Lemon poppy bread with pistachio cream
    Lilian K.

3.5 I truly enjoyed my experience, really nice staff! I'd recommend going slightly off hours cause it's a small space. Luckily I was by myself so I got a spot. I got the bruschetta (butternut squash as the bread w asparagus and tomatoes and vegan pesto + cheese), and was disappointed that I paid so much for vegetables, but I can't deny that it was delicious. The butternut squash replacement for bread is a bit sad, but I guess healthy. I got the lemon poppy bread with pistachio creme. Pass, it was pretty dry. The presentation is fantastic though, maybe this place is suited for those who appreciate the vegetarian/vegan style. And are willing to pay for it.

And they say you can't find good food in England.... thanks to this little natural plant-based food oasis we are stuffed to the hilt.... We ordered the Apricot Hummus on Raw Crackers, the Samurai Burger, the Quan Yin Bowl, and the Raw Chocolate Torte. All were worthy of the Clean Plate Club seal of approval! What a find, thanks Yelp!

    Kale Salad

This is a pretty popular place and it's all vegan - from burgers, sandwiches, crackers, salads, and desserts, there are a lot of choices to be had. Certainly a good option for the vegetarians/vegans out there. I like healthy food and crave a good salad, but felt like this place fell short for me compared to the price/quality/taste of salads elsewhere. This place is located up the stairs in Neal's Yard, next to Home Slice. Go up the stairs and you'll see a very colorful, small room. This is not the place to come with a large group - I'd say a party size of 4 is the maximum, but I'd recommend just coming solo or with one other person as there's not much room and there are mostly long communal tables. I got the Japanese kale salad. I normally really love kale salads, but this was a little too healthy-tasting for me, and I like salads and healthy things. I think it also had some butternut squash, mushrooms, pumpkin seeds, almonds, beets, and maybe eggplant. Proportionally, it was a little too much kale to the other ingredients and didn't feel that balanced. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't a salad I'd be craving again. It was also a bit expensive, I paid around £10.50 for the takeaway salad here, if I had eaten here, it was somewhere around £12-13, which is not cheap for a salad. I have to be honest, a salad at Pret-a-Manger for 1/2 the price would have probably been just as satisfying. I'd be willing to give this place another shot - maybe my salad was just off that day, but it is pricier than most other salad places in the area. If you're looking for vegan food, this is probably a decent bet, but if you're looking for just something healthy, there are a lot of other options nearby.

This place was my first experience in London's vegan-restaurant scene and I couldn't be more pleased with experience. The place was kind of hard to find initially as it is located in an upstairs alley way. However a large sign guides you in welcomingly to the door. I went on a Saturday and the place was PACKED!! They have a small bar space but anyone of any size may find it somewhat cramped. I had the the soup of the day and the Wild Burger and they were both delicious. Additionally ALL of the wait-staff were friendly, personable and attentive. A definite try.

Cute restaurant. Cramped a bit on a Saturday afternoon. You walk up a set of stairs inside a building to get to the restaurant. Little hard to find but totally worth the effort. Staff was friendly enough, they were busy and short staffed. Menu is limited but really tasty and healthy.

So, I came here with very the almost no expectations. I have recently turned to a plant-based diet and the only reason I was looking forward to come here was that I wouldn't have to hunt for something I could eat--the whole menu would be suited to someone like me. But then again, with everything on the menu being plant-based and cooked below 42°F, I failed to see how my palate would be happy after the meal. I was so wrong. And I am happy for that. I dragged an omnivore friend along with me and both of us enjoyed our meals. I had the cult sandwich with kale chips and it was divine. The cashew nut aioli it came with was the bomb. And I could've happily gorged on those kale chips till I was ready to burst. My friend had the pizza which was amazing too. Now it wasn't your usual pizza and the base was made of an almond and butternut squash. And it was smeared with some amazing marinara. Overall, very satisfying--even for the omnivore. We had the smoothies--white zen & forgotten ecstasy--too and they were delicious. But the star of the show had to be the wild banoffee pie. I can't even begin to tell you how good it was. Don't go plant based, don't eat all the other stuff on the menu, but do come here for that banoffee pie. You will not be disappointed. I could eat here practically everyday!

