Looks like a popular local spot. Lots of people still having lunch at 2:00. I ordered the Italian but they were out of Italian bread so she put it on a hoagie roll. The sandwich comes with a pickle spear and a bag of Lays. It was a good sandwich but quite a lot of bread on that roll. My husband ordered a half turkey sandwich and a cup of tomato basil soup. He liked the sandwich but the soup was thin and too sweet. The service was super fast. We had our food in about 5 minutes. The place was pretty cute and looked clean. They had fresh lemons out for your water if you like it. They have a Blue Bell ice cream counter if you need a little sweet to follow. Variety abounds! We ate lunch here after visiting the Quilt Museum. So much to choose from. We ended up with a deli sandwich and a Caesar salad, both with a side cup of broccoli cheddar soup. Gal who took our order was very helpful when asked about menu items. We enjoyed the country comfy vibe. Reminded me of places I would eat at back home in Indiana. We met our dear friends here 1/2way tween Houston and San Antonio in the beautiful city of La Grange. We tried the pizza, soup, sandwiches, beer and iced tea. Came to visit some friends and decided to check out what appeared to be the pizza spot in town. Emphasis on "the" because... I think this might be the best they've got. And honestly? That's the saddest part. Let's start with the good: the dough was surprisingly great--crispy on the bottom, fluffy in the middle, a real Cinderella story of carbs. Unfortunately, the rest of the pizza was more like the pumpkin after midnight. Toppings? Straight outta the can. Sauce? Suspiciously tomato-adjacentish- I needed a microscope to find it. Seasoning? Nowhere to be found. I don't think a single drop of olive oil, garlic, or joy touched this pizza before it hit the oven. We had so much leftover pizza, not because we were full--oh no--but because nobody wanted more. It was that special kind of bland that makes you question your taste buds and your friendships. I took my sad little slices home out of guilt and culinary stubbornness. A little olive oil, garlic, Italian seasoning, and a spin in the air fryer later? Boom. Edible. Honestly, I should've gotten paid for the rescue mission. First, the staff is amazing! Called about bringing our 28 high schoolers after a competition and they said yes without hesitation, then welcomed us with open arms! Then, the pizza was amazing, the kids loved it, the adults said it was some of the best we've ever had. Flavorful, baked perfectly and the crust had amazing flavor! I was staying in La Grange for a couple of days and needed a place to eat at the first night I was there, and did not want to eat the typical fast food that was available out by the highway. A quick search on Yelp turned up Reba's, so that is what I decided to go for. The place is set up with counter service, so I stood back from the counter and read the menu a bit before making my order. The building is setup so that there is a nice dining area at the front with both tables and booths, then a bar along the left hand side of the back of the building where you go to make your orders. I think there was also a second dining room off to the back right of the building, but I wasn't paying too much attention to that. I ordered up some wings and the supreme pizza with a bit of a substitution. With the supreme, you get all ten of their toppings offered, but I am not a fan of olives so I asked that they be substituted with extra onions instead. One thing I was impressed with was that they spaced out the order appropriately. It has been my experience lately that a lot of places will take your order in that has obvious progression to it (appetizer, main, etc.) but completely ignore that progression and just bring everything out at once, which is never fun. Reba's got it right, and brought the wings out first. The wings were very good. I believe they bake them in the pizza oven, so they had a different texture and feel to them than your typical fried-in-oil wings, but it was nice. The sauce was the typical red-hot that is standard for wings (there was no choice on sauce... you get what they give you) but it was a nice heat level. There was a choice of dipping sauce, however. You don't get a choice, because you get both ranch and blue cheese, which is nice. The wings were also meaty, which is something I like with my wings. Too often I have had wings that are small and it feels like you are barely getting anything, but these were perfect. Great job! Then the pizza came out, and this was also good. The crust was solid and held up... I would almost say that this is not a true New York style pizza, because the crust wasn't thin enough... given the number of toppings I had, this is a good thing, so no complaints there. I only finished about half of the pizza, and brought the rest back to my hotel with me for breakfast. If I am spending the evening in La Grange, I would definitely consider going to Reba's for a bite to eat... I don't think you can go wrong with the place! read more

Stopped in here for a quick lunch during a busy work day, placed my order at the counter and had my sandwich and chips served to me pretty quickly. Saw lots of other people's pizzas being brought out to their tables and they all looked great, will definitely come back to try one of those in the future. Yummy! We love to stop here when in LA Grange. I had a single slice of pizza (Italian sausage) w a small side salad. Delicious! And tons of food for the money. Amazing food, we ordered a pizza and I got a sandwich, the portions are great and the food is just amazing. My sandwich was delicious, I got a turkey club and it was the best I've ever had. And the pizza, I mean I seriously cannot speak highly enough of this place. We drop in here every time we come to town because it's some of the best brick oven pizza anywhere. The pizza comes out fast but is always cooked to perfection. Their personal size is exactly the right amount for one. The atmosphere is as old town country as you can get. Feels like you're a thousand miles from home... unless you live here I guess. Haha Time seems to go by slower when your out here in the country. Love it! They recently started serving ice cream and other desserts! I had not seen that before. They have a dozen flavors of ice cream and I need to try them! Sweet Tea Rating: 8/10 The sweet tea is good! Nothing bad about it. Might could use some more sweetness to get it up to Chick-fil-A or Raising Cane's standard but it's definitely drinkable. We came to La Grange for a concert at The Bugle Boy, but first wanted to try out a place we've never been before. Oh my gosh, this place is a gem! Walking in takes you to a classic pizza joint with the large wooden tables and seats. We grabbed a menu and were pleased to see the variety of options. However, two grabbed our attention: The Pesto Specialty and the Plant, Choke, and Mater Specialty Pizzas. Once we made our decision, we headed over to the counter to order and the staff who took our order was extremely friendly and kind. We ordered both pizzas in the 10" Pee Wee size so we can share. The Plant, Choke, and Mater pizza has chopped eggplant, artichoke hearts, and sun-dried tomatoes while also sprinkled with feta cheese crumbles. Cooked with Mozzarella cheese, and marinara sauce. The Pesto pizza has sliced Italian sausage, black olives, sun-dried tomatoes and also sprinkled with feta cheese. This one is cooked with Mozzarella cheese and pesto sauce. Each pizza was fabulous. All the ingredients complimented each other and the overall flavors were magnificent! Each table has a centerpiece with salt, pepper, crushed red pepper, and grated Parmesan cheese. However, the pizza was so good, we skipped all that and just ate it exactly how it was served. And you know it's a great pizza place when you grab the slice off the tray and see that Mozzarella cheese stretch as you transfer it to your plate. Great service and the food was hot and fresh! We drove six hours from South Texas for the concert, but we wouldn't mind driving six hours just to check this place out again! Awesome job, Reba's! read more

We stopped here for dinner on a Friday evening around 7. It was busy but not packed. You order up front and then seat yourself. My friend and I split a medium Popeye pizza. It was good and well priced for around $13. It came with a variety of frictions toppings and after 2 slices each, we had pizza left over. Our friends split a pepperoni pizza and an order of garlic bread. I was surprised when the garlic bread was brought to our table and I saw it was just bread slices with cheese and seasonings. You would have thought a pizza place would have had legit garlic bread. All in all, if we were in the area again, I would stop by Reba's again.
