The store had brand new clothes that were at least 50-60% off of the original tag. Some of the items were still more expensive than I thought it should be given the dated look and style. For example, a 2024 "Mr. And Mrs." Wine glasses were still like $10! If you gave me that for $1, I wouldn't even want it. There was a huge selection of men's, women's and children's clothing. Not so much home goods. There were some bedding, and curtains, but I did not see any kitchen gadgets or appliances. You have to have patience to go in here and dig through the racks!

I grabbed the same dress in another size to show the cashier, just to see if they could offer a small discount. The cashier called over a manager, who quickly shut it down and said they couldn't do any further markdowns. Fair enough..... I wasn't totally sold on the dress anyway. But then it got weird. The manager told me they couldn't sell it at all because it was missing a part. I was stunned. I wasn't asking for anything wild, and I was buying other items too... I was definitely not trying to be difficult. As someone who also works in retail, the whole interaction felt unnecessarily rigid and like a strange power move. Disappointing first visit.

Last time I was there...bought a dress marked down some ridiculous amount and paid $8.99. For a dress. In a boutique. Then they wrap up your items in these adorable shopping bags with tissue and it looks like you just bought yourself a present. Doesn't get any better than that.

They had a huge menswear selection and a quality selection of shoes. I could get casual, dressy, whatever. Easy to navigate and friendly employees. My only real complaint was that their checkout process is a bit disjointed and confusing. It was not clearly signed or marked where you are supposed to check out and once we found a register, had to wait quite a while until an employee noticed we were waiting. Once he did, he was friendly and had us on our way. But a more central checkout or better signage would work wonders. I'll definitely be back.
