There's a reason for the long lines. Pretty good ice cream with a ton of choices. Homemade and unique. One large table in the back for seating so expect you may want to take it to go.
Staff made the experience memorable for our group of seven! Even with such a large group, the servers made sure to offer us the opportunity to try their different flavors of ice creams. I tried their Brambleberry Crisp ice cream with chocolate. The two scoops were perfect after a hearty meal! There was additional seating in the back which made the area feel more inviting.
I have been coming to Jeni's since she first opened and High St was her only location. I love that she started in Columbus, so even when I lived out in TX- I supported her. I do think her flavors are getting a bit much. Her originals like the goat cheese and red berries & chocolate cayenne were just so different. She has very different flavors now, but the vast majority have been bad recently. The s'more advertised marshmallow, gave ashtray. All the traditional/ not seasonal flavors taste the same.
Jeni's is my go to ice cream shop in Columbus. They have a ton of fun & unique flavors that are made with the best ingredients & you can taste the quality! It's fun trying all of their new limited time & seasonal flavors; there's bound to be a flavor for everyone any time you go! I love all of the fantastic locations they have as well; the walk up window in German Village, and the locations in the Short North & Grandview are my favorite; because they're perfect for grabbing a scoop or two & then enjoying a nice walk with your delicious ice cream! For those that normally have to skip out on ice cream due to dietary restrictions, Jeni's is still for you! They have a ton of dairy free ice creams that are seriously quality & taste great! My go to is Texas sheet cake, it's loaded on the chocolate flavors, but all the df options like Carmel Pecan Sticky Buns, Banana Cream Pudding & even the Frosé are all amazing! Most of these are vegan, & they have a ton of gluten free options as well! Regardless of the kind of ice cream you like, Jeni's is a spot you need to try!
Ok, it's ice cream. So you know, it's yummy. But they have really cool flavors and these crazy house-made waffle cones too. We are chocolate fans, so we had to do the double dark chocolate. I also had the salted peanut butter something or other, all yummy. Great service, the line is long, but they seem to keep it moving and are plenty friendly. Prices are reasonable and you get 2-half scoops per order, so you can try two different flavors. They also include a little pie-shaped piece of the yummy waffle cones with each order in a cup. Good call!
Saw this ice cream shop everywhere. Fun flavors that hit the spot. They have seasonal flavors that are worth a try, but if you don't like things too sweet I'd stick to the classics. I sooo wish I could have tried their miso flavor ice cream. Instead I tried their gooey butter cake and cookie dough. Also v good and we were able to get a split scoop !
Now this ice cream was amazing. My first time ever trying it. They let you try as many flavors as you want! The guy working was really nice and patient. There a few seats right by this location it is fairly loud because I'd eh food hall.

Delicious ice cream and I love the "standard" which is 2 small scoops of 2 flavors for 6.50 that is not California prices and it keeps me coming back each day for more! The salted peanut butter and goey cake together was delightful. Service was fast and friendly and felt bubbly and fun just like the interior of this shop. Loved every minute and every bite
This is such a fun spot to go to. They have some of the most unique ice cream flavors I've seen with combinations that work really well together. The staff was super friendly and patient with me as I asked questions about the flavors and tasted multiple. My favorite I tried was the brambleberry crisp. I loved the textures and fruit flavor mixed into the ice cream. I sat on the patio and it felt like I was almost at the beach. I enjoyed the decor they had as well as the ample seating area outside. I will definitely be back here when I make another Mason trip.

Flavors were amazing as always, especially the tropical bloom (spring flavor). There isn't any seating next to the stand but there is plenty of comfortable seating upstairs of Short North market.
Amazing selection of gourmet ice creams. They advertise their cookie dough as some of their best ice cream and I have to agree. Creamy and full of cookie dough - some of the best ice cream I've ever had. Lovely seating area in the back where we enjoyed our ice cream. Great service. Service was super friendly and welcoming. And the ambiance is your typical neighborhood ice cream shop, super inviting and nostalgic. I needed some caffeine and was in the mood for some ice cream after failing two exams back to back, so I found myself at jeni's ordering an affogato. The fine folks at jeni's usually recommend you get the affogato with the brown butter almond brittle, and who am I to say otherwise. They poured maybe 3-4 oz of dark, concentrated cold brew over two scoops of ice cream and off I went to my precariously parked car to scarf it down. Initially I thought that the ratio of ice cream to coffee was a little too much and I thought it would have been better with espresso as opposed to cold brew but I ate a spoonful and it all made sense. The smoothness and slight bitterness of the cold brew played perfectly with the ice cream and there were bits of almonds and brittle in every bite to add textural variation. At the end you're left with this nice little latte situation to top it off. Super fun and interesting experience, would definitely recommend!

