I wish they did a bottomless food option for dinner too that would be insanely amazing. Please try everything with pork belly, shrimp toast was omg ! Spring rolls , French toast , waffles , Brussel sprouts , steak bao buns literally every single thing was so good. I don't eat tofu by my friend loved it ! The thai tea was good I do wish it was a bit sweeter. Please get the spritz's they're delicious basically their take on a mimosa. Come hungry and ready to have a good time the music was sooo good too and the resturant is very family friendly

Our bartender was friendly and funny. 5th Element cocktail - i don't know if the caramelized pineapple was forgotten but this drink was nothing but sour. No. Just no Stir fried rice noodles - Salty and incredibly greasy. The only saving grace was the sweet sausage, which offered a welcome reprieve from the torture my taste buds were in. I didn't even take the leftovers, a practically inedible dish. Given the sky high prices, you'd expect much better than what was received. First and last time here.

Omg what an experience…read more Truly some of the best food I've had in a very very long time. The shrimp dumplings really stole the show for me. They were melt in your mouth good and I really enjoyed that the shrimp was the main flavor I could taste in the filling. Sometimes that can get lost. The dough itself too was rich and full of flavor, as well as the sauce on it!!! The lamb tikka was also delicious. The lamb was cooked to absolute perfection and that paired with their rice? YUM!!!! The ambiance of the place was also super unique and cool, we got sat downstairs which I was a bit hesitant about because of the no windows but it was such a vibe and I really loved it. The service was fantastic. Our waiter gave us many recommendations and explained many dishes which was super helpful. Our table was always clean and our water cup always full. If you can come here I definitely recommend

We were seated fairly quickly in the outdoor area. We ordered from the tasting menu - Kandahar platter ($98). A bit pricey for the price of 2 but came with a good variety. Portions are decent but not worth the price Anar 3/5 Chai lemonade 3/5 Beef mantoo 5/5 Sambosa trio (beef, shrimp, spinach) 5/5 one stew 4/5 one kebab 3/5 one veggie 3/5 palow: caramelized rice with chef's spices 4/5 sheer berenj: coconut rice pudding, pistachios 3/5 Overall I'd come back, but due to pricing I'd say it's not an all the time type of restaurant.

Now I'm not even gonna lie--the prices have definitely gone up a bit. The extra large crabs were $109 a dozen, so I grabbed a half dozen... and BABY... when I tell you those crabs did NOT disappoint!! They were BIG, heavy, and FULL! Not the prettiest things either--rusty, ugly little shells--but don't let that fool you. Honeyyyy, they were sweet, juicy, and packed with meat! I absolutely indulged with zero regrets. And let's talk about that butter I ordered on the side... whew! That just took everything over the top. Shoutout to the guys at Jesse Taylor--they did their thing! Great crabs, great flavor, and always worth the stop when I'm in the area. I'll definitely be back... even if it's just once a year! If you're nearby, go ahead and check them out--they're worth it, for real.

I went up to a vendor and spoke to a young guy working there, but he just looked at me and didn't respond. I even asked, "Did I do something to you? Do you know me?" He mumbled something and walked away. What made the moment even sadder to me was that he was the only brown-skinned worker there, and as another brown-skinned person, it hurt feeling ignored and unwelcome by someone who looked like me. I understand everyone has off days and there are times people may not feel like coming to work, but when working with the public, customer service should still matter. A simple greeting and basic respect can really change a customer's experience.

We decided that, rather than try to find a restaurant for all the extended family in for the graduation, we would host a private dinner at the Airbnb prepared by a professional chef. We interviewed a number of chefs and Meal Mate was by far the best. Most creative ideas, most responsive, and best enthusiasm for the project! We signed with them months ahead of the date, and as it drew closer, I started getting reminders from Chef Jamie. Some questions, more ideas. On event day, Chef Jamie and Chef Nathan showed up exactly on time and started getting to work. First, the table was set beautifully with linen napkins and personalized menus/place cards. As guests arrived, we were all treated with a specialty cocktail and delightful appetizers. And then dinner. Wow!! Maybe the best ribeye steak ever. Wonderfully seasoned and incredibly tender. The sides were all great but that steak - oh, my lord. Dessert was a matcha tiramisu and it was the perfect finish! Throughout the night, the service was so smooth and then, before we knew it, the kitchen was cleaner than when they arrived and they were off. Like I said, I can't say enough great things about Meal Mate. Book them for your next event!!
