My primary care doctor, Dr. Serna, is amazing and always takes great care of me. I had an appointment with her today, but the office called to let me know she wasn't in and asked if I wanted to reschedule or see another doctor. Since I've been in significant ear pain, I chose to see Dr. Ashizawa just to get a referral to an ENT. My appointment was at 3:00, but he didn't come in until 3:50. After briefly looking in my ear and doing a quick ear drum test, he said nothing was wrong and that there was nothing more he could do. I asked if he could please send a referral to an ENT since I'm in a lot of pain and pressure, but he shrugged and said there was no point because they wouldn't do anything different. That's simply not true, he barely investigated the issue. I left after two hours with no diagnosis or help and am now debating whether to go to the ER or pay out of pocket to see a specialist. I'd highly recommend avoiding Dr. Ashizawa, he seemed completely dismissive and uninterested in helping his patients.

They just moved into the offices from another office, so the only downside is it was inviting at first how bare it was with no decorations and boxes everywhere. She took her time with me. My veins had collapsed years ago for another medical condition so I was worried they were gonna poke and prod my arm. She gently took her time finding my small vein and got it the first time without picking my arm out like other doctors in the past. On top of that she did it herself, not a nurse. My ink is all black, my tattoo was about 10 years old, and I have light skin tone. All these factors, I was told, make me the ideal candidate for full removal and I should see "amazing results". Three years later and I have had the worst experience with this company, their miscommunication about the process and length of time needed between sessions, along with the constant staff turnover and mishandling of appointments. Expect appointments to be regularly cancelled or reschedule at the last minute. Manager will offer no assistance in extending treatment for desired result, the again want you to continue to give them thousands for unknown number of treatments. They are constantly trying to sell you new treatments when at your appointment, during scheduling, or just trying to get assistance. It's a full money grab so they can see how much they can get out of you, it's pathetic. Rather then treating you for your current procedures and concerns it's all about what they can get you to sign up for next. I've heard great things from patients who choose Removery and they see the results that LaserAway can not provide. I wish I knew about them sooner! Stay away!

Dr. Chang reviewed my sleep apnea test with me over two months ago, and together we selected a CPAP machine. Since then, I have heard absolutely nothing. After multiple follow-up calls, I was repeatedly told that the delay was due to my insurance company not approving the equipment. When I contacted my insurance directly, they informed me they could not authorize something that had never even been submitted by the office. On top of that, the patient portal constantly has problems, making communication even harder. Sleep apnea is a serious medical condition, and delays like this can directly impact a person's health and quality of life. Patients should not have to chase down basic medical follow-up or discover on their own that paperwork was never submitted. My advice: pick up copies of your exam results and consider seeing another pulmonologist.
