I have worked customer service for almost 30 years in home services. The crew doing the work did not have fancy matching uniforms. errors were made during the process, as can happen with any service. From what I saw, the crew worked well together. They behaved and communicated in a professional manner while at my fiancées home. When a problem arose, they jumped on it to resolve it quickly. When I expressed concerns, they were addressed in a professional manner and Chris, Brie, and Matias were always attentive and aimed at providing a positive experience. Chris owned all aspects of the job from start to finish. He took ownership for his crew's performance and made sure I was satisfied with all aspects of the service. He is a small locally owned and operated business owner. His team did a great job and I am very satisfied with the results. I would use their services again without hesitation, and I will actively refer them to friends and family. Jobs do not always go smoothly. For me, it is not about If mistakes are made, it is about the resolution and final product. Standing by your work, taking pride in your team, and doing the right thing seem to be traits in small supply these days. South Sound Structures and Chris exhibited those traits from start to finish and that is why I will be happy to work with them again.

We purchased a home ( a flip of an older home) from Centurian Properties in Lakewood while living in New York. Everything seemed fine until we paid a home lnslector to check out the place. There were no less than a dozen items he addressed that were MAJOR issues. For instance a non working furnace that they did not disclose. and an underground oil tank (again not disclosed until our agent noticed where they sawed off the pipe. Regardless we drew up an addendum agreeing to purchase the house on the condition that certified and bonded agencies replace the Furnace and decommission the oil tank as well as fix the other major items. Fast forward to present day. Our Furnace has no filters and no one pulled a permit to even install the new unit. The electrical system does nkt support enough power to run multiple devices and the lights dim whenever the washing machine or television turn on. The outdoor receptacles don't have enough power to run a saw through a 2x4. Instead of removing the old electrical system when they ran a new one, they just used blank plates over the old outlets and installed new ones next to them. The upstairs bathroom floor sags with no support under it They removed the center of a chimney In the house but left It in the basement and attic. In the kitchen and downstairs bathroom they remkved windows and covered that space of the wall but did not in$tall any iMulation '.lnd didn"t even put wood or ~iding over the $pace for the downstairs bathroom window. The main water line burst days prior to closing yet they did not mention it. Fortunately our realtor went to check on the property and noticed it prior to closing or we would have arelved to a flooded yard and a huge bill. There are other smaller items like the unfinished and unpainted wdges of molding and tile work, but I think I've made my point. I've spoken to ex employees and other buyers and they all have had the same experience. Apparently they would rather pay the fines required for not pulling permits or using bonded skilled laborers. This is a shady business only looking to turn a quick profit off of cheap labor and they are dishonest. Buyers beware!

Prestige Flooring came through for us in a big way. We were moving into a house and we wanted to…read morehave the old carpet replaced upstairs before we moved all our stuff in. A week before we needed to move they said they would be able to start right away. Other flooring services said they needed 1-2 weeks before they could start. We were getting about 1250sqft of LVP installed in 4 bed rooms and a laundry room. After signing the invoice, Vlad's team demoed and prepped all the subfloor two days later. The day after demoing, they said they got the material they needed and went hard at work getting flooring installed. We communicated in advance that there were squeaks in the floor, we marked some of those squeaky locations for them, during the demo and prep they found more squeaking that they fixed for us. Their communication and pricing was amazing. Vlad kept in contact with us every other day via calls and texts. Any questions I had were quickly addressed by him and his team. Some other great details that stood out to me: One of their guys helped me move a heavy package upstairs without me even asking them. They saw I was about to move it and offered on their behalf During prepping they needed to take off all the doors and rehang them. They were able to rehang them better than when we moved in They did a good job at helping clean up a lot of the dust from the carpet and demo. They couldn't get all the dust as some of it required a mop The installers they have work fast and are quite experienced They labeled and organized all the baseboards/trim they took off and neatly put it in the garage. We chose to reuse it and they put it all back well. We just need to repaint it. You could choose to have them replace them and repaint them if you want. We are looking to have our downstairs floor done by them in the future. I was also pleased to learn that the Prestige also does painting at a very competitive price. We'll be looking to have them paint in the future as well. Tips for customers - Make sure you look at floor samples that include the seams, some samples may only show you a full piece so you may not see what the pattern looks like. Some lighter LVP wood samples may have sharp seam contrasts Mark all the areas on your floor where there are squeaks. After your floor is demoed, walk around on it and find more squeaks and mark them with an X using a marker so they are fixed up Get everything you want done in writing and signed off on Make sure the flooring service you go with includes a clause about an installation warranty in your contract. My house is older, and as they removed the old aluminum siding we discovered the house would need to be wrapped in MDF(?) plywood. Some parts of the house only had framing under the siding. Our replacement windows were ANDERSON WINDOWS at a fraction of the cost Anderson asked for. Every day/night the house was left water safe and secure. Each window was properly flashed, properly caulked. After the plywood, a new fresh water liner, and then the siding.... The workers were delightful, hardworking and left each day with a clean yard and work area. After siding, the house was painted-- no oversprays. My garage doors and front patio were included in getting painted. This company is top quality, top notch. Prices are reasonable. 5 Stars from us!

The sink on the downstairs kitchen that they installed started to leak. We thought it was the pipe upon further inspection we saw it was the actual sink ( stainless steel), it seems while installing it they cracked it and instead of getting a new sink that I paid for, the workers patched it. It is so stuck that instead of being able to unhook and release it, we tried to dissolve glue with everything we could find, now unfortunately, we are going to have to break the stone to be able to change out the sink. So there will be an expense that I shouldn't have to bear. As I said it took awhile but the glue finally gave. I will never give them my business nor will I recommend them. Shoddy work.
