Pros: Place seems very nice and clean the man who greeted me was also friendly and accommodating. Cons: Massage therapist was not really skilled I have gone to other places and been so relaxed I fell asleep and had been feeling way better coming out of my massage. I've been here a couple of times and I've had good experiences. However, today I had another girl give me a deep tissue massage and she was amazing !! Her name was "yo-yo." I'm a very tense person and get bad knots by my shoulders and neck and she did the best I could ask for . I need a lot of pressure and some people can't provide that , but she did . Here we go again- I called at 12:30 to make an appointment with Cici. The man who answered the phone said she would be available at 1:30. I showed up at 1:26 and he asked if I had an appointment. I told him yes and it was with Cici at 1:30. He finds my name on the list and checks me off. He puts me in the chair to wait. All of a sudden this man comes up with the water and grabs the lotion to start massaging me. I told him I had an appt with Cici. He says ok and walks away. The man who took my money and charged me comes back and tells me Cici won't be available for an hour and if I want the man to do my massage. Why wouldn't he say something before he took my money? This place is fantastic! You are greeted with a smile and a "welcome". Two visits so far, had female first visit and male second visit. I was impressed on both occasions but I think I will stick with Mark. Had an hour massage and from now on I will choose the 90 minute one! They offer a stamp card and after your 10th visit, you get $20. Off! The price is so reasonable and worth every dollar. I understand that prices may go up with these circumstances but the guy in the reception was so annoying and rude. I've been going here for the past year, I have never been late to my appointment but every single time their massage was at least 15min late which I never complained but yesterday when I was late 4 minutes the guy in front was complaining that we are late. Then he was pressuring us to upgrade our service selection. We politely decline but he continues mentioning the cons about it and kept insisting to get a higher priced service. By far the worst experience ever,the masseuse was yawning throughout the first 30 minutes. I had to ask her to put more pressure because she seemed not to have any techniques and kept rubbing the same place totally out of sequence for proper massage. After walking in I paid $30 for 1 hour foot/deep tissue, the lady at the desk asked if I wanted a light, medium, or hard massage, I replied hard. And it was great, I walked out feeling 100% better than when I walked in and continued my weekend feeling great. Ehh. I was looking for a good massage. I didn't get it. I had Tina. I let her know I wanted a firm massage. She's clearly not a trained masseuse. It felt like she just watched others and mimicked their actions. She also thought that a firm massage meant pushing all her weight on me with her elbows I know that's a massage technique when used correctly--but it wasn't used correctly here. The quality of the massage is my main complaint. But I wasn't thrilled checking in for the massage and being asked to pay for it before I had it--like why?! It also creates a weird vibe when you come out and they are hovering over you so you will go back and tip after you already paid up front. They obviously wouldn't have to do this if you paid after the service like every other spa! Also, I had a 60 minute massage. She started late and ended early. I know I wasn't missing much given the bad massage techniques but the massage already felt overpriced at $50. Wow...what an oasis in the middle of South Whittier. I went here because I had a Groupon but I'll definitely be back. The environment was so relaxing and the girl did a great job! Omg I had I worst massage of my life. I wanted to leave screaming. This older man was my masseuse. I told him about 5 times to ease up, I don't think he understood English. My body is in horrible pain and bruised. I am not sure where he went to school but his technique was way off. I got the foot and body massage combo and will be making this my regular massage place. The staff are good with English and Chinese-speaking customers. When I entered the establishment everything was very clean, spacious, and well-decorated with guest privacy in mind. The receptionist greeted me and asked my massage pressure preference of soft, medium, or hard which she communicated with my masseuse. My masseuse checked in with me periodically throughout the massage, asking me if everything was okay. For the body massage they use warm oil and hot stones and it is much more than the over-the-sheet massage you get at other massage places. I will definitely be coming back! read more

I got the special which is a foot scrub ($5 extra) foot massage for 30 minutes, and the medium massage for 60 minutes. All for $50 if you take cash. You pay $5 more for the foot scurb and... $5 more if you pay with a credit card. So take cash and save $5. It was a last minute trip to here, they took me and a friend right away. Went to try this place because I had a groupon. The massage was not that good in the first place. Felt very half fast and it was loud inside. The walls are paper thin so you can hear every single thing in the room next to you. By the end of my massage, the lady who did my massage and the front desk man were waiting in front of the door as if to make sure that I left a tip. As I'm leaving the tip on my card, the lady who did my massage waited behind me to see how much I was leaving her. The front desk man helping me then raises his hand and yells to her "FIVE" to indicate to her that I was leaving a five dollar tip. I felt as though this was very rude and annoying.
