Their tinned fish section is amazing! There were so many options. I didn't know what to get. The grocer helped me choose and I'm excited to try them! I think I went into a fugue state because when I left, I had over $200 in gourmet items! I picked up some amazing cheeses, meats, tinned fish, olive oil, and French butter. They also had my favorite olive oil. I bought 2 bottles. They were smaller bottles than what I would normally purchase, but per ounce it was still less expensive than my usual 750ml one. Saving money on my favorite consumables is a total score in my book! I will definitely be going again, but maybe I will have to put myself on a budget. The whole experience was wonderful!

My hubby and I had so much spending $400+ in 1 hour lol. We went throughout the entire store, picking out imported goods that looked good and fun to try. We got 2 types of caviar, beautiful chocolates, cans and cans of sardines, white fish, anchovies and everything we think we needed. I forgot to pick up French butter that everyone raves about so I will have to come back. Matty was so helpful and suggested food pairings to different things we bought so we'd have the best party of 2 assortment spread at home. What a treat and fun store to visit.

For food lovers like myself, there's no better place to discover true epicurean delights. From butters, pastries, and artisan breads to sardines, olive oils, cheeses, and caviar--this shop has everything you need to create an unforgettable dinner party or a beautifully curated gourmet picnic. I've been coming here for years, and it has long been a staple for me, and many others, especially during the holidays. It's one of those special places you return to again and again because you know you'll always find something exceptional. The service is consistently helpful, and the prices are exactly what you'd expect for thoughtfully sourced, imported items from afar. Respectfully reviewed.

Where has this place been my whole life?! We walked in hunting mizithra cheese (didn't have it today), and ended up wandering around like kids in a candy store except the candy is artisan cured meats, cheeses from around the globe, mustards, vinegars, olive oils, sauces, and all kinds of gourmet goodies. They literally stock over 2,500 items from Europe and beyond, with new arrivals showing up every week. The employee was super helpful and suggested a La Tur cheese from Caseificio dell'Alta Langa, (he said it's similar to triple cream Brie) and one of their French baguettes (baked in Montréal and shipped in frozen, how awesome is that???!!!!! ). We also grabbed a pistachio mortadella on a whim. Back home, we threw together a quick charcuterie board and let me tell you, that baguette was insane. 7 minutes in the air fryer at 350F and out came what might honestly be the best baguette I've ever had. Crispy on the outside, pillowy soft inside, paired with that La Tur (which I normally don't even like Brie-like cheese) and boom: total foodie epiphany. This place really is a food lover's playground. Whether you're stocking up for a special board or just want to explore weird and wonderful flavors you can't find at the usual grocery store, it's worth a stop. Honestly already plotting my next haul. Highly recommend dropping by if you're into good food and great finds.

I've been supporting this business for about two years now, spreading the word, and commuting quite a ways to get my preferred bread baking flour..... HOWEVER, with time, I found expired or near expired ingredients on the shelves and not the reaction I expected when I brought it to their attention. Even with all the social media hype, it seems that certain products are not moving off the shelves quickly enough. They agreed to special order certain varieties of flour for me but I had to persistently follow-up; the level of customer service promised or implied isn't what I experienced. This is a great little warehouse with lots of goodies, and I'll continue to pop in when I'm in the area, but I feel they fell short in aligning with the type of customer and home chef/baker who values freshness and quality.

What a hidden gem! I've heard about this spot for a while and didn't really know what to expect. It's in a warehouse type building, so there's not much signage. It's pretty bare bones inside, but there are shelves and shelves of AMAZING products you can't find anywhere else. I did like two solid laps in the store before actually shopping because I was in awe of what they had to offer. An employee came over and asked if I needed help and honestly, I didn't really know what I was looking for, but I told her I was interested in some sort of Italian chocolate treat. She picked out these cookies for me that I think have changed my life. I would upload a picture but the bag may or may not have already been fully consumed. They are called Pan di Selle! They've got pastas, sauces, candies, butters, jams, and sardines galore! They also have baking supplies for making bread for any sourdough people out there! I ended up getting the bag of cookies, a bag of pasta and a little jar of pesto. I can't wait to cook them up! I definitely think this would be a fun place to shop for the foodie in your life. Prices are not too bad, depending on the item. I can't wait to come back to do some holiday shopping! The inside of the store is very spacious which makes for a pleasant shopping experience.

