I ordered the flowers, picked certain colors for the flowers for a reason, had ordered a ribbon with a certain saying and paid for it all with my credit card. I get to the funeral service and what do I see? I see that the whole arrangement had been changed. Apparently, I was told that the biological mother had called the shop, spoke to the same person that I ordered the arrangement from, and she completely changed what the original order was. The owner,who personally knows the biological mom, never reached out to me or the father of the deceased, to verify that such changes should be made. Mom was not paying for that arrangement, WE were. I reached out to the owner of the flower shop the following business day and informed her of the situation that occurred and expressed that she did not have the authorization to change our order just because "mom" wanted something else. Mom should have placed her own order of flowers and not be concerned about our flowers. I asked for a refund because I did not get what I ordered. Wrong flowers, wrong colors, wrong ribbon etc. Why should I have to pay for something that this shop changed without my permission just because they know the other party involved. She did credit half of it and told me she refused to deal with me anymore. I firmly believe that I am entitled to a full refund and she should be charging the other party for those flowers that were paid by us but not our order. Completely disappointed in the service I received at a difficult time that we are already dealing with. What's even more disappointing and appalling is it's the owner of the establishment that did this and there is no one else for me to reach out to to resolve this issue besides maybe the Better Business Bureau. Even though her phone was ringing off the hook due to Mother's Day request, Darlene took her phone off the hook and gave us her undivided attention, shared ideas, and sympathized with the situation. Her friendliness, professionalism, and kindness were truly appreciate by my mom, sisters and me. And her prices were the best compared to 5 other florists. Highly recommend.

Would love to be able to post the photos of what we ordered vs. what was received. We purposely called the order in so that if there was an issue they could advise us of it. Vibrantly colored roses and carnations, etc., were substituted with dead looking brown and yellow mums. (I'm talking the entire bouquet, not just a flower or two substitution.) Seriously?! While planning my grandson's birthday party - we decided in addition to the bounce house - we'd need some tables and chairs as well. After looking through the phone book and realizing that we knew someone in the business - we called G & E Tents, Tables and Chairs. Bob (owner) was very friendly and took the time to explain every thing to me. The prices seemed VERY reasonable and it sure beat me trying to come up with enough tables and chairs for everyone. In fact - I was surprised that the cost of renting enough tables and chairs for 50 people was in deed a rental price and not some absurd price where I could have actually purchased the stuff. They also no longer allow people to pick the items up - which I was NOT looking forward to doing. I have enough to do without worrying about picking the things up myself - and getting a truck and all that crap! So knowing they are delivering the items to us ahead of party time makes things much easier for me. As well as picking them up afterwards - saves me a ton of time and maybe a back injury! I will update this review after the party, but for now - I wanted to get this one started. FYI - After looking at the review for this business, I noticed a filtered review. Though it was positive for the company, it appeared to have come from the owner of the company. For anyone who knows the owners - it appears that the owner was trying to give some free advertising and stated, "Great Tents, Excellent Service!". I contacted the owner and was surprised at what I learned and realize that though the comment was positive - it was not from the owner. In the Yelp community and for some people who look at reviews, seeing an owner comment doesn't normally sit well. So though it appears to be something good - for some - it is not good nor is it a proper way to conduct business and therefore may opt not to do business with them. Today 8-9-13 the chairs and tables were delivered to the party location. They were delivered ahead of schedule and I was not there to pay as promised, but they simply said they'd collect when they picked the items back up instead. So far - my review reflects excellent service, friendliness and professionalism. 8-10-13 - ok - so the chairs and tables are still there - not quite sure when they will be picked up, but I can go ahead and finish up this review. The tables were decent - some had cracks in them, but they were black, which is an awesome color that went well with the super hero theme! The tables were good - no construction issues. However, they were not the cleanest of tables and table clothes were needed to cover them up. Even a wipe down with bleach didn't get them clean enough - SO - make sure you have a roll of something to place on each table. We used red, which again was perfect for the super hero them. Overall - I will give this one a 4 star review. In order to get 5 stars those tables really need to be cleaned up and all the chairs should be in good condition.

They are polite and easy to work with. They showed up on time at the park and made sure the tent was where we wanted it. We set up the tables and chairs after they had left. Everything was in good condition. A few of the chairs were dirty so we just wiped them off. We used the white wedding chairs so I'm sure they're hard to keep clean. I looked at quite a few options for tents tables and chairs, and they had the best deal. If you have a few people to help set up the tables and chairs and have a plan where you want them to go, you'll be all set!

Krista did our wedding reception in October 2016 and I cannot compliment her and her staff enough…read more When I first contacted her she immediately replied and I could tell from our first phone conversation that I had found the company I wanted to do our reception. She was able to answer questions and offer menu suggestions or tips that might help the meal. We had several allergies she was able to accommodate and when I realized a few weeks before the wedding that we had another allergy she swiftly was able to let me know her food did not contain the allergen. This brings me to the wedding. They were there early to set up the bar and the stations and arrived with food that was nice and warm (and delicious) at the perfect time. She did a beautiful job displaying our donuts for our dessert, which is something that was above and beyond what we expected her to do! She even included placards for the different flavors. Her staff was polite and were able to get the tables called in an efficient manner. It's been two weeks and we are still getting compliments on the food we served! I definitely recommend Krista and her company for a wedding or any other event that you may have.
