Our 17 year old cat, Tony, was in his final days. Our animal hospital was lined up with cars; parents and their pet kids waiting for an attendant to come and whisk them into their facility. Once inside, because of the virus precautions, we wouldn't be able to visit. We couldn't just drop him off and leave him to tremble in fear for his last few days. We brought him back home and cared for him in his own room. When the time came days later, we were told that a home pet euthanasia service wouldn't come into our home; virus precautions again. It was cold and snowing so a backyard or garage service was out of the question. Our last hope was Dr. Rope. We were under the false impression that she no longer performed this service. My wife was prepared to implore her to help but was pleasantly surprised when Danielle quickly volunteered an afternoon appointment. We already knew she was great because of her previous treatments of my large labradoodle's various problems. She was an angel of mercy, today, as she patiently, professionally and lovingly released Tony from his final challenge. This place is no different. 100 dollar check up for for an animal that is clearly dying, you a supper classy bae. I paid you 700 an hour in the past, and NO response. NO response to text. No response to email. No response to VM. I have zero respect for you or your business. No response after a week from this dope. I texted you, emailed you, and called your location. BEWARE...............I tried to develope a relationship with this Vet, so when I needed her to help my dogs in there final hours. Gus was very sick I called Rope. Dr Rope is AMAZING! I cannot recommend her and Whole Pet Wellness enough!!! From her nurturing presence to how communicative she is, she is just top notch. One of our kitties is very skittish and he quickly became trusting of her and hangs out on the living room floor with her, rather than hiding under the bed. She also finds the least expensive ways to treat our two kitties, as opposed to some of the other vets we've experienced over the years. Dr. Rope has cared for my dog, a cattle dog mix, for about 5 years. My dog tends to be scared of people & new situations so it is ideal to have a vet come to the house. So easy! I couldn't recommend this business more. Being new to Denver, I had to find a new vet for my two elderly chihuahuas. They are both showing signs of pain (arthritis), and the thought of dropping them off at a vet's office where I couldn't stay with them was unacceptable. I chose this business for the house calls, but I recommend it for the warm and competent care provided by Dr. Rope. She clearly cares about her clients. Sadly, not always true with vets. Dr. Danielle is amazing! We've been working with her for almost two years now and it has been a life saver. My cat gets really stressed and sick with travel, so it has been a huge help having the Dr come to us. She is fantastic with my cat and also great at communicating with me about what is going on or what we need to do next. Dr. Hunt visited my home for check-ups/vaccinations for all three of my pets (my dog, Portia, and two cats, Chloe and Nigel) and provided excellent care/information for them, despite two very uncooperative cats. Because blood draws/vaccinations were required for the cats, she brought an assistant who was extremely helpful in calming, corraling, and restraining the cats. Considering the visit was in my home, the cost was reasonable. I highly recommend Whole Pet Wellness, especially if your cats are as fearful of car rides and veterinarians as mine are. read more

Danielle is amazing! Around 7 months ago our old pup started having issues. Danielle helped us throughout this process. She made her recommendations and let us call all of the shots. She made herself available with quick responses all the times I was worried and text her. We were able to give him more love throughout the months until it was his time. Danielle and her assistant were firm, but gentle during their exam, resulting in a much less overall stressful experience than taking him to the vet. This was Hands down the best vet experience we have ever had. My dog Kona usually will not let the vet do an exam. He has pretty severe vet anxiety and the process is usually really hard. I was shocked that Dr Rope was able to do an exam and get three vaccinations done in one visit. I was optimistic when she pulled up and he was already wagging his tail. I highly recomend Whole Pet Wellness Veterinary Services to anyone who has a pet. Dr. Rope and her technician came to my house to give my cat, Lily, her check up and update her vaccines. They were very caring and gentle with her. She is pretty skittish and gets stressed out when I have to take her into the vet's office. I was referred to whole pet wellness by a local pet cemetery, the price was very reasonable and the Dr. was very nice when I was texting with her to set up an appointment but I ended up having to use someone else because she couldn't get her schedule straight and keep giving me different times and dates and everytime I agreed to a time she changed it. We were discussing Friday, she changed the time probably 3 times and she didn't get back to me very quickly the messages were hours apart. She then texted me thursday morning and said she read her schedule wrong and now couldn't come till Monday morning. I had to decline because my dog is in such bad shape we couldn't wait that long so I told her no thank you. She then texted me back 8 hours later and said "oh my gosh I read that wrong I met I can do it Friday (tomorrow) 10 to 10:15am" I had already moved on and found someone else to come by then. So she changed the time on me about 4 times and took hours to message me back and got her schedule completely wrong. I know she is probably very busy but I needed someone to help me put my dog down, this is a very hard thing to plan and it's sad and not fun and to have someone handle this situation like she did made it so much worse. The people I am going threw now made me the appointment for Friday like I wanted over the phone no confusion, a confirmed time and it took one phone call. It was a very disappointing and confusing encounter with Dr. Danielle Rope, I really wish it went differently. read more

Dr. Rope was great - quickly responded to my request for an appointment; asked lots of questions and gave suggestions until kitty was seen, including how to easily collect a urine sample. She was very gentle and thorough, calming my very timid cat. She gave a great deal of information during appointment re kitty's issues and even looked at foods and supplements I'm giving him to ensure they are appropriate. I have two very large dogs that hate to go to the vet. My 3 year old Rottweiler previously had to be medicated in order to go to the vet. She is terrified. Not with Dr Danielle! My dogs LOVE her, she made a usually super stressful time easy and relaxing. Having the Dr. Danelle come to the house kept my dogs calm and allowed them to be checked out and give shots in the comfort of there home surrounded by their family.
