The store has knowledgeable staff, and prices seemed competitive. We took samples home to check for color compatibility and then returned to order materials and set up installation. A couple of weeks later, we had carpet in the entire first floor replaced as well as flooring in our kitchen. Dan McFadden and a crew of four workers came and had the job done in two days. After the job was done, Dan met me at the house to go over everything he and his crew did. He even did a few extra things that had not been figured into the estimate. Dan was professional and thorough, and his work and the work or his men was excellent. I recommend Richmond Carpet and would recommend asking for Dan McFadden to install your flooring.

They brought it back to me about a month later and it still smelled horrible. They ruined my rug, the fringe was cut and ripped, the edges were rubbed off, there are now a thousand small white dots where they rubbed the color off. No one has barely even walked in this room. It wasn't dirty. The only thing wrong with it was a two foot by one foot area where my tiny dog started peeing. (The poor baby had no idea where she was anymore.). They sent a guy out to spray something on it but the odor was still there. The guy told me he would show his boss the pieces of fringe that kept falling off where they had been cut and that he would give me a call. I called a few times and left messages but figured since it was close to Christmas they were busy. When I called afterwards the owner told me I had waited too long and I must have something else that is peeing on my rug now. I live alone and have no pets. Horrible business. I would suggest not taking anything of value to them. My 100+ year old rug is trash now.

So happy that we did. We went in and the son of the owner was very professional and showed us some samples. We told him that we wanted it done soon. They were here within a few days to measure. Since it had to be ordered, it took a couple of weeks and we were called immediately when it arrived and date was set. We have had lots of flooring throughout the years. This is the best we have ever had. They did an excellent job installing and never wasted any time getting it done. We have had so many compliments. They also stand behind their product. Fir starters they measured incorrectly ordering over one hundred square feet extra. Jeff burchett, the owner verbally harassed me when I asked for a refund. He told me that if I didnt "play nice" with him that he wouldn't help me out because , "I already have your money and I di not care about your opinion" he proceeded to hang up the phone on me! After much debate between my contractor him and myself my contractor went to henry county flooring with our extra flooring where jeff wrote us a PARTIAL refund check. When I cashed the check (that was written for 280 but should have been 500) the check BOUNCED!! I have been harassed by the woman working there and still, several months later I have not received my money or even an apology. They now owe me 520 (20 extra for the check bounce fee) and they REFUSE to pay it unless I take them to court!!! I have shed so many tears and I been taken complete advantage of. It would be a huge mistake to allow henry county flooring to do any of your flooring needs.

He is extremely professional , friendly , and did an amazing job! He is the owner and it is very apparent that he takes great pride in his work . He didn't over charge at all and if anything I felt I owed him more as he cleaned extra things and didn't ask for more money. He deserved a large tip, and he deserves other people's business . You won't be disappointed . I found him on Yelp , as I like to do business with the smaller companies which really take pride in their work with good comments . The comments I read about him and his company were all very positive and I can see why . Very happy customer here and will be passing his name and company along to others . Hope this review helps!
