I hired Prestige Flooring to install LVP flooring and paint my ceiling. The owner, Vlad, responded much better than other contractors I got estimates from. He was easy to reach and very direct, which gave me confidence to move forward. Overall, the work was good. The flooring price was fair, but the painting cost felt high. The biggest issue was communication once the project started. I made the prepayment, met to sign the contract, and did my part. But after that, getting a response became extremely difficult. Communication with the point of contact (I won't name) was almost non-existent, which was unacceptable. The workers did their job, but since they do not speak English, any questions or clarifications had to go through the point of contact. This made resolving even small issues frustrating. On top of that, I asked for a little leftover baseboard paint for touch ups. I was told I would get it after the project was done, but it has now been four months and I still have not received anything. Cleanup was also lacking. Like other contractors I have used in the past, they left dust and debris behind, and I had to do a lot of follow up cleaning after they left each day. Prestige Flooring will get the job done, and Vlad himself was responsive at the beginning, which stood out compared to other contractors. But be prepared for poor communication during the project and less than ideal cleanup afterward. Professional service includes timely communication, not making the customer feel like they need to nag or beg for a response. That was the most disappointing part of the experience. read more

Prestige Flooring came through for us in a big way. We were moving into a house and we wanted to have the old carpet replaced upstairs before we moved all our stuff in. A week before we needed to move they said they would be able to start right away. Other flooring services said they needed 1-2 weeks before they could start. We were getting about 1250sqft of LVP installed in 4 bed rooms and a laundry room. After signing the invoice, Vlad's team demoed and prepped all the subfloor two days later. The day after demoing, they said they got the material they needed and went hard at work getting flooring installed. We communicated in advance that there were squeaks in the floor, we marked some of those squeaky locations for them, during the demo and prep they found more squeaking that they fixed for us. Their communication and pricing was amazing. Vlad kept in contact with us every other day via calls and texts. Any questions I had were quickly addressed by him and his team. Some other great details that stood out to me: One of their guys helped me move a heavy package upstairs without me even asking them. They saw I was about to move it and offered on their behalf During prepping they needed to take off all the doors and rehang them. They were able to rehang them better than when we moved in They did a good job at helping clean up a lot of the dust from the carpet and demo. They couldn't get all the dust as some of it required a mop The installers they have work fast and are quite experienced They labeled and organized all the baseboards/trim they took off and neatly put it in the garage. We chose to reuse it and they put it all back well. We just need to repaint it. You could choose to have them replace them and repaint them if you want. We are looking to have our downstairs floor done by them in the future. I was also pleased to learn that the Prestige also does painting at a very competitive price. We'll be looking to have them paint in the future as well. Tips for customers - Make sure you look at floor samples that include the seams, some samples may only show you a full piece so you may not see what the pattern looks like. Some lighter LVP wood samples may have sharp seam contrasts Mark all the areas on your floor where there are squeaks. After your floor is demoed, walk around on it and find more squeaks and mark them with an X using a marker so they are fixed up Get everything you want done in writing and signed off on Make sure the flooring service you go with includes a clause about an installation warranty in your contract. Nick had the best communication, knowledge, and provided me the best quote very quickly for the job. This was a two day project to move my furniture and rip up the old carpet and subfloor on the first day, and to complete the install on the second day. We hired Prestige to tear down 2 walls in our kitchen, rip out all our old flooring, replace it with hardwood, add new baseboards, and paint everything. It was a big project and our two main requirements were that is was done well and quickly. Vlad was on top of it from day one- driving to Bellevue twice in one day at one point to show us flooring and discuss our design with us. He and his crew started a few days after we signed the contract and continued to arrive early in the morning and work until late to finish as quickly as possible. He was amazing at communicating and kept us updated the entire way. Their prices were reasonable and their work was good. They were extremely respectful and showed us how grateful they were for our business. I do especially want to shout out Vlad- he was great to work with throughout this entire process. Prestige just finished installing new laminate flooring in our home. The work is exceptional; I'm thrilled with how it came out. The team of installers were super efficient, organized, friendly and kept things clean as they went. When they left, other than some sanding dust (to be expected), there was no visible sign that they had been here other than a beautiful new floor. Dust/dirt EVERYWHERE. The end result of the install looks great, the team did a great job in that regard. They kept the scrap outside in a neat pile, and seemingly cut everything outside. They were very nice and helpful when I had questions, so all in all a great company that we went through Costco for. But holy sh*t...there is dust and dirt everywhere in the house. They wiped down the newly installed floor, but I think they got dust into my HVAC (which was not on the entire day due to all windows and front door being open during install). So now my 3 year old is up all night coughing horribly and I feel like I have about half an inch of dust on my skin and in my lungs. I'm pretty sure all cutting was done outside, so I have no idea how a layer of dirt was on top of quite literally every inch of the house. Prestige was great to work with - I had them do a challenging flooring install in my condo (where I both live and work, and that has no garage or other outside storage space available, so the installers had to work around furniture as it was moved from room to room), and I am very happy with the result. Communications were clear and prompt, for the most part the team was very responsive. The price was very reasonable, with no unwelcome surprises. The only slight minus was that the flooring install team did not seem to have been briefed on the nature of the project - they were initially unhappy about the fact they would have to work around furniture (which had been clearly communicated to Prestige, and an upcharge paid to offset any large furniture moves) - and their English was limited, which made communicating difficult. That said, they definitely knew what they were doing and put in a couple very long days to make sure the project was done right. I would definitely use them again! read more
