We've visited Recreations Outlet twice and had great experiences both times. The staff are helpful to make sure kids are following rules and it's big enough the kids have a variety of activities but adults can still see the whole room to watch their kids play. You can't beat the price and fun on day with bad weather; we can stay for hours and the kids get their energy out. read more

Large facility that is a great space for birthday parties. Loved being able to rent the entire place after hours, which made the party more enjoyable for the parents and kids. It's clean and well maintained. The only con was cleaning up the party area had to be done within our allotted time. The guests felt rushed out of the party room and host family couldn't enjoy the last part of the party due to clean up. This place is the best! I think I've taken the kids 100+ times in the past three years and they never got tired of it. There is so much space to run around and a myriad of things to do for all ages. It gives me peace of mind (since it's all closed in) that I don't get in outdoor parks about the kids wandering off and out of my sight. It is very kid friendly and accessible. It has always been extremely clean which is important to me. There's usually someone walking around cleaning every time we go. It's impressive to keep such a big establishment clean when it's made for kids. The staff is always extremely friendly and warm to the kids. They have a great area to have a snack and child friendly bathrooms. We love to go on Tuesdays-Thursdays 9:00-11:00am when it is Charitable Play and only $4/kid. The membership is also worth it if you plan to go more than 10 times a year! read more

Was here for a kid's birthday party last Saturday. It had been snowing hard non stop but thanks to this indoor play area, the birthday boy was not disappointed by the turnout or play time. It's pretty basic - you book one of the rooms for a party and each of the kids gets a wrist band for the play area. They have the regular play sets, swing sets, trampolines, even scooters and such. You can order in food from outside as they do no have a kitchen. The staff were very accommodating. Once they noticed there were many adults accompanying the kids, they offered to give us a bigger room. This place is a solid choice for kids during the winter. Folks with kids who had come with us from Frankfort really appreciated the indoor area and wished for something like this back in Frankfort. read more

My favorite indoor place to take my kiddo in the greater Cincinnati region. We've been visiting for a year and a half now. When we first started going, my little was around 1yo and she was limited to what she could but she loved the trampolines, swings and smaller jungle gyms. With that said, there are ways to younger toddlers to have fun but really this is more for the 3-8 age group. At 2.5yo, my little still loves the trampolines but has upgraded to the bigger jungle gyms. It stresses mama out but she loves it. The big key here is WATCH YOUR KIDS. Not a place to just let them run solo. Keep your eye on your child at all times. Aside from the cool gyms and trampolines, there's also various small bikes, push cars, little tikes houses, basketball hoops. A little bit of everything in this open concept play space. There's room for parties, gymnastics, hair cuts and a little snack shop. The idea here is for the parents to buy one of the displayed gyms so prices are found all around. Such a smart concept for them to make money. Borderline genius. You can buy play passes or pay per visit. We received a play pass for three free visits on our first visit. It says there's a limit of 2 hours but I get the impression the teenagers running the spot could care less. I took my son for a Sunday fun day and he loved every single minute of it! He literally tried everything they have to offer. It's different from your typical trampoline park or outside playground in the fact that the price of each unit is posted for purchase if you were interested . In the winter it's perfect because everything is indoors and the kids cant escape. There's a place to get the kids haircut as well as a candy store inside that offers food. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID !!! I had a terrible experience! I agreed to pay them $288 to assemble my trampoline (I didn't know that ONE guy could put it together in less than an hour). I should have done my homework. THE PROBLEMS: I was told that IF the net needed to be replaced, they would ASK FOR MY APPROVAL, and the charge would be $146. NOPE: They NEVER asked for my approval & then charged my credit card for $286. Communication is terrible. They never called to notify me of when they were coming, I had to keep calling them. People want to see the playgrounds before buying them, so Recreations Outlet builds a variety of their playgrounds indoors and then charges people to play on them. Whoever had this idea is a genius. It is a big space filled with a variety of playground setups, trampolines, a basketball court, and a few other toys. You pay a flat fee to get in, but you can play as long as you want. This is a great way to try out the products before buying, or you can just use it as a way to tire out your kid(s) on a rainy day. We were there for a birthday party. The party facilities were pretty standard, a big room with a few tables and a bunch of chairs. You bring in your own food, cake and whatever decorations. Recreations Outlet basically just supplies the space. The only odd thing about the place, is that they have a few bounce houses in a different area, but only the birthday parties get access to them. I thought that was very strange, especially considering there are huge windows, so all the kids in the main play area can see the bounce houses that they don't get to play in. One concern I did have is that there isn't a lot of staff presence in the play area. When you get that many kids running around, there are bound to be some kids not following the rules. It felt like there was never anyone around to address those issues. Luckily for us, most of the parents were paying attention and it didn't turn into a BIG problem. On a side note, I was disappointed in the quality of the playgrounds I saw. They are Rainbow Playsystems, which is a well-respected name in playgrounds, but I thought the construction didn't seem as sturdy as I would want. Came here for a kid's birthday party (child attendee age ranges 4-6) and was pretty impressed overall with the sheer number of things for the kids to do. There are multiple whole playsets indoors (with slides, climbing walls, playhouses, etc.) along with lots of trampolines, a soccer area, etc. The party was in a good-sized room that had a glass wall overlooking the play area, which is super nice for parents whose kids are old enough to play somewhat independently, but you still want to keep an eye out. I think only one of the party rooms had that set-up, so you might need to request it specifically if that's something you want. The equipment is well-maintained and safe. For example, all the trampolines have a full net enclosure and special springs that can't pinch fingers. The staff is vigilant, sometimes comically so, about making sure the rules are being followed. On the trampolines, only 2 kids are allowed at a time and the net enclosure opening must be fully zipped up. When we were there, they were amazingly quick to notice and rectify any infraction. Better that than no supervision though! It's definitely as loud and crazy as you would expect an indoor playground to be, but totally worth it for the fun the kids have and all the energy they burn! read more

