The worker told me to move to the side and started helping other customers. Wont be going back here and strongly advise you to look elsewhere at a store who appreciates you as a customer and knows how to provide customer service. Bought a valve and a week later it was leaking, called about the return and he said "what would [he] do with a leaky valve" then he said the best he could do was give me an O-ring and rebuild it myself. Wholesale Pool Mart is the best pool supply house i have ever been to! Not only are they amazingly knowledgeable, but the tested my old pump to confirm that it was actually dead and not just a deac starting capacitor. George sold me exactly what i needed and only what i needed, I came in thinking i would need a whole new pump and I only needed a new motor, gaskets and a bolt kit. george explained why the motor failed and how to prevent this new motor from suffering the same fate. this motor was only 4 years old and ir turns out the person who installed it, installed it did a very sloppy job and water was entering the the motor windings. I will be recommending to eveyone I know who needs pool supplies to support this great local business. of the many places i called first, includiong the national chain beginning with the letter L, who were very unhelpful and even gave me a bunch of attitude because i am an electrician NOT a pool service technician. read more

I called them to see if they serviced them. When he told me they didn't service them I asked if he could recommend someone. He said no. I asked again. Fantastic, family owned and operated business! I recently had my pool filter overhauled (by my pool guy) with a new manifold and filter grids, but yesterday the housing failed in spectacular fashion. WPM had a great price on a new unit, but they also allowed me to swap in my 3 month old grid assembly, saving me hundreds of dollars! While most businesses go out of their way to charge you as much as possible, WPM bent over backwards to save me money. Their staff is so knowledgeable, helpful and genuinely friendly, I can't even imagine going back to a chain store like Leslie's. They've got a massive inventory with every imaginable kind of parts and fittings in stock, where it seems Leslie's always has to order everything. The best. Great prices and super nice guys. It's kind of off the beaten path but worth the hunt We recently redid our pool and overhauled the pump and filter. Our first pump motor was the wrong voltage and we possibly burned it out as a result. They took it back no problem and gave us one that was correct. WOW! Installed the new motor and 2 days later it died. Again we took it back and they gave us one with .5 more horsepower no extra charge Can't beat this place! ThumbsUp. I hired an electrician to check voltage to ensure consistent power -- no issue with power. I returned to the store with receipt, original packaging and requested a replacement. Good prices but useless staff and office. Went up here to look for a new variable speed pump. Employee at counter was less than helpful but at least gave me a number of office to call to schedule appointment. What kind of service store can't make an appointment in store??? After several days got a call back and scheduled appointment for estimate. Very nice person came for estimate and looked at pool and equipment. Same office then sent estimate with wrong parts. Several days letter was sent new estimate. Great. Call back to schedule the work. No call back. Emailed. No email back. Called again. No answer and no call back. Emailed again. Nothing. Wtf?? I really needed a part for my Hayward heater, and after calling several places that do no carry very many parts including the big name pool stores. I was able to find Wholesale Pool Mart online and found that they were local. The first time I called and they had the part I needed to save the day for our pool party. Then I found the following day that I needed another part, and once again they came through and had the part I needed in stock again! This place is great and I will now have them as my go to pool and parts store. read more

We actually called a local business that carried the product, but they didn't return my calls or emails until late that night (and I called right when they opened). That's when I came across Wholesale Pool Mart, they answered on the first ring, got me what I needed, and were incredibly nice!! Had to purchase two new Pentair Amerilites for my pool and spa. This is the place for parts. Each light was about $70 cheaper than if you bought at Leslies or other pool place. The worker greeted me immediately after helping the last customer. Within minutes, he had the two lights brought up and my purchase was complete. Upon returning home, I discovered the spa light's factory seal on the light was not done properly. I brought it back the next day and the same guy exchanged it no questions asked. He could easily see Pentair sent the light out incorrectly and that the seal was no good. Bought lenses for my lights also (red and blue) for $4.99 each. Just purchased a used spa from a friend. Stumbled across this little gem and was pleasantly surprised. They have everything you could ask for. Good customer service and CHEAP prices. I wasnt really sure what I needed for my used spa so I asked the gentleman at the desk. He was very helpful and didn't try to sell me stuff I didn't need! I bought a spa vacuum from them for $20 less than Leslies and all the chemicals I needed including a few accessories for less than $50. Would've spent close to $100 at Leslies. I was referred to Wholesale Pool Mart by multiple people to purchase a pool filter. We just had our pool re-plasterd and made the decision to replace the filter two days before the start up service was going to begin on our pool. The place was busy but we received great service and purchased the filter. There was one problem, we needed it installed that day. I literally gave them last minute notice and the owner called his brother to do the replacement. I was amazed that they made every effort to help me out! When they came to my house to replace the filter, they offered to uninstall and take away the heater that I didn't need and the guys worked nearly 3 hours meticulously, not only replacing my filter but giving my whole system a revamp! They went OVER AND BEYOND and the before and after is shocking. These guys are professional and just won over a new customer and referral base. read more

Buyers beware... I purchased 4 bottles of Bio-Dex Protect-All Supreme PAO32 (together in one order). They used the USPS to ship; tracking # shows it was delivered, but it wasn't delivered to my address. The day after my package was supposed to have been delivered, I contacted the staff at MYPoolYard (AKA Wholesale Pool Mart Inc.), and for two weeks I was given the run-around by the woman who answered my calls. I was told they were in touch with the Post Office to put a trace on the package, but I have now learned they never contacted the post office. A reputable company would have sent another order out to me immediately, but these people refused to acknowledge the loss and send another order to me. The so-called "supervisor" Justin Pime was incredibly rude to me on the telephone. He refused to put me in touch with his superior, acting out in an unprofessional, childish manner, even threatening to block my telephone number so I couldn't call back to speak with his supervisor. read more
