In 2022 because of Covid I wanted to do everything over the phone, including picking out the product as Albert showed us choices over the phone and guided my husband as he measured where the countertop would be installed. I don't think handling things in this manner would have ended up in a successful install the first time, but it did because we worked with Albert at Why Not Granite. We highly recommend them.

It is so stuck that instead of being able to unhook and release it, we tried to dissolve glue with everything we could find, now unfortunately, we are going to have to break the stone to be able to change out the sink. He was easy to reach and very direct, which gave me confidence to move forward. Overall, the work was good. The flooring price was fair, but the painting cost felt high. The biggest issue was communication once the project started. I made the prepayment, met to sign the contract, and did my part. But after that, getting a response became extremely difficult. Communication with the point of contact (I won't name) was almost non-existent, which was unacceptable. The workers did their job, but since they do not speak English, any questions or clarifications had to go through the point of contact. This made resolving even small issues frustrating. On top of that, I asked for a little leftover baseboard paint for touch ups. I was told I would get it after the project was done, but it has now been four months and I still have not received anything. Cleanup was also lacking. Like other contractors I have used in the past, they left dust and debris behind, and I had to do a lot of follow up cleaning after they left each day. Prestige Flooring will get the job done, and Vlad himself was responsive at the beginning, which stood out compared to other contractors. But be prepared for poor communication during the project and less than ideal cleanup afterward. Professional service includes timely communication, not making the customer feel like they need to nag or beg for a response. That was the most disappointing part of the experience.

I developed a great rapport with the owner while I was trying to determine what I wanted. Took several months before the kitchen was ready for the cabinets due to the contractor that insurance assigned and his prolonged work schedule (drywall, floor, ceiling and electrical all had to be completed before cabinets were ready to order. Finally when cabinet order time came, owner honored the prices quoted from March and returned my many calls between my 1st trip to the showroom and when I FINALLY ordered. He even came to my home to double check the measurements from plan of the contractor since LLC (his group) was not installing. Cabinet swing, and all things that I didn't even think about were plan checked &confirmed . Very happy with my cabinets when they arrived and was far happier with Lakewood Cabinet Center than the contractor doing the majority of the kitchen renovation. Will more than likely use LCC again with a bathroom cabinet update. They assisted with my countertops as well

Terrible customer service from the beginning! We placed the…read moreorder and put down deposit for the project. We were told that in a day or 2 someone will contact us to make appointment for measurements and template. The measurements is expected to be in about 1.5 weeks. Then approximately another 1.5 weeks for installation. We waited almost a week until we got the call from Kari. Kari asked if we have the cooktop yet. We told her that it will be onsite in 3 days. She refused to schedule an appointment, insisting it's "company policy" that we MUST have the cooktop onsite in order to simply schedule an appointment. And the appointment will be 2 weeks out from the time of scheduling. Also she said it will cost extra for teardown the existing countertop (which we expected). But she refused to give an estimate for the additional cost. She even said that we can cancel the order if we don't like it. This company is VERY difficult to work with from the beginning!! It is giving us the preview of more troubles to come down the road if we continue the order.
