in town. Heck I'd go as far to say that this is the greatest hardware store in the entire Tri-state area. I come here all the time whenever I need any type of fasteners for my projects. Their selection is easily on par with Menard's despite what you may think. But more importantly, no hardware store is complete without helpful hardware folk, and boy does this store have helpful folk. I have been performing manual labor my entire life and was a carpenter for 10 years, but I still find that I don't always have all the answers. Well you know who does? The employees here, that's who. I highly recommend asking Adam or Jeff if you have any questions as they both have extensive knowledge in almost every home improvement subject. If you can't find them though, don't be afraid to ask the other employees, most of them know a thing or two about home improvement, and even if they don't know exactly what your looking for, they don't hesitate to communicate with their co-workers for help. I would say even the new hires are somewhat knowledgeable and very helpful in the long run. My husband went to this store this morning and was surprised to see that none of the workers were wearing masks. There was no notice on the door that masks were required. There were no marks on the floor at check-out to encourage social distancing. My husband tried calling the manager when he arrived home. Whoever answered the phone transferred him to the manager, but no one ever picked up. We will NOT be shopping here again. What a shame, because we like to support locally-owned stores! read more

I LOVE this hardware store, always check here first before venturing out to the mega marts. Their staff KNOWS things, unlike the hit and miss you get elsewhere. Friendly staff, clean, well laid out, excellent selection of hardware. Love the discounts and regular coupons. You really don't pay that much using deals, but that little extra gives you great advice. read more

I've never had an unpleasant experience at this Ace Hardware. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly. They have top-notch brands and always keep their store well stocked. They know their products well, make great suggestions and often come up with novel solutions to unique problems. One thing that I really like, is that they're an 'independent' Ace Hardware, which means that they can stock items that are useful, unique and aren't typically supplied by the AH corporation. Many times, I've been surprised by the types of specialty items that they sell. Whether you're repairing something new, or old, they probably have the part you need. While there, I've always been asked, at least a few times, if I'm finding what I need, which I really appreciate. Whenever I've asked for help finding something, or have a question, they are always eager to help. Sure, you can probably get some items cheaper at a large home improvement center, but if you need something quickly and need solid advice, this is the place to go. read more
