This place is great! I've always jumped around from barber to barber pretty much my whole life. So this is the first time that I've stuck with the same place. Great service and great results in my opinion. Kevin is who cuts my hair and I'll just keep coming back. The location is pretty cool, almost like a hideout lol. Kevin is one of the best barbers in the area, hands down! Always gives a great cut and is extremely friendly. Little tip finding the location - there will be a bridal store as the store front, enter the gated area and you'll see the double doors leading into the bridal store - to your right hand side there is a single door that is closed, open that door and go up the stairs. In the window next to the door there is the old school barbers pole, the spinning red white and blue thing. That's the sign that you're going to the right spot. Come get you cut from Kevin, Leo, and Jesse And you will leave feeling and looking like a boss!!! Accepts walk-ins, appointments also if desired. Not like other barber shops that constantly use profanity or are loud and obnoxious, this spot is strictly for cuts and to take a load off. Came in before Christmas. Jesse was my barber he was very professional. Had a good time talking with him and enjoyed getting a nice relaxing haircut. The other two barbers were friendly and they acknowledged me when I came in. Will come back soon. There's parking in the back. I walked in but he said it's best to make an appointment next time. Easily the best barbershop in Whittier. I've been going to Leo for about 3 years now. I came across him when I was given a horrible cut by another local barber and was looking for someone to fix it. When I say it was a bad cut, I mean bad. A cut that I wouldn't even wish on my worst enemies! Anyway, I came across him and, after mutually agreeing that it was bad, he was easily able to fix the other barbershop's mistake. Since then, I've been going to Leo and he always comes through. In regards to the barbershop, it's conveniently located just south of Whittier Blvd on Greenleaf. You don't need to go out of your way to get to it. There is plenty of parking located on the street and behind the building. All barbers are very inviting and eager to have conversations with you on almost any topic. Just a great place to get a cut or take your children to get a cut. Highly recommended! read more

Well...Kevin has been my barber for 5 yrs now. The day he mentioned that he was opening up his own barbershop I told him that I will go where ever he is going. Luckily it was within the area. Going into his shop there was a feel...a good vibe feel. Kevin, Leo and Jesse are all very professional and courteous to their clients as well as loyal. Besides on their profession...the up keep in the shop is nice and neat. So who doesn't want to go to a shop that's nice and neat. Clean shop with chill atmosphere. I get taken care of by Jesse but all these guys are all craftsmen with and I recommend them all. For those waiting they always have a game or UFC fight on. I recommend you schedule an appointment for weekends and they take care of you right away. Being from Whittier I've been to a lot of shops and been cut up by a lot of people with little to no issues. I've noticed this spot passing by and decided to give it a try. I walked in and was greeted by a gentleman who I informed I was a walk-in and was assured by him that I'd be helped shortly. Was even asked by him if I wanted anything to drink while I waited, which was a really nice gesture. I was cut up by the barber, Jesse, and the haircut was far from good. Fade was uneven and was given more of a "high and tight" than my requested side part and combover (Received no side part).. Price for a haircut is $30 flat, which is pretty high for local Whittier shops. But the good customer service, comfortability, and nice decor back it up. Unfortunately, I won't be giving them any more of my business due to this experience. $30+$7(tip)+$25(to fix somewhere else)= $62 at the end of the day. No bueno. Costumer service was great. That's the reason for two stars instead of one. read more
