He said he would test drive it and the next day I called and was told that it was DEFINITELY the tires making the noise replaceable at over $700+. When I went to pick up my car it still made the same grinding noise but I assumed it had been fixed. I drove it to IKEA in Canton, Michigan to pick up a very heavy desk and drove back using interstates. I then took it out to John's Towing for a recheck where the mechanic immediately jumped in for a ride and within seconds told me that I had a bad rotor and that my wheel could have raaily fallen off. I was also told by the mechanic that he used to work for D&M and that he's only out for your cash.

This happened in October of 2021, and my car is still suffering from their negligence…read more Took it in for a standard oil change, fluid top off and windshield wiper blade replacement. One of the mechanics opened my door to check the proper measurements for tire pressure, seems fine until they slammed the door shut so hard that they KNOCKED THE ENTIRE WINDOW off the track and broke it. When I asked them to put the window back, they claimed they weren't "allowed" to handle such a repair, which I now know is code for "we can't admit to damaging a customer's car". It was a $400+ repair to get the window back on track and the damaged parts replaced, and I had to find another garage in Adrian to do the work. As for the wiper blades... They never really worked right. They barely cleaned the windshield in the two years that I had them on the car. When I went to replace them with a new set, I discovered that the blades that these "professionals" used were the WRONG SIZE. They were not compatible with my car's model despite the blades being an adequate size, meaning that they were never going to do the job correctly. These people are quick at their jobs, but far from professional! They're sloppy with their work, don't double-check anything and will damage your car without any care once you paid your bill and you're on your way. Avoid this place! Especially since they charge $60 for an oil change when every other garage in Adrian will do it for half that price without breaking your vehicle.

Attendant checking customers in was hostile when I failed to understand that a stop sign at their facility somehow meant stop and wait in place. I did exactly what I did the last time they changed my oil which was stop at the stop sign and then pull around to the back of the building where the sign said to wait for the attendant. After the attendant checked in two customers that came in behind me, he finally deemed me worthy of attention. At that time he told me that because I wasn't happy to be ignored for 10 minutes while sitting waiting to get my oil changed that I wasn't good enough to have my oil changed at his facility. I will investigate if this is a chain, because if it is, I will complain to corporate. I will also advise everyone I know to please not use this facility. What a jerk! Which would cost thousands of dollars, naturally. I went for a second opinion as the issues I was having didn't align with a bad transmission. Turns out it was just a sensor that needed replacing, costing only a few hundred dollars. Once the sensor was replaced by another shop the problems ended. I have been here multiple times through the years as they are the closest shop, but Everytime they asses the problem they are WAY off. I don't know if it's poorly trained mechanics or if they just assume anyone who isn't a professional in the auto industry is just completely clueless about vehicles. With the Internet being a thing and people being able to search up problems and be able to have a general idea what might be wrong with their car, you would think shops trying to intentionally scam customers would not longer be an issue. I'm not saying that's what happens there, it could be constant honest mistakes. Even when I took my car there for a simple oil change, problems arose. Had an appointment for Dec 19th for new tire install and lube for my classic 89 Trans Am. The tire supplier I used sent the wrong tires to the shop which created a delay. That's when Chris jumped into action to get me replacement tires asap since no one in town had what we needed. After new tires installed promptly and lube work completed we attempted to drive off only to have the classic die out in the street. Chris and his staff jumped into action to push the car out of the street and back into the shop. Within 5 minutes diagnosed that the fuel pump relay is bad and was able to get new replacement parts and have us on the road quickly.