There are only a handful of Vegan restaurants that I'd go to in London and Wild Food Cafe is one of them. The smoothies are just great. And they have kale chips, my all time fav healthy snack.. The only downside is it's very small and when the restaurant is busy. It can be a bit of a squeeze.

The large windows provide excellent air flow!

We had the most fantastic lunch at wild today. I was impressed that they had Kombucha on their menu, which was delightful. I ordered the pizza which was great, and my mom had the veggie burger. They both came with small salads with some arugula in with the greens. The atmosphere was also really special. We sat next to two other women and they gave us recommendations. It was really nice.

I was here twice during my time in London and my experiences have been awesome! The raw hummus was delicious (I especially enjoyed the crackers) and my salad was a great combination of figs and hazelnuts. Although the portions are small, they're really delicate and delicious. The servers are all really friendly and they're willing to sit down and explain everything about the menu to you. When I was looking for a snack/dessert, one of the servers literally spent 15 minutes with me, answering all my questions. The ambiance is really cute as it overlooks Neals Yard. For a raw vegan place, Wild Food is a must visit in London and I'd recommend it to anyone!

I hadn't been to Neals Yard for a while, so glad to see that nothing much has changed! A bit confused about the name, though - and having done some googling, it turns out that the Wild Food Cafe did indeed replace my former favourite World Food Cafe. It still looks the same, and you have to climb up the same steep staircase, even the interior hasn't changed - and they are still vegetarian! But what used to be a cheap and cheerful veggie treat with dishes from around the world has become a slightly more serious restaurant. Well, at least the prices are serious. I enjoyed my fresh fennel soup despite its £6 price tag.

Carrot and orange juice. Highly recommended!

To summarize: the service was pretty flaky and sporadic, but the food was to die for. I had a pretty awful time finding this place because it is on a tiny side street called Neal's Yard....and I smartly kept wandering around Neal's St. So just be aware of that possible mistake. We went up and sat down on the communal tables (only communal tables or bar seating) and could not for the life of us get ourselves to be noticed. It is a pretty small restaurant and the waiter gave a menu to the group that sat next to us, but would not come to greet us or give us a menu. I tried to make eye contact with him but every time we would engage he would look away. Finally a waitress at the bar realized we had not been helped yet and gave us a menu. This is basically how the service continued to work, the wait staff is not assigned particular jobs, they are just supposed to walk around and take care of whatever needs to be done and I felt that this method left room for many gaps in their service. I ordered the pizza and my mom got the soup of the day. Once we got the food we were hooked! The food is quite expensive but the freshness, flavors, and combination of ingredients made it all worth it! We were oohing and aahing at every bite! Then the pains with the wait staff kicked in again. I had noticed a specials dessert menu on the far wall, but it annoyingly had the items written in alternating dark purple and blue chalk. The dark purple was completely impossible to read against the black chalkboard so I went to ask for a dessert menu. The waitress completely dismissed me and pointed to the board and said that that was their menu and walked away. Wrong. That was just the specials dessert menu and I could not even read it! We then asked another waitress and she kindly brought us the menu. The two desserts I wanted were out of stock so we just got the chocolate cake which was decent. An overall disappointing experience in terms of service, but the main dishes were so delicious.

    Trust me it tastes delicious
    Kathleen M.

What can I say. The presentation is overwhelming. The location is overwhelming. The service is impeccable. I have never eating a meal so interesting, beautiful, flavourful, and vegan before. Was it the best meal I ever had? No. But boy was it memorable.

