Their first location is in Roncy where they are known to create delicious meals that are plant-based. I've been to their Roncy location once to purchase a meal as well so I was excited that their new location is closer to my work. I stopped by Sorry I've Got Plants on a Fri around 1:30pm. The store is primarily take out only although if you wish, there is a small ledge/nook at the front of the store for you to eat. There are no tables or chairs. Upon entering, you take a look at the menu where I got overwhelmed with all the choices. The great thing about the menu is that they also list the calories and protein in each sandwich/bowl (I was looking for protein after my workout). I opted for a hearty hummus bowl and also got a chickpea patty as I saw them in the display near the cashier. All bowls and sandwiches are made to order. My order was made at a reasonable time. My bowl consisted of marinated kale, quinoa, falafel, house hummus, cucumber, tomato, tofu feta, parsley, toasted pepitas, tahini vin, and toum. All the ingredients worked well together and I enjoyed the falafel pieces. The tomato helped cut some of the richness from the salad dressing and the quinoa was a great way to add more protein to the bowl. The hummus was great as well and I devoured the whole thing quickly. Overall, great location, food, and friendly staff! Would definitely return for more (super interested to try that banh mi!).

Nice ambiance over all. We're not strict veg, we just like to lean that way most nights so we thought we'd check Bellona out. A lot of their menu has a choice between tapas size and full size so we tried a few things. Loved everything. The sliders were addictive. Attached is our bill. $99 including a bottle of wine and we were stuffed (and I'm 6'4" and have an appetite). Desserts looked good too but we were too full. The very nice owner chatted with us at the end and told us about the origin of the place (and that our great server was her daughter). Definitely very happy with this restaurant.

Unfortunately, we were 20-25mins late. I knew they only allowed a 15min window. We arrived and I did tell them if they still couldn't fit us in, then I understood. Long story short, they told us to wait 5-10mins and if the next reservation didn't show up, they could seat us. Luckily, we got seated. The staff was nice, the place is cozy and had good vibes. The food was good. The chocolate red wine cake for dessert was really good. I recommend this place.

Most recently I was here for early afternoon brunch with three friends. We sat in the back room area, down the little set of steps from the kitchen, which you pass on the way from the entrance. It was empty when we got there so for awhile it felt like our own little clubhouse. FYI this place is all vegetarian and vegan. This includes some meat substitutes like fake sausage and tofu scramble, but also they have real eggs too. There are two brunch options: one savoury, one sweet. My partner and I opted to get each and split them, which was a great choice since he had already eaten a snack about an hour prior so wasn't famished. For the savoury side of things, we got scrambled eggs (FYI they only come scrambled, not fried or any other way), refried beans, a green salad, hash browns, and toast. Everything was really good - perfectly cooked eggs, tasty sides, and loved that it was served on a thali plate so everything had its own little compartment. For the sweet, it was a coconut yogurt parfait with granola, berries and pomegranate seeds. Loved the selection of toppings and it was nice accompaniment to the rest of the meal. Note: this place is pretty small so its not suitable for groups larger than 6 max. But its perfect for smaller more intimate groups just looking to debrief over some tasty eats in a cozy space.

I would suggest order one of their drink specials, it will make the wait more bearable and they are so so delicious! I tried Roobis Ginger Tea with Honey & Spiced Rum ($7) and Steamed Apple Cider with Ginger & Lemon ($5). Fresh chopped ginger tasted so good, and you can add a shot of bourbon for an extra $2.50. When our drinks almost finished then the food arrived: Omelettes - Vegan on a House Made Tofu-Veggie Patty with Daiya ($12)+Sweet Potato ($2) - The daiya cheese is surprising delicious and so was the tofu based omelette Yelapa - Two Scrambled Eggs, Home Fries, Refried Beans, Fresh Salsa and House Made Corn Bread ($12) - love the refried beans, it is quite spicy too! Unfortunately the fresh salsa lack any taste aside from the freshness of the tomato... E L Ruddy is a good choice to dine with Vegan and Vegetarian friends. As for me, I definitely will be coming back for some cocktails. I think I will be start making my tea at home with spiced rum!

I feel that the price point is actually very reasonable given the portions and quality of ingredients. A disclaimer that I've only tried their noodle dishes and not the sushi (I do like my seafood haha), but these are fantastic - rich in flavour without being overwhelmed with salt and sugar (the typical fallbacks for vegan food). Highly recommend the truffle fried rice and the Singapore noodles! The fact that the food seems to be relatively healthy (at least psychologically...) is of course a plus as well. The interior is fairly upscale, the dim lighting and elegant decor contributing to a muted but lovely ambiance. I do love a place that allows you to have a conversation at normal volumes! Service is always excellent without fail, the staff is helpful but not overbearing. A must for anyone who's vegan, vegan-curious, or simply searching for some great food in beautiful surroundings!