This is the prefect place for a party. Had my boyfriend's daughter party here and the kids had a great time. This is about the only kids party place that allows you bring your own food!! Which is nice because I hate just only having pizza for kids! You can come 15 minutes before your party to set up. When you come in you can give the party table your guest list and they check them in for you and tell your guests where to go. It gets very but here on the weekend! I live in Milford, so this place is convenient. We used to go there for free play time, which I loved! Then they changed it to charitable play...don't get me wrong your money goes for a cause, but I think it should be optional to donate or not. I would stay clear of here on Holidays or rainy days, as it is crazy! With so many nooks and crannies, it is hard to watch more than one child and know where they are at all times. It makes for a stressful experience! I wish they had a better system of tracking children. As for the extra helpers refereeing...they are high school students who may or may not be paying attention to what is happening. They are not usually helpful and most of the time do not look like they are enjoying their job. In addition, they charge $8 per child for two hours on holidays or days when children are out of school. If you want access to the bounce houses (only 4 of them) it is another $4 per child. This rate is charged for any any child. I was shocked the first time they made me pay for a one year old. As for the quality of the play systems...I am skeptical based on the ones indoors. There are not rainbow...see the location across the street if you are wanting Rainbow. They seem very used...scuffed up finish coming off and I am quite worried about some of the hinges holding up as some were moving and squeaking while we were swinging. If you go, expect to pay at least $5 per child on a regular day and enjoy! read more

Over the past 2 years we have purchased a play set and springless trampoline. I can't speak highly enough about the products. The swing set is used nearly every morning (when it's not raining or too cold). The trampoline is in constant use even among my teenagers all day long. This summer we pull the hose out and have a waterslide. Sprinkler under trampoline and it's a cool way to get exercise on hot day. The possibilities for imagination is endless. The trampoline and swing-set are so durable and well made with engineering second to none. We have older children and have purchased many different outdoor products over the years and none have lasted nor always felt safe. With the recent addition of twins we have decided safety and convenience was necessary so we finally invested not once but twice. Tara helped us with both purchases and costumer service has been impeccable. She has continued to help us with questions and accessories. I do not think people realize how worth it the investment is. Knowing my kids will have safe fun for years to come is not something other products have been able to deliver for us. read more

Talked to THREE people about a clearance ping pong table (even have in writing in e-mail) at a TAGGED price of $99. Gave credit card, went to look at in person AND confirmed purchase. Don't know if it is because I chose not to pay $150 delivery fee or what, but all of the sudden two days later the table was "mislabeled" and no longer for sale. Mind you this is a table that was pretty beat up from being a demo on the floor, not out of the box in good condition. We recently went shopping for a trampoline. I couldn't understand the differences between the options in the market. So, I called the place that was close and they failed to return the first two phone calls. Then they couldn't answer even the basics. Next, I called Recreations Outlet, they called me back quickly and could answer all of my random questions. I was especially concerned about safety and the durability of the product. The sales man told me in detail why I should choose which model. He even came out to measure and layout the model that we were looking at (we went with the ridiculous large model). This place is like heaven for my four-year-old. During our last visit (on a slow evening), she spent a good half-hour on a trampoline and wore herself OUT. There's a variety of playsets to suit all ages, all kinds of riding toys scattered about, and a party room that was being used by a huge group of rambunctious little boys. The price ($6 for two weekday hours) is good and the little cafe offers some healthier options. I had a chicken salad croissant a few visits ago that was pretty delicious, actually. A few downsides... several of the playset slides are WAY too fast. Like, so fast that your kid will take out your kneecaps if you try to catch him/her or hit the ground HARD if you don't. They need to figure out a way to angle them a bit, or something, because my daughter tried one and was finished sliding for the night. Also, why no wifi? I get annoyed with parents who stare at their phones instead of their children as much as anyone, but watching a child jump up and down for half an hour gets a little tedious, and I forgot my book. read more
