We decided to check out Loop & Lil's in downtown Lockhart. It was a Monday afternoon and it was pretty quiet inside. There were a bunch of people at the bar, with tons of open seating in the dining area. We ordered a beer and a cocktail. My gin cocktail was so refreshing and delicious! We ordered a small Greek salad and the Out of Towner pizza with no meat, sub mushrooms. Salad was great, everything tasted fresh and their croutons were so good and herby! As for the pizza, amazing! 10/10. It was so good I forgot to take a picture haha. The dough was light and fluffy, it had great leoparding on the bottom. They pesto was good and all of it together was wonderful! I also enjoyed their ranch too, had a dill flavor to it. Service was alright, but their food is the real superstar! Definitely recommend this place if you're looking for quality food!

I ordered with some teenage girls and it was ready about 30 minutes later. I know you can also order online. I would suggest if you have more than 2 people sharing to order another pizza or have a side salad as these are not huge pieces. We just got a pepperoni pizza- and it was actually super tasty! Our only issue was how greasy it was, even the bottom? I am not sure how that happened.... it was like they put butter under the pizza? And for that I would give them a 4.5 star rating. Overall, this was a good option for us in the area and I'd eat it again if we were in town on a Friday or Saturday night.

My husband tried the cheeseburger pizza and added jalapenos to it, I had a pizza with pepperoni, ham, sausage and drizzled with hot honey (WOW! Is all I can say!), the kids had regular pepperoni and sausage and we all shared some garlic knots. Everything was delicious and cooked perfectly! Definitely exceeded our expectations. Luckily our family members own a farm in Moravia so we will be able to visit again in the future. Will definitely be back as soon as we are in the area!

I built my own white pizza with garlic butter herb sauce, fresh mozz, mushrooms, and Italian sausage. It was pretty tasty. I was STARVING so maybe that amplified the flavor. This brings me to my next point... Pizza takes FOREVER. I clocked it and it was a full hour from the moment we ordered. This was particularly unpleasant because I was waiting in the car with my two bored and hungry toddlers. If you have kids, you get it. Not ideal. By the way, we tried to call ahead and no one picked up the phone (we tried a couple times). I should also add that the prices are very reasonable here. All I can say is wow. I ordered the creamy garlic pasta with chicken, spinach, bacon, and onions, along with a supreme pizza, and both were outstanding. The pasta was rich, creamy, and packed with flavor without being overly heavy. The chicken was tender, the bacon added the perfect savory bite, and the spinach and onions balanced everything beautifully. Then there was the pizza. This wasn't one of those pizzas where you have to hunt for toppings. Every slice was loaded with pepperoni, ham, sausage, olives, mushrooms, and vegetables. The crust had a great texture, the cheese was perfectly melted, and every bite was packed with flavor. One of the best parts is the value. The portions were generous enough that this takeout order will easily feed me for several days, which makes the quality even more impressive. As someone who wasn't expecting to discover amazing Italian food in Bastrop, Bastiano's was a pleasant surprise. If you're local or just passing through town, do yourself a favor and give them a try. I'll definitely be ordering again before my assignment is over.

The dough is thin with the perfect amount of chew to the crust . Even though these pies are all 12" personal sized , the pieces still fold like A Slice from NYC. The sauce is delicious , toppings are limited but amazing quality ! We had the pepperoni and sausage and the white pie and both were just incredible. The chef/owner is clearly passionate about what he creates and his Wife handles the front of the house friendly and poised. The Family that owns this place are just super cool. As a nice surprise bonus, the owner brought us both a small boba drink to sample. It was my first time trying a boba drink. We really appreciated getting to experience it.
