I made a phone call to determine where my order was and the person through the call center could NOT have been any less helpful. I took the day off work for the delivery but nothing showed. The call center told me someone would call me within 24 hours to discuss delivery and that it wasn't Lowe's fault that an outside delivery company did accept the pickup order and delivery. How could it not be Lowe's fault when THAT'S WHO I ORDERED IT FROM!!!!!!??????? Next time it's Home Depot for me, that for sure. Horrible customer service and delivery program. But of course they sure charged me for the delivery fee.

I was assisted by a young lady there, I didn't catch her name, but she was so helpful. She was able to teach me about all of the plants and help me determine which ones were best for my yard and needs. I ended up getting a few green giants, some of the best quality I've ever seen and again crazy low prices. So impressed, I plan to swing back by soon to grab some more. I stopped by to check out this lovely new shop in Old Milford, and was pleasantly surprised. The 2…read morestory shop is bright and airy, and an open floor plan and staircase lit by skylights in this historic old stone building (built by the Kuglers of Kugler Mill fame in 1800's). The woman who owns the shop has stocked it full of unusual and whimsical items for the garden and home. This is a terrific place to find unique gift items, and in the fall there will be Holiday items added. Some of my favorites were the unusual and colorful fabric FAN CHAIRS, the cast iron, painted, garden bird & butterfly water holders on a long "stick", and a beautiful blue ceramic flower on a long "stick". There is so much more to see, it's a feast for the eyes. A wonderful addition to the marvelous shops & restaurants that have opened in the last few years in Old Milford.

This one was $5 and with it being Covid and not many people stopping in to local shops I thought this was a good time to support a local business. I "assumed" (my mistake! We all know what that leads to!) that this was a make and take for $5. Nope. $5 was to walk in the door and listen to a talk about 2 minutes long about succulents. Everything else costs a fortune. The "plus whatever you buy" I "assumed" (I'm an idiot) was referring to if we shopped around afterward. Again, my bad. $5 covered what a succulent is. Everything else...upcharge. They offered very small votive candle holders for tiny succulents for $5 each. They offered star candy dishes as planters for $22. Now I know these come from Dollar Tree because I just purchased several of them at Dollar Tree for my daughter's graduation party. But they are selling them for $22. We were there less than one hour and I'm now the proud owner of a few succulents in tiny votive candle holders and I have FIFTY DOLLARS less in my checking account. Yes, over $50. More than disappointed in this local business. I support several local businesses in this plaza including two on each side- the bird store and Tongs Thai. Won't be back to this one. While working on my plant, I asked Becky about a type of plant I have at home. Her response, "I dunno." Not, "Let's ask Tom." or "I'm not familiar" Just "I dunno." Stinks that they been here over 4 years and I'm there first review. If they suddenly get a surge of great reviews after have none for over 4, we can guess why.
