I liked the creaminess of the custard, but was a bit confused by all the options and varieties that can be put together with just 3 flavors. The store wasn't terribly inviting and had an industrial feel to it. The front door needs to be repaired as it slams loudly everytime someone enters or leaves. Super annoying.

Rude, racist and mean. I came in with my family excited because we have never been here before and a women with dark hair, glasses and a blue shirt had her face turned up and was very rude. She had a bad attitude that had nothing to do with us. Every time we asked a question she was mean when responding. I will never come back to this location the energy was weird and uncomfortable. I hate spending my money on things when the employees are so rude. If I didn't have my kids I would have walked out. Wasted money because the experience was so bad.

I love the Custard on a Waffle Cone!

Best Frozen Custard in town. I typically go to the one in Gahanna, Ohio. Service is always great, friendly staff, and pricing is affordable. They are open during the pandemic just have facial covering and use safety precautions.

cold and uninviting... I go to the Westerville location at least once a week and have also been to several of the other locations in the central Ohio area. I am not that impressed with this new location in Powell. This place just opened up a few weeks ago. I like the larger eating area that this location has. Typically Whit's doesn't have much seating so this is a plus for this location. The custard tasted great and has the consistency that I get at other Whits. Other than those two things that's about all the positive things I can say about this location. The atmosphere seemed really cold and uninviting. The female working at the time we came in didn't say hi when we came in and even though there were no other people in the shop, she seemed frazzled. All of the locations that I have been to include whipped cream, sprinkles and cherries at no extra charge. This location does not have that listed so I asked about it. She indicated it was a charge but not to worry about it today. Odd! I'm glad she didn't charge me for it. Order 1 scoop of the flavor of the week which was the Bourbon Praline Pecan- Bourbon Custard with Praline Pecans and Caramel Swirls The scoop that I got was not what I am accustomed to getting at the other locations and as a matter of fact it seemed on the skimpy side. I recommend getting some friendlier staff and don't be so stingy with the custard, you are charging more than all the other locations I have been to.

The custard is fine, the floors are always filthy, and you can tell that the employees hate their jobs.

It would have been helpful for staff to make suggestions or quickly go over menu options. But, everyone is doing their best on a stressful evening. We ended up with just scoops in a cup, but I'm excited to explore the menu more next time and try a sundae or dipped waffle cone. We tried 3 flavors total: campfire s'mores, cookie dough, and mint cookies & cream. Campfire s'mores was definitely the star of the show with large marshmallows and graham cracker chunks. The cookie dough was also good as the base tasted like cookies and the dough pieces were large. I wasn't very impressed with the mint cookies & cream, but I can't put my finger on why. I just like the flavor at other locations better. Overall prices seem pretty on par with other local premium ice cream shops. Although it seems this location is cheaper than the others around central Columbus when looking at online ordering?? Overall, looking forward to coming back to try more unique flavors and seasonal specials!

Only one caveat: there have been multiple times when I ordered a single butter burger, and they rang up a double. And this does not appear unique to this location. Unfortunately, this is not something to resolve quickly if you went through the drive-through. Also, it is nice to be recognized by the staff when you dine in.

I got a single patty melt with grilled onions and a small concrete, and my hubby got a double butter burger and fries. The patty melt was pitiful. The beef patty was so thin I had to open the sandwich to see it. It was maybe 2 ounces, at most. They left off the grilled onions, so I had to go the counter and ask for them. It was supposed to have mayo but it was really dry. There was no way it had over 600 calories when there was almost nothing to it! My hubby's food was definitely better, but he was still hungry afterwards. It was over $25, a very poor value for what we got. The place was super busy, packed with families eating Sunday dinner. We left scratching our heads wondering why it's so popular. Is the main draw the ice cream? The ice cream is good, but I'm kind of hesitant to order food here again.
