Mike and Hailey completed some work at my home in Nolensville on 8/23/26. They installed 3 ring cameras, mounted a large 75" television to my rock fireplace, and a couple of other minor fixes. Unlike other handyman services I tried to use earlier, they were communicative, kept me posted on their arrival, showed up as scheduled, were professional, friendly and very knowledgeable on all the task they performed. It was a Summer Sunday afternoon that I contacted yelp for quotes for a ceiling fan install and electrical outlet issues. I was also having a HVAC problem and had no A/C. I had a few text responses but no one was available on the weekend. I had purchased a ceiling fan to try to install the fan myself, but I needed an electrician to come out anyway to diagnose the outlets. Luckily the stars aligned and a received a text back from Mike with Wickman Contracting and he was available! He was currently working on another project and luckily was installing the same type of ceiling fan I had purchased. Afterward, he came out with Hailey and they were very friendly and professional. Hailey worked on assembling the fan and getting it ready while Mike diagnosed the outlet issues which were tripping randomly. I have had the issue for a long time and he eventually found the culprit which was a bad outlet in the garage. He replaced it by luckily having the same outlet receptacle with him. I was truly blessed that day! Mike then installed the fan and it worked perfectly and all my outlet problems are gone. He also bailed me out of shoddy work done by another contractor installing an ice maker. Most recently a bathroom you grade to new vanity. Each time required decisions to go the route of a shortcut but always did the right thing for us. Those ethics are sometimes hard to find in a handyman/contractor. I'm so happy with meticulous and clean work Wickman did in exterior painting my home that I had them do some kitchen remodeling and my kitchen now looks amazing and is easier for me to work around my kitchen.
