I had a bad experience at the shop on Feb 17,2026 I stop by the shop to get a simple tire sensor…read morefor my back tire they fixed the flat and added a sensor, the problem was when they put the sensor on the mechanic could not get the tire symbol off my dashboard so I ask him not to try anymore because I said to myself if he can not get it off and keep trying he's going to mess up something and as soon as I went to work that evening I started my car on one of my breaks I had three more symbols lightning up on the dash board and they were lights for my breaking system so right now the lights are still on because am scared to let a different mechanic mess with it but I'm going to take it back to Chicago to let my regular mechanic fix it and by the way I received a text from them saying that they hope the experience was OK and I wrote on the text back that it wasn't so good thinking they would ask why but no more question to the service am not saying its a bad place to get your car fixed but the experience I had was not a good one

Rumble noise at high speed…read more Called another shop who said it was probably front end wheel bearings but couldn't get the car in for a week so I had decided to have Scotts, you save look at it and he told me it wasn't the bearings or CV joints, but the tires were cupped and we just had them rotated from the rear a few days ago We decided to do an alignment since I never had it done before, and it was out a little bit which they fixed. So they saved me a ton of money, by not replacing the wheel bearings and being hotness in straightforward with me. Definitely recommend their business.

Over the last three years, I have purchased 8 tires, countless oil changes, three tire alignments, brakes and pads, a rim, a tire barring thing, and an embarrassing amount of tire patches. Chip and his team have been there with me along the way. Walk-in or appointment, I am always greeted warmly and made to feel comfortable. The service is quick, informative, fairly priced, and not intimidating at all. Here are some of the highlights: *Easy key drop box for off-hours car drop off, with envelopes *The service team has taken me back in the shop to show me certain things on my car when I didn't understand *Sometimes when waiting for my car, I go across the street to a restaurant. Chip will walk my keys over if I don't hear my cell phone ringing! *I went through a divorce in this time and he assisted me in getting all of the account information changed over in a very gentle, smooth manner. *I had fraud on my debit card, was trying to use another card that wouldn't work because of a student limit (I transferred funds to my son's card thinking it would work) so Chip took the shop shuttle and drove me to the bank so I could get cash. Always helpful, very gracious, not annoyed by my situation. THE BIG ONE - From getting to know Chip over the last three years, we discovered that we live in the same small Indiana town. I recently had a bad house fire and had been displaced. Chip recognized that it was my house that had the fire so when he found I had dropped my car off for some repairs, he took it upon himself to organize among him and the team to change out my brake light free of charge. Why? Because he and his team wanted me to have one less thing to worry about during this time of tragedy. I will literally never go anywhere else for car repairs specifically because of Chip. Yesterday they replaced the master cylinder and brake booster for my Mom's vehicle. When they sent…read moreme quote, I couldn't understand why they were charging me so much in labor, so I called them. They told me that the master cylinder and booster were separate parts that were located in different locations. I couldn't imagine that, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt. When I arrived to pick up the vehicle, I had them show me the parts. As soon I as viewed them, I saw that the master cylinder did in fact bolt to the brake booster. I asked to talk to the manager who tried to tell me the master cylinder was on the inside of the firewall. I argued the point with him and he finally told me "I guess your not a tech because if you were you would have replaced the parts yourself." After paying (almost $1,700), we walked out to the vehicle to a brake pedal that depressed all the way to the floor. After bringing it to their attention, they re-bled the lines and I overheard the manager (Larry) tell a tech that there was a lot of air in the left side. The pedal was still not as firm as I would have expected, but we took it home. I would not recommend this shop to anyone.

Worst place for car repairs, and even worse when it comes to customer service…read more I brought my car in to get my brakes repaired and spent roughly $500 as a result. Less than a week later, I was having similar car issues. I took my car to another mechanic shop for a second opinion, and that's when I was notified that my Right Front Brake Pad fell off. The mechanic at the second shop told me that my car was not drive-able due to the damages, and that it would need to get towed back to AutoFix since my car was still under warranty. AutoFix REFUSES to pay for the tow simply because I took my car to another shop for a second opinion. I find this to be extremely sketchy as a business. Because essentially I paid for a service that they did not fulfill, and actually caused more damages to my car. Instead of AutoFix taking accountability to rectify the problem, and to satisfy their customers (which by the way, I already paid $500 to get my brakes fixed), they refuse to help the situation because I took my car to another shop ONLY FOR A SECOND OPINION Basically, sketchy company with questionable quality of service on repairs. They'll only take your money and won't actually fix your car
