Mariana made me feel completely comfortable, and we talked the whole time which made it go by so fast. She's incredibly knowledgeable and answered all my questions about other services at LaserAway, including lip filler and Botox. I really appreciated how informative she was without being pushy. You can tell she's experienced and confident in what she does. She's also the lead nurse, and she even offered to personally follow up for me regarding a concern I had from a prior appointment. Stay away! They do not honor full tattoo removal. I have been undergoing tattoo removal for the past 3 years on my arm sleeve and I can tell you that they are doing something wrong. My ink is all black, my tattoo was about 10 years old, and I have light skin tone. All these factors, I was told, make me the ideal candidate for full removal and I should see "amazing results". Three years later and I have had the worst experience with this company, their miscommunication about the process and length of time needed between sessions, along with the constant staff turnover and mishandling of appointments. Expect appointments to be regularly cancelled or reschedule at the last minute. Manager will offer no assistance in extending treatment for desired result, the again want you to continue to give them thousands for unknown number of treatments. They are constantly trying to sell you new treatments when at your appointment, during scheduling, or just trying to get assistance. It's a full money grab so they can see how much they can get out of you, it's pathetic. Rather then treating you for your current procedures and concerns it's all about what they can get you to sign up for next. I've heard great things from patients who choose Removery and they see the results that LaserAway can not provide. I wish I knew about them sooner! Stay away! read more

Had such a great experience at LaserAway today for my CoolSculpting treatment! From the second I walked in, everyone at the front desk was so friendly and welcoming. Jean at the front desk was especially kind and made me feel right at home. Nurse Naomi was amazing. She checked on me throughout the entire treatment, made sure I was comfortable, and explained everything so I knew exactly what to expect. I had an incredibly disappointing experience with LaserAway. I was given a robe with wet spots on it, which was unsanitary and embarrassing. The worst part? I didn't realize it until I had already been wearing it for 10-15 minutes. Even the nurse wouldn't touch it. I made several attempts to speak with someone about the issue, but the customer service was terrible. Instead of acknowledging my concerns or offering any solution, I was essentially called a liar. There was no apology, no attempt to make things right, and no discussion of a remedy. I'm still waiting for someone to address this issue and it's been 32 days. Avoid this location! The office staff is either rude or just has a bad stank face each time I go. They have either called or texted me for a reschedule last minute. They texted me last minute rescheduling for an earlier time, which I should have never agreed to. I let them know I would be running a bit late and asked if I could push my appointment back 30 mins, just to be told there was another patient at that time which is fine. But when I asked if I could arrive 10 mins before or get another time since my service is super quick they completely went dark. Thankfully I only have 2 sessions left but definitely never coming back to this location and will be going to SEV instead. SEV consistently provides amazing customer service and don't have RBF staff who look like they hate people. read more

I love Hannah! The front office staff is nice here! I can go in there and be silly and laugh with them but still be treated professionally. I always have to be so serious and professional all day long so it's nice to go in and feel like you're having some fun girl time. I really enjoy Hannah because she gets it done and well while also letting me joke around with her. She's Great on customer service and THOROUGH with her work. The most important part is that she listens. I feel like a lot of times it's hard to find people that deal with medical or beauty that listen. Often times they want to try to push their own look or agenda and if you're picky like me I don't mind that as long as it's a suggestion. Often times you come across people who want to push their look on you and Hannah does not do that. She tells you a couple of things that she would do instead or in addition but she checks with you and then you guys decide what to do together from there. She just has really great bedside manner knowledge and I enjoy her so much. The Front office staff they get the job done obviously they're busy doing scheduling but I can sit there and once again say hi joke around with them a little bit before heading about my day. It just makes the whole visit enjoyable instead of feeling like you're just a number like I have felt at other locations. So I would say this location in Mission Viejo and the Lake Forest location are the two that I would recommend as of right now. I've been to several... I've been coming to LaserAway for over 1 year now and every time I come there are extreme delays - minimum of 30 minutes from the scheduled appt time. There is no communication from the front desk girls. I always have to go to the front and check status of when I'll actually be seen. I have been forgotten about and there is always an excuse (complication, machine broke, short staffed) but it happens every time. Do NOT GO TO LASER AWAY!! I received the IPL treatment from laser away at the end of October. Immediately after the service my chest was on fire and unbearable. I asked for aloe at the front desk because I knew something was wrong and I was burnt. I also needed to ask for SPF because nothing was applied post service to go outside. I immediately contacted laser away to let them know what happened and that I won't be returning for my other treatments of my package. I also received laser hair removal which was also spotty and uneven because it was done by the same technician. It took many weeks to heal these burns and daily application of aloe and burn cream. I couldn't go outside without being covered completely due to the pain and scabs. I still have pink marks where the blisters were and it's been almost 2 months and my chest still has uneven marks. The scab on my face healed up thankfully! The cherry on top is that it took a month and a half of numerous calls and e-mails to ever get a call back from customer service to try and resolve the issue and of course, they won't refund anything and want to charge me full price for a "single session treatment" instead of the price it would be per session with the package deal. So it ends up being more expensive for just the one session. Laser away is a total scam. As soon as you ask for info about pricing you will be haggled daily with numerous calls and emails trying to get you to buy their package deals. And then when you get burned and your service is horrifying, they give you the run around for months and don't care and will charge you anyways. Big corporate doesn't care. Wish I went with my gut and avoided this place from the get go. read more

I walked into LaserAway a few weeks ago and had a great experience with the front desk. The ladies were kind and helpful in getting me set up with a package for laser tattoo removal sessions. I specifically asked if they used Pico lasers, and they said yes. When I went in for my first appointment last weekend, the technician who came in was kind but apprehensive. It made me uncomfortable because she wasn't as confident as I would hope someone would be when working on my body. She asked to see the tattoo, took a picture, and said she's going to talk with a nurse and come back with the protocol. That whole idea is foreign to me seeing as any other med spa I've gone to consists of professionals who know what they're doing beforehand. I waited for a bit and she came back saying she knew what to do now. I was getting increasingly anxious/nervous/uncomfortable, so before we went any further, I asked if she could confirm that we're using a Pico laser. She looked very confused and said she wasn't sure and has never heard of that before. I was shocked. To be in this industry and not familiar with a Pico laser is kind of a red flag for me. We engaged in a conversation that didn't seem productive seeing as she didn't know too much, so she said she's going to ask for help. Very long story short, I spent an hour there, talking with a couple different associates until someone from the front desk came and tried to answer my questions. Ultimately, no one was able to clarify/confirm my questions, so I decided to hold off on my first session. I was told someone would call me by end of day (Saturday), and they did not. I followed up with a call on Monday and spoke with Gianna who said she will contact their manager who was at the Lake Forest location and ensure I get a call back within 30 minutes, which also never happened. It has been four days since my appointment and I have not received any calls, texts, or emails - no communication - from anyone at LaserAway. I am extremely disappointed and turned off at their lack of customer service, education, and follow through. I want a full refund and will not be recommending them to anyone. read more

Been disappointed I signed up for a package including hair removal to the jaw, neck and under arms. I was told that I would probably not need to use all 10 appointments but if there were extra visits left they could be used for future maintenance if needed. After completing all 10 visits I am very disappointed in the results. I still have about 50% of the hair left on the jaw/neck area and about 20% left on the Under arm area.
