She noticed things that my previous dentists overlooked, and found the root cause to my jaw clenching and grinding. She truly cares about her patience's health and well being. I am a highly anxious person, hence the grinding/clenching, and dentist appts always brought me more anxiety. She ALWAYS ask what she can do to make the experience better. She provides me with a blanket, and a mango stress ball. She also offers clients the Tv remote, sunnies, pillows, etc. I am always treated with care. On top of that, the office has an office doggo!! It is small and so so cute! The dental hygienist are kind too and try their best to create rapport with the clients. The appt usually takes an hour and since they're with you, it creates a safe space. You can park in the front or in the bottom level of the nearby garage.

I have been treated very rudely and the hygienists I have seen over this recent time period have been very rough on my mouth, not treating me with the care that I was used to receiving from prior hygienists. I have had to wait at least 20 minutes each time I come in for a visit. One time I had a 3 week old at home and informed them of this, and they did not seem to care. Another time when I was pregnant, my seat was pushed all the way down and I was left in this unsafe and uncomfortable position for a very long time. The billing has also been very complicated and we have received bills for items we already paid for. Invisalign was being sold to my husband when he went in. It's a shame because I went here for a very long time, but this is no longer an acceptable level of care for my family and I.

I stated that I would not agree to anything that required out-of-pocket payment and that I only wanted what was covered under my annual check-up. When they suggested taking X-rays, my husband declined and said he only wanted the cleaning. She told to my husband the X-rays would be fully covered by our insurance and that we would not have to pay anything. However, after I was seated in the dental chair, a coordinator came in and said the total treatment cost would be over $2,000 and that I would need to pay $350. I clearly repeated that both my husband and I only wanted the simple cleaning covered by insurance. They acknowledged this, and we both received only the simple cleaning that day. Two weeks later, the office billed my husband $948 for services not covered by insurance--specifically the X-rays the staffs had told us were fully covered. The office also charged me $88 for "oral hygiene instruction." Instruction? During the visit, the dentist asked when my last cleaning was, and I said four months ago. She mentioned inflammation but didn't identify a cause. I told that I have diabetes and would follow up with my primary care doctor, but that for that day I only wanted the simple cleaning covered by my annual check-up. I believe this billing situation is extremely dishonest. I clearly stated multiple times--when making the appointment, during the visit, to the dentist, and to the coordinator--that I only wanted procedures fully covered by insurance. Yet I still received these charges. I would like to ask: if a dental office says X-rays are fully covered and proceeds with them, but later claims they are not covered, is the patient really responsible for paying the full amount? I also want to know if anyone else has experienced something similar with this dental office.

As someone who has received a lot of dental…read moretreatment over the years, I can confidently say that Dr Rayek is terrible - he replaced two crowns for me, during the process did not provide any local numbing and I ended up feeling every piece of the process, the most excruciating pain I have experienced. After doing some research post procedure, I came to understand failure to provide numbing goes against standard of care requirements. After the procedure, I ended up getting a severe infection in my mouth and had to see another dentist in his practice for treatment to relieve the infection. Then, following this I received a call from his office stating that the particular crown he used was not approved by my insurance, despite them supposedly checking beforehand and I ended up getting a bill that we had not previously agreed to - the only response from him and his office was 'sorry'. I would think carefully about going to see Dr Rayek - there are plenty of other amazing dentists in the area where you will not experience these issues!

It was a very trying time, calling upward 25 different practices looking for emergency dentistry to help during the stay at home order. Nik was opened with limited hours for emergency services. The receptionist was so professional, polite and friendly! My BF said that he felt safe and took comfort in the fact that the doctor was thorough in trying to save the tooth root if he could - the crack was too bad though, and they had to extract it and graph the area. The doctor was very clear when telling us what the plan was to getting a implant and the timelines needed. The receptionist was very knowledgeable about the insurance coverage and gave us multiple options, providing insight as to how we could maximize our deductions and provided us with additional paperwork we could use when filing workers comp and short term disability with his work.
