Eat by Chloe is a gourmet vegan fast food restaurant located in the heart of Covent Garden. MISSION to serve delicious and nutritious food without compromising the flavour of their dishes ATMOSPHERE very nice place with a neat and clean design, large spaces and touches of color given by funny LED lights on the walls. Minimal Instagram aesthetics STAFF young and dynamic SERVICE fast and direct. You will be given a buzzer to notify you when the food is ready MENU short and simple I think that the pish & chips is a total aberration: the fish is basically a brick of battered and fried tofu, once cut you can clearly see the grey color of natural tofu. I was expecting a much higher level of disguise (especially if you think that Chloe is someone who has won Master Chef), at least like the Quorn vegan nuggets, which inside seem to be real pieces of chicken, with a very similar texture and color to the original. Also, the fries were cold and the peas tasteless, I dare say unseasoned. With a really inviting look and a mesmerising pesto sauce this meat-less-ball sub is the winner of this lunch! Super seasoned, packed with fresh vegetables, nutritional yeast and a rich vegan mayonnaise. The very tasty meat-less-balls had almost a meaty consistency... I was truly amazed by how they managed to work the meat and make it palatable even to omnivores! The burger is a bit the wallflower of the gang, I would say. It is easily blurred in the vortex of flavours from the other dishes, and in fact I forgot about it quite quickly. It's like the classic sad McDonald's Happy Meal burger, with a real green leaf added as a garnishment! The sweet potato fries on the other hand were absolutely delicious. Deep fried to perfection, pretty dry, accompanied by mini bowls of mayonnaise and vegan ranch, which by the way were fire!

It is a new fancy youngster vegetarian chain that offer cleansing choices. They were actually quite tasty and I don't even need to add "as vegetarian dishes." The issue is really, as I expect, that one must order a lot to meet the "big portion that fills you up to the burst point" standard.

I moved to London from New York about half a year ago and I was ecstatic when I heard from my friend that by Chloe was opening in Convent Garden. I sprained my ankle the week of but still came here anyway. Their menu is pretty much the same as New York with some additional items catered to the London population. Specifically, the vegetarian version of fish & chips and shepherd's pie are exclusive to London branches. However, I didn't bother with these as I'm not a huge fan of their regular versions anyway. The stars of by Chloe in my opinion are the Guac Burger and the Quinoa Taco Salad. The Guac Burger is absolutely delicious and filling and I always have to get some air baked sweet potato fries to go with this. Also, their beet ketchup and chipotle mayo is so good, I wish these would replace the regular ketchup and mayo. The Quinoa Taco Salad has loads of flavor and texture and it doesn't feel like eating a salad at all. My favorite part is that the avocado isn't extra. Other times, I get the Avocado Toast, which comes with a seasonal and unique combination of toppings. The 7 grain bread they use is so yummy and the avocado to toast ratio is on point. The only negative for me was that all the food didn't taste as great as they do in New York. I can't help comparing this to my experiences in NY since that is where I fell in love with by Chloe. It's still delicious though so this won't stop me from coming back!

Classic burger and the mac and cheese

This place is super cute and would be a nice place to hang out/do some work. I thought the food I got was only ok but I would go back again to try more - the brunch and desserts looked appetizing but I didn't get a chance to try either. Ordered the classic burger- the actual patty was pretty good but I wasn't a fan of their bread. The sauces they have- sriracha mayo and beet ketchup- are really good. They even went well with the mac & cheese I ordered. As I'm not a vegan, I have higher expectations from my mac & cheese but I still think it was good pasta.

I LOVE this place; and this location is for some reason my favorite in London. The food is so good and the staff is always so so friendly. My favorite item on the menu is the sweet potato fries (air fried).

Came with 5 friends and was super excited to try by Chloe out! Didn't meet our expectations whatsoever. Morning oats was super tiny. Sweet potato fries were good as well as the fresh strawberries. Service was horrible, and would not come back at all.

Fish and chips, tomato soup! Sticky pudding, classic burger and fries

Excellent! The fish and chips were spot on and the sticky pudding was a perfect close to the meal. Yum! The tomato soup was a big thumbs up as well.

We got the classic burger and Greek salad! Great vegan spot, service with a smile! Cool swing chairs!

Visited this location twice during my trip to London. I was ravenous during my first visit - burger, mac and soup were really good! I found it to be a bit pricey, but it was worth it. Second visit, the mac wasn't as good - unfortunately. When I shared that comment to a staff member, he compensated me with a cookie. :-)

I was beyond excited to find out that by Chloe had opened in London so naturally I had to go immediately the day after I found out. The cafe was large and had a lot of seating space, and the decor gave it a very vibrant atmosphere. I decided to have the Spicy Thai salad since I was still full from breakfast, thinking that it would be lighter than the Classic Burger...but the salad was huge and justified the hefty price of £9.95 (expensive by singaporean standards since it was nearly 18SGD!) it came with marinated tofu, edamame, crispy wonton skins, quinoa and a salad base of lettuce and kale (?) with a peanut dressing. The salad was really tasty with the tempeh but I think the dressing could've been more flavourful as it didn't really have a peanutty taste. I also bought a slice of banana bread on the way out since it seemed more worth it than the chocolate chip cookie, but it wasn't great. It barely had the usual banana taste and was more like a vanilla cake with chocolate chips and walnuts to me. The top of the bread was also somehow very brittle and crunchy and more like a cookie as it broke off from the bread easily. The other baked goods like the cupcakes looked good though, and I'd like to try them another time. This location also had London specials like fish & chips and shepherds pie, which was quite unique and sounded really good as well. Their special chipotle aioli and beet ketchup were also so tasty! The staff were also really welcoming and prepared my food quickly, despite being a bit unfamiliar since it had just opened. Overall, my visit was really enjoyable and I'll definitely be back/to the US locations.

    Super cute menu!

This place is just so darn cute!! Great plant based food options and an instagram-able ambiance. I came to visit because I heard it was a US restaurant that branched into the UK. No disappointments here. We tried a cookie, a burger, the fries, a cold pressed juice and shot, pasta, sauces, and kombucha and not one thing was less than yummy (okay, I don't like the beer ketchup but my friend loved it). I will definitely be going back when I'm in London!

    Kale Caesar

Have been wanting to come here for a while now, finally got the chance to go! We ordered the Pesto Meatball sandwich as well as the Kale Caesar salad. Both were good, although there was a mix up with the kale Caesar and getting shell of avocado in it etc. although there was the mix up, their customer service made up for it immensely and was absolutely phenomenal. I am utterly impressed and regardless of the mess up I would come back just for the staff, but let's be real, the food was INCREDIBLE. I would HIGHLY recommend coming here!

The London by CHLOE restaurants are poor copies of the New York Ones. The food is mediocre by comparison.

After popping in and waiting for 7 minutes in the line, I finally got to ask the lady at the counter if they actually make some real California burritos, like you know, with French fries instead of rice. Which was met with the most puzzled stare...anyways, I ended up ordering a classic burrito which was ok, but still feeling like I got tricked into this. I've had my first Tortilla-burrito at Yelp event a while back and chatting with the owner, I found out that he's actually from San Francisco - which probably explains why I like their burritos. And since the event, I've kind of made Tortilla my default-Mexican food stop when my craving gets too strong. My tip: when you get a steak or pork burrito - ask them to NOT squeeze out the juice. I find that a juicy (well-lubricated) burrito is much tastier. Also, do invest in extra-guacamole, as this will uplift the flavour tremendously. (They are a little stingy on the guacamole though.)