This food is excellent. Although my girlfriends food came out about 10 minutes prior to mine, our meals itself were delicious (flavor 10/10). I got the Green Burger, which was crazy flavorful but not very filling and a bit messy. My girlfriend got the buck wheat toast, a side of avocado, and the side of sweet potato/aioli. She's was very happy with her sides/dishes.

We ordered the Teriyaki Soya VFish (£8.50) to start, which came with 4 smallish pieces of soya fish, grilled nicely, slightly charred -- very tasty but poor value for what you get. For my main, I got the Curry Laksa (about £15), and added tempeh (£2.50), since it comes with no protein by default (which is odd, since you'd expect at least tofu puffs). The broth was heavy on the citrus and not particularly authentic -- missing that turmeric and chili character you expect in a proper laksa -- and the toppings were kind of sparse. The noodles were also medium-thickness, whereas authentic laksa should be thin vermicelli and/or yellow noodles. Oh well. It was decent for what it is, but ultimately unsatisfying and not good value. Overall, the place is nice, the location is great, and service was super friendly. But food- and value-wise, it was a bit lacking.

Food and drinks: This is a self-serve, all you can eat, with your food kind of place. I had portions of at least 6 different things, plus the gluten free pita. It was so good! I really enjoyed the curry with onions and sweet potato, the stroganoff dish, and the spinach. Not a single thing I didn't like (including the sauces). To drink, you can make a cocktail by adding alcohol to their juice combo. I had the ambrosia (I think!?) with vodka; there were strawberries inside and it was good! Service: The 2 folks there were nice and helpful. They explained how the place works and let us stay long after closing while my friend and I were chatting. Ambiance: When you see the door and peer down the stairs, you have no idea what you're getting into. The place was clean, good was well presented, it has a cozy, loved-in feel. Could accommodate 2 people or a larger group. It was so tasty (and allergen friendly) that I'm thinking of going back tomorrow...

I got the Italian pizza this time: a crunchy walnut and courgette pizza crust, covered in "ricotta" with sliced black olives, mushrooms, sundried tomatoes and almond parmesan. The menu says tomato sauce but I didn't detect that. Nonetheless, it was DELICIOUS. It also arrived so quickly; guess it helped I was the only customer in there as it was near closing time. I got the pad thai as takeaway for well. The portion is huge and the rich sauces that accompanies it are amazing. For desserts, I got the bounty bars and chocolate ganache cake as takeaway. The bounty bars are even better than the original IMO; a rich blend of coconut and dark chocolate. The ganache... is very good but I think would be much better if it wasn't in the fridge. Now on the service...a young man waited on me and then after he served my food, disappeared. I mean, I saw him behind the coffee/tea counter a few feet away but he never bothered to ask how my food was, if I wanted anything else, etc. I was debating on a smoothie whilst I was eating but he never bothered to come around to ask me. I gladly removed the optional service charge from my bill. That being said, I took home the lucuma and the cocoa smoothies from the fridge and they are phenomenal. The second tastes just like a chocolate shake.

The lady that owns the business and who is responsible for making all of the food is extremely talented, friendly and down to earth. The food is exceptional, I've eaten here several times and its always consistently good too. What I also love is that even though its raw/clean eating food which is supposed to be the latest trend at the moment, where most places are cashing in, Eat Naked keep their prices reasonable. Its not a fad for them they really do live and breath it as a lifestyle. Their ethos is healthy should be affordable and not boring! They change their menu daily which is to be admired and you can see the menu online on their instagram account. Their clean treats are what dreams are made of. I regularly crave and dream about their snickers bar when I'm in London and count down the days until I can come here again to get one when I'm in Brighton. ITS THAT GOOD! They also do juice cleanses that you can pick up or I believe they can post out too. I can't say one negative thing about this place, its quite small so maybe more of a takeaway place but they still have some seating inside if you want to chill and have a coffee. I've currently sprained my ankle and can't walk, but I just can't go a day without some Eat Naked goodness so I've managed to track down a courier to collect it and bring it to me in my flat.