Great selection of canned products, with a vast selection of just about everything under the sun! We picked some nice caviar and all the fixings, made for a delicious afternoon treat. Not something I have the budget for weekly, but a nice treat.

Wonderful grocery store with a huge selection! They carry brands and items that are hard to find elsewhere. Don't pass up under frozen baguettes and croissants, they are imported and absolutely delicious! I always stock up on their pasta, sauces, and meats in the freezer, as well of their cans of tuna and sardines! Prices are high, but considering the novelty of the items and the quality it is worth the splurge! Plenty of free and easy parking and the staff was also very friendly and helpful, highly recommended if you are looking to cook a special meal!

    A plethora of goods!

A fun little shop with unique, curated items that you may not find in your average grocery store! It's accessible through a pretty empty side lot with plenty of parking. There was a decent amount of foot traffic inside and we had no issues with parking. Once inside, it feels like you are inside a large warehouse with racks and tables of curated goods. You can expect to find goods ranging from all your specialty charcuterie needs (multiples fridges against one wall with lots of cheeses, pate, meats as well as olives, crackers, jams) to items that you may want to experiment with in your home kitchen. They have a wide selection of dried pasta shapes, olive oils and even a selection of jars of duck fat, beef tallow, butters. If you're just looking for some fun snacks, they have things ranging from imported shortbread crackers to foie gras chips. They also have a selection of some Asian goodies -- but other than maybe some special shoyu you can probably get these elsewhere in a grocery store within the price mark up. Only giving it one less star because for the average consumer things might be on the pricier side but great place to explore for special occasions, gifts, or if you just want to be a bit experimental with your cooking/food! Definitely stop by if you love a good charcuterie spread!

Located in an industrial strip building at the unnoticeable corner of Lankershim and Sherman Way, this spot is a hidden gem in the Valley. With imported and specialty food ingredients not readily found in mainstream grocery stores, I shop here for all of my favorite European staples: butter, croissants, pasta, chips, crackers, chocolates, and even seasonal items like fresh truffle. These items are not only elevated in quality, but also taste. While some of their products can be found in other specialty shops, Epicurus Gourmet offers everything under one roof and often at slightly better prices. The staff is also very helpful and will guide you in locating items throughout this spacious warehouse market. If you like traveling for not just sightseeing but also for the food, shopping here feels like a little culinary trip. My meals definitely tast better with ingredients purchased at Epicurous Gourmet.

Stopped here for the first time after seeing it on my feed on IG. They had stuff from all over which was so great walk through. The employees there were very knowledgeable and super friendly. I got some butter, squid ink pasta and a baguette made in France! I can't wait to try all my exported items.

Unfortunately, this is the only place where I got scammed! Asked multiple times & made sure the person at the meat section understood that I want goat feet, not lamb. Found out those were lamb feet when my whole house started to smell. Waste of not only those feet, also loads of spices. Asked if they have goat vuri (tripe), he said yes & gave me nari (small intestines). I had no idea a Bangladeshi store would even carry those. Trashed after thawing. Because it was a chunk of iceberg when he cut those & I had no idea. He knew clearly what I was looking for & yet sold me that junk for a lot of money. It is totally unacceptable & immoral to scam anyone (forget fellow Bangladeshi). Not only they lost a potential customer, but also now they have this review & I'll make sure to inform everyone I know to avoid this place. So many other Bangladeshi stores around there to choose from (I won't name any so it doesn't look like I'm either promoting or trying to denounce this place to help any other stores around). The hand roll bar was empty since it was late in the afternoon but too early for dinner. I promised the sushi chef there that I would return. So I went back today with a couple of friends.
