We also got a lemon poppyseed loaf slice, which was just ok. The loaf was a tad on the dry side and needed more lemon flavor. The staff was very friendly and answered a lot of questions. The man got a coffee which he enjoyed very much. I walked away with a jar of the most amazing honey. Sorry, there are no pics because we ate it all too fast. I found Thorn Apple online when searching for a baker in Big Sky that could do a custom cake for our friend who was having a birthday while we were here on a ski trip. The owner/baker emailed me back immediately and recommended the perfect size for our party so we wouldn't have too much waste, considering we were flying out the next day. The carrot cake apparently tasted great per the party's comments, and the decorations she did were admired by everyone! My gluten-free carrot cake cupcake she made for me, so I could participate in the festivities, was moist and flavorful. I especially appreciated her accommodating not only a pick-up on a day the bakery was closed, but was additionally was flexible with the pick-up time when my plans had to suddenly change.
