This was my 3rd attempt to get a cinnamon roll. Sold out. Granted 11:00am is not early but if it were me I would have cinnamon rolls to sell. We settled for some cookies and coffee cake. No sign of oats in the Oatmeal cookie. Dry and a tad under baked. The peanut butter cookie was also dry but baked well and tasted good. The coffee cake was good as was the coffee. read more

Came here when we woke up too late for breakfast at the Chico Resort down the street. And boy were we happy we did! The place is smallish and quaint. You could sit outside or in and my girlfriend and I decided to eat inside. We ordered the breakfast sandwich and breakfast scramble. Both came out quickly and were served with delicious fresh bread. There are pieces of art hung all along the walls with little blurbs written by the artists. These were great to read as we enjoyed our breakfast. It was so good that we decided to grab another breakfast two days later as we were leaving from our stay at the resort. read more

May 2012 - back in Montana again for the summer and of course have already been to this bakery a half dozen times and it's even better than ever! They've expanded their space so there is much more space for tables and it's less cramped with added tables for larger parties (ie. 6 ppl). Their menu is basically the same although seems like the breakfast options are improved. This place is so yummy! I have to stay away sometimes because when I go I want everything in the bakery case! fyi - They are now closed on Sundays but open on Mondays. read more

We drove right past this town, hoping to find breakfast before we read the Yelp reviews. They sounded good so we turned around and went back. So glad we did! The cinnamon rolls were amazing!! We also got eggs and Tri-tips. The Tri tips had a smokey flavor like bacon...but they were better!! The coffee was good too! This is a MUST stop! We could smell the smoke for the bbq they will be serving later for lunch. Wish we could try that too but we had to get back on the road. 5 stars for sure! read more

This review is for the bbq place next door owned by the same people. Follow Yer Nose BBQ is the best bbq we've ever had and we have ate in all the bbq restaurants in NY. Not to mention the Big Apple BBQ every year for all over the US. They have an awesome rub that needs no sauce although they offer 2 kinds of bbq sauce on the side. Tender smoked ribs to die for!! My family stopped in here after getting gas across the street. It's a good, small place with good baked goods, food for breakfast and lunch, and coffee. The cinnamon rolls are huge, so we split one among four people for a snack. It was fresh out of the oven and perfect. We ordered three lattes and a chai tea. It took a little while to get them (because they have to be made one at a time). If you're getting coffee, this will not be a quick stop. We ended up waiting a good long while for the chai while they served several people who ordered lattes after us. After the wait, the coffees and chai weren't worth it. The chai in particular was pretty bland. I still recommend this place for pastries and baked goods, but skip the coffee. They're expanding their hours to be 7:30-3 Monday - Saturday starting next week. read more

This bakery feels like a great place to go. It smells delicious, has a warm, pleasant feel and always seems to have at least a few local folks. Unfortunately, everything I've ordered here was lackluster. The apple pastry was doughy not flaky, soggy, and worse-yet, filled with a starchy apple goo that must have come straight out of a bucket from sysco food distributors. That is both lazy and undelicious. The coffee was good. The service was horrible. My first visit, I stopped by at 11:20 to pick up some lunch. I placed my coffee order, and told the staff I needed a minute to figure out which sandwich I wanted. After thinking for a while, I decided but was told in a rude voice "we DON'T serve lunch until 11:30." Firstly, she was rude. Secondly, it's bad business to be so inflexible. They missed out on my dollars that day, though I'm sure I'll be back to enjoy a cup of coffee in a warm windowseat at some point. But just coffee. read more

I'm a fan of this place solely as a result of their baked goods. The cinnamon rolls are LEGENDARY! Huge, massive, moist, cinnamon-y, deliciousness. Although the same can't be said for everything as the hot chocolate was kind of watered down. The prices were reasonable, $14 for each plate of cinnamon roll french toast and scrambled eggs, and $3.75 for each homemade pastry (rolls, turnovers, and muffins). The customer service was very good. It's not like some places in the middle of nowhere that serve up mediocrity because there aren't many alternate choices, the food was quality but the drinks could use some improvement. We searched long and hard for a good cup of coffee while in Montana, and we were hard pressed to find one. This place definitely filled the void, and it was such a surprise as this community seems to thrive within a single intersection! While we didn't get to sample their pastries, they looked delicious! We have been traveling cross-country and this was such an amazing find. Everything was fresh and delicious!!! I had a slice of strawberry and peach oat bar and it was the best thing I have eaten in weeks. My sons had a gooey, chocolatey brownie and my husband enjoyed his chocolate croissant. It was so good we went back for lunch. My husband and I ate next door at Follow Yer' Nose BBQ which is also to die for and the owner is super friendly. My sons had a pizza from the bakery, which was thin, crunchy and made with the finest ingredients. We are definitely visiting this bakery again while we are here. Everything we have eaten here is perfect, from the breakfasts to the lunches. Their pastries are also not to be missed, as they know what they are doing.