I've been getting Jeni's from Whole Foods for years since we don't have a store in Nor Cal, so I was excited to finally visit an actual Jeni's while I was in Columbus. The ice cream is even better than what I get in a pint. They have such an interesting selection of flavors, and I love that a lot of them feel more unique and thoughtfully made than what you'd typically find at an ice cream shop. Brambleberry is my all time fave. There's something fun about finally getting to visit the actual store after being so used to picking up a pint from the grocery store. It definitely made the experience feel a little more special. If you're already a fan of Jeni's, it's worth stopping by when you're in Columbus. read more

The best ice cream I've had in a long time! Old school ice cream parlor with friendly faces and a bright feel. A vast array of flavors but nothing they don't execute. And I can say this with confidence as I sampled them all. Absolutely would recommend a trip to Jeni's! read more

So many creative flavors so little time! I sampled at least 4-5 flavors before I decided to get a signature bowl that allows you to get 3. The shop was completely empty when I came in so service was quick. Pretty straight forward, nothing that stood out but no complaints. read more
Have had Jenis many times it it never fails. My usual favorites are the Brambleberry Crisp, Coffee with Cream and Sugar, and the Wildberry Lavendar. Today I got two scoops, which contains one of my favorites - Bramberry Crisp, and a new flavor - Bastani Sonnati. The new flavor is basically a balance of saffron, rose water, and pistachio. Not a super strong taste, but still refreshing! Service is always great as they ask you what flavors you would like to try. read more

Came in here today with my wife and mother-in-law to get some ice cream and had an amazing time! If you're like me and the other 99% of Americans who love ice cream, you NEED to try Jeni's ice cream. I've had plenty of ice cream in the past and this is definitely the best I've ever had. The staff was super friendly and environment was so welcoming. The only downside was that there was nowhere to park and my father-in-law had to stay in the car while we ran in. Definitely come to this location when you're in the area next! read more

I always make a trip to Jeni's whenever I'm back in Ohio because it's my absolute favorite ice cream. We had a chance to try two of their limited flavors boozy eggnog and white chocolate peppermint in a waffle cone bowl. The bowl became a little hard to eat at the end so I would recommend just getting a waffle cone wedge. All of their flavors are great and you truly can't go wrong with any of them. Some of my favorites being gooey butter cake and brambleberry crisp They have some other locations through out the Midwest as well and would highly recommend making a trip if you're near a location. read more

Overall a good place to get ice cream. I like that they use local partners for their coffee. The flavors are quite unconventional and portions are small but I like the decor and atmosphere. Service was good, it was refreshing in this day and age to be greeted by someone that enjoys their job. The waffle bowl was a nice addition but tasted again a little unconventional, like salted caramel, which personally isn't my preference but was still good. read more

Jeni's is premium ice cream, rich with flavor. They are now allowing you to come inside to order (previously, you had to order by the window due to the pandemic) but still currently no seating. This may change shortly as they do have seating in the back, and restrictions are loosening up. I've tried most all flavors and will say that many are very RICH. The Texas sheet cake ice cream is potently chocolate. My favorites are the gooey butter cake, brown butter almond brittle, and salted peanut butter with chocolate flecks. The first two are very sweet, and the peanut butter is more mild. I typically get a waffle cone when I come in. Note that they are made in store and have a strong butter flavor to them. They're unlike most any waffle cones I have had. They also offer birthday cones. So, go and enjoy a scoop on your special day if you're nearby! read more

Jeni's is easily the best ice cream spot in Columbus! The aroma alone makes it nearly impossible to not stop in when walking down the street. It's always fun sampling the unique flavors, and nearly impossible to pick when it comes time to order. Today I went with Gooey Butter Cake and Brambleberry Crisp which were both decadent, creamy, and delicious. I love how the cups come with a waffle cone piece, too. read more
Jeni's has to be my favorite ice cream place around. They have a wide variety of flavors that are exchanged and switched around by season. I like this factor, I can always try something new. They allow you to sample flavors and the prices are decent. Staff is so helpful and always friendly! read more
I was in Columbus for three days for a conference and I came to Jeni's at least once a day. I tried several of their flavors and each one was divine. Jeni's has the waffle bowl which I have never seen before. Game changer. Ice cream will never be the same again. read more
