I actually first found out about this gem via another local small business because they regularly use their parking lot to host family friendly community events. We showed up to one with a free bounce house, classic cars, fantastic local vendors, and the star of the show was definitely Smooth Bean! The coffee shop itself offered free candy, toys, and crafts for the kids as part of the event. But on a regular basis, they have an amazing IG worthy selfie wall as well as toys for little kids and games for families to use. The menu is family friendly too! My kids can't have caffeine due to health conditions so I love that they have several blended drinks that are caffeine free as well as craft Italian soda type options that they were willing to create from scratch for them! My kids went with the Double Chocolate blended drink and my husband tried the blended Vanilla caffeine free one and they all said they were incredible! I was shocked at how gorgeous and well crafted they were for the price compared to the corporate coffee shops and even told them their prices might be too low! They offer waffle dogs and I learned the meat is all lamb sausage from the local high end Midland Meat Market - making the price even more impressive! We watched the staff all go above and beyond for each and every customer with giant smiles on their faces! It was clear how much they all truly do enjoy being a team and working together there to put out a quality product and fun experience for the community! I cannot recommend them highly enough and am excited to go check out their new Greenwood location when it opens! They both were exactly as I remembered them. The people behind the counter were great and hooked us up, there is no real ambiance since it's a drive up. If you're complaining about the credit card fee this place is cash positive. Not everyone in the world has a credit card and if you don't want to pay it go get some cash. If Bob's Better Burger ever caught on fire it would burn for hundreds of thousands of years like Centralia PA because of the deliciousness that is trapped in the walls there.

During back to school shopping, my daughters were wearing me out from store to store so I decided it was time for a snack break. I was first irritated by the young man who took our order who was constantly looking at his watch, lacked eye contact, and was short with his words with us during our already very brief interaction. If it was a tactic to get rid of us, that kind of worked because I won't be back again. Because they had no classic large pretzels. That's all I ever want at that place. I don't like the pretzel bites that much. At that point I didn't even ask if I could wait for one because I didn't want to be around his negative attitude. We offloaded some of our shopping bags and ate in my air-conditioned vehicle since there weren't many sitting arrangements in the mall that were available. The cheese was not very warm. The pretzel bites were shockingly fine. Not overcooked or perhaps dried out as I have experienced at many Auntie Anne's. This place is in a kiosk in the middle of the Midland Park Mall in Midland, Texas.
