I'm a single mother with 2 children who relies heavily (like most do) on my vehicle. in march I took my van to this shop to have transmission fix. they could get it in quick and it was $500-$1000 less then other local shops. boy I wish I would have spent the money. my vehicle was throwing codes like crazy since November of 23 but driving fine. the codes even cleared after I added some transmission fluid snd I passed inspections. Come one week befor my bday and the transmission decided to just quit. I get it to atals and the cost was $3000 ( which I had to borrow. the entire week I was told it'll ready tomorrow. I had to call every day to get any information on progress. i only started daily calls after they had van for almost a week and told me it would be ready tomorrow. Well almost another week of it will be ready tomorrow did I finalvshow any frustration in my communication with the. One of the times i called the mechanic was sent to , I assume owner Cory, house to get a lawn mower. They did this in the middle of work day instead of finishing my van. Once completed the van leaked fluid on the ride home, called them and took it back in. The took drive for eclipse and was stuck in traffic where the engine became warmer than normal. I relaid this wring by saying it got over heated. I just meant to went over where it normally always sits at. Anyways they blamed trans issue on p0430 I believe which is cat converter had that checked and guy ran full diagnostic. Said cat wasn't in great shape but in no way damage transmission. Told arak who said bring it back yet again they ran own diagnostic (again) and now came up with p0420. Which is a fan error code. Atlas used this code to cancel my warranty, even though they ran codes ever other time, and swore up and down that cat converter case was the issue. Git second opinion they said trans shot, tge p0420 had nothing to do with trans issue, one can had low voltage so it wasn't always turning on but in no way would have caused this damage. Called Cory about it. He had to have employee pretend in text it was him and continue to swear up and down I messed up van. So I'm trying still to get the work done or money back. Prefer money back. Cory did offer to fix it if I got all work done to clear codes, codes that shoulda been there since march when i first brought van to them and they argeeed to do work. Cory was not going to include another warranty if he had his guy fix it again. Though warranty was erroneously invalidated. Besides codes they had bme look under van when it was raised and pointed out fluid leaking. He believed from coolant line going to trans or something like that. He touched what looked wet. Once home I touched area and it was not wet at all. it was greesy but no moisture on my fingers. I was furious! Now I am taking other actions to get my money back or work done, though I don't trust them what so ever

Dan contacted me in the morning and they got right on it. An hour or so later he called and said the pump was bad and there were numerous transmission codes. He gave me a quote and was upfront with me that it may actually be more once they tear into the transmission. Understandably, this wasn't something that could be fixed within a day or two. I told him we would have to have it towed to Illinois and then rent a car to get back. I tried to pay them for diagnostics but they refused and said it was their policy to give free diagnostics and estimates. Dan said to have anybody that ends up working on the car to give him a call and he would let them know what they found. I felt really bad I wasn't give him my business, but told him I'd write a review. If I were to ever live in the area, this is undoubtedly be where my vehicles would be serviced.
