We went on a Sunday night and the drive through was busy, and there was also a line out the door. A nice place to check out if you're near. With it being Sunday night, they were out of the first three choices of ice cream flavors we wanted. So I'd recommend going earlier in the day. I ordered one scoop of mint chip ice cream. One scoop is plenty - it's more like two. The flavor was delicious. Lots of chocolate pieces! I recommend looking at the actual ice cream freezers instead of just the menu. There were a few flavors that weren't listed on the menu, but were in the coolers. The price is pretty on par with other businesses. My boyfriend got the breakfast sandwich with the Turkey sausage. It smelled scrumptious and he the English muffin was good. Really great little local spot. Was meeting a colleague here for coffee the other night and it was perfectly located and easy to find. I suspect it gets super busy on the weekend mornings as I saw on the chalkboard they bring in donuts from Der Dutchman so - get ready! :) Chocolate Mocha with skim milk and there are two sizes to choose from...The staff are adorable kids truly adorable and very professional and with personality which is refreshing. I don't live in the area but my father does - nice to take note of it as it's close to his condo and a great place to meet up. Worth the drive as I'm coming in from the NE part of town between Westerville and New Albany. I was delighted to check this place out. This is the ice cream I have been looking for since I moved to Columbus in 2019! Like a shining sugar beacon in the night, they were open at 8:45 PM on a Sunday for us to get drive-thru milkshakes! I had been craving a mocha shake and they really delivered. It was cold, thick, creamy and delicious. They have lots of yummy looking flavors and a few special feature flavors of the day to choose from. They also have all kinds of coffee beverages. The folks working were really friendly and fast. What really impressed me is their drive thru. It's not everyday an ice cream shop has a drive thru. Another cute thing that dell's does is you can pay forward by purchasing a gift card or someone else to cash out. The white mocha had the perfect blend of coffee & sweetness instead of how most places are heavy on the sweet or heavy on the coffee. The frozen hot chocolate had a natural flavor vs the packaged cocoa you buy in stores. We didn't get ice cream, but checked out the flavors and sundaes. This is a great ice cream option! Their interior dining area is currently closed, but they offer drive-thru and a walk-up window. They've also cordoned off some space in the parking lot and set up a couple of picnic tables, in addition to the benches located on the exterior of the building. They offer a nice variety of flavors, including both standard flavors, as well as special monthly options, as scoops, sundaes, or milkshakes. They also offer a selection of coffee, teas, bagels, and breakfast sandwiches, which sounded good too. The staff person was friendly, patient (there were no other customers, and since it was our first visit, we perused the flavor board for a bit), and efficient. We went with scoops of the mint chocolate chip in a dish, which had a refreshing minty flavor and nice little flecks of chocolate. It certainly hit the spot on a hot day. I love Dells and have for a while! I recently found out their breakfast sandwiches are Jimmy Dean and costs 1/8th of the price they make you pay for when you get it. Also- the difference between an iced matcha and a regular matcha is OVER $1.50 price difference and I'm pretty sure all they do is add ice. Most of the staff is extremely nice and patient, especially when I've seen one girl on in the morning hours balancing walk ins and drive through business like a professional! I have seen a few instances in my visits that make me question the people they hire and their training- maybe don't talk about sex and drugs in front of customers? This can't always be prevented as I know 16/17 year old high schoolers may not listen or care, but just a thought to add into this review. Their donuts are DELICIOUS they are Der Dutchmen and so yummy when you get them in the beginning of the week. Their ice cream sandwiches are also amazing and we get them to keep in our freezer and they are so big they last us a while. Their pints are all hand-packed by the staff, which is just another reason to tip these workers for their service while having breakfast or a treat at this establishment. Even though Dell's is less than two miles from my house, I didn't know about it until I stumbled upon it here on Yelp. And boy, am I glad I did! Located just past Iacono's on Dublin Road, Dell's has a quaint exterior. Billed as an ice cream and coffee shop, I stopped by for a scoop after dinner. The interior is quite simple, only a few tables and chairs. Chalkboard menus display coffee and ice cream options. A smaller menu selection, but there should still be something for almost everyone. The service was good. It is apparent that this is a great summer job option for high schoolers, so service was as I expected. I opted for a scoop of Campfire in a waffle cone. No description of the Campfire flavor was listed, but it turned out to be just what I thought: Vanilla ice cream with chocolate chunks, marshmallows and a few toasted almonds for a little crunch. The ice cream was delicious! The vanilla was rich and creamy and I really enjoyed the crunch of the almonds. The waffle cone was pretty standard, though. Not as warm and comforting like the one's Jeni's makes. My Pa really enjoyed his scoops of Caramel Chocolate Covered Pretzel and Mint Chocolate Chip as well. A walk-up window and drive-thru really add to the establishment, although I wish there was more outdoor seating. The one picnic table was full as we were leaving at 8:15pm.
