This is an indoor flea market, not an antique shop. Vendors rent "booths" and display their goods. That being said, it's awesome. Three floors of treasures and just crap to poke through. Something for everyone. The prices are fair - not cheap - but I didn't see much that was overpriced. It's a great place to meander through on a cold or rainy day. Lots to see. The staff was helpful and nice. I used the bathroom. It was in the back room and was a sight to see. But it worked for me! You should visit Whitney Hill Antiques if you're in the area. Caveat emptor! Be aware that if you buy something here, you can neither return nor exchange it! Let me repeat that, you can't even EXCHANGE it. So if your misguided spouse, let us say, buys something you hate, you're stuck with it. This would seem to be a bad business plan, since if I'd been able to at least exchange it, I'd probably have bought something more expensive, and perhaps gone again. As it is, I'll never go there again, and neither will my spouse. read more

Very big building couple floors no elevator. But wow it's clean and staff everywhere if you need help with anything. Thousands and thousands of items at great prices. I will be back to see what I might have missed. read more

There are 3 floors of vendors here (main, upper, lower) with no public bathroom. Masks are required and hand sanitizer is available. There are a variety of items (furniture, dishes, children's games, jewelry) to browse through. We were there well over an hour and purchased a painting and a vintage firefighter's dress hat (cover) from the area. Friendly staff offered help and pointed out the doorbell by the staircase to use if we needed help and no one was around. It was clean, organized and there were vendors in some of the booths refreshing their inventory. Free on-street parking today (Sunday) made it easy too. We would stop back when in the area again. read more

A maze of antique booths, with seemingly not a ton of turn over, i have gone probably 6 times in the past year and never bought as much as i did the first time. With that said i got some great scores but since then it feels like i am almost forcing some of my purchases to justify the 3 hours it takes to walk around this place. A little over helpful is how i would describe the women at the front, they see you buying a tea pot of flower frog and all of the sudden they are pulling them out from all over the store for you. 3 floors, the basement i usually forget to go to but dont think i have really missed much and most of the top floor has been the same stuff for a year, there are deals to be found but probably 5-6 times as many items that are priced to stay. Discount area should be cleared out and taken to the dump. read more

There are 3 floors filled with amazing merchandise, but don't look for someone to help you or to answer questions, we'll not unless you go downstairs and wait at the register, for the staff to find someone to assist you. They are also priced on the high side. Greenfield, has some AMAZING, Antique, Vintage Goods, & Thrift Stores, that look more like boutiques. Greenfield, may have found its niche. read more

While passing through downtown Greenfield this store caught the corner of my eye, so I decided to stop in. This antique and consignment store is fairly new to this particular space and it was chalked full of different items. The best part about this store was the fact that the rear of the store houses a few spaces that are dedicated to arts and sculptures. Some of the items included paintings, candles, and other unique sculptures. Beyond the incredible artwork, the prices in this store were incredibly overpriced. This is typical of most antique and consignment stores, but posted around the store were signs stating that their prices were "firm and fair". This was a bit of an overstatement due to the fact that you could find similar items for half the price at some of the shops in Deerfield. Overall, the store was well organized and it is clear that the merchants selling their goods are trying to make their way. That being said, I hope that the staff and vendors will be more reasonable with their prices so that they can move their items. Besides the complaining, it is a nice store situated in the heart of Greenfield. read more

Labyrinth-like antique store with three floors, and tons of stuff to see. If you stop in you really need to take your time because there is so much to see, literally from ceiling to floor. Prices were decent. It's an independent booth style antique shop with owners not present. Most booths had sales going on. Staff was real friendly at checkout, and wrapped all glass items in newspaper. A definite stop if your in Greenfield. read more

What a disappointment. After years of giving this shop literally hundreds and hundreds dollars in business.. I stopped in today with my Grandchildren and spent almost $100.00 between us. My Grandaughter was visiting me from California and had her allowance to spend. My husband and got tired so made our purchase and waited in the car for them. Turns out my Grandaughter was charged 20.00 for a comic book. She thought it was .20 cents. She was too embarrassed to ask where her change was to the owner. When I realized my Grandaughters mistake, (we were in the car outside the shop) I quickly called the owner to ask if I could bring the comic back in and get credit for it. The owner made despairing remarks about my Grandaughter should have realized it was $20.00. and they had a Final Sale Sign up. It had only be 1 minute, I was right outside. They will never have my business again. How rude to imply to a Grandma that her Grandaughter wasn't very smart. We lost $20.00 , Whitney Hill lost thousands from us .. our home is decorated with Whitney Antiques. Plus I will pass their rudeness on to all those I know who purchase there. You would think in the middle of this time of trouble, they could have cut a kid a break. Really disgusted by the whole thing. read more

Stopped into Whitney Hill Antiques just to browse but I was amazed by the quantity and the quality of the antiques! There are three floors of space filled with items from many different vendors. The staff was personable and helpful, and I will definitely be returning in the future as well as recommended it to friends! read more

It's great to have a huge local junk shop to go putter through and hope to find something cool. Most of what they have is junk...over priced junk. I have found a couple good pre cambrian pieces in the front glass cabinet but they were not willing to haggle with me at all..not even a little. Very disappointing because I had cash. And the attitudes they give when you try to ask a question. They could be a little more curteous. I'll go in again....but it's always she same stuff...their prices are so high they can't move product.... read more
