Wild Fork Foods is a very different kind of food company that has around 30-40 brick and mortar locations in the U.S with a heavy concentration in Florida. There are some in Pennsylvania, Illinois, Texas and California! If you are lucky enough to have one by you I'd suggest a visit or delivery to try out some of their excellent products. They have specialty meats that you cannot find easily in most markets, seafood and fish. Lot's of different cuts and even wonderful side dishes and desserts that will surprise you. They have frozen herbs and veggies for cooking that make things so much easier portioned perfectly and some even seasoned. They even have some really good frozen foods that have surprised us by being delicious and great quality which was quite unexpected. We really loved the beef and chicken empanadas, the basque cheesecake and the ground beef quality is exceptional! I was so happy to find my flat iron steaks and so much more all at very affordable prices. The delivery is also a nice touch everything comes perfect kept at the right temperature and hand delivered within the time that they tell you. The first delivery is free and if you'd like you can sign up and pay for $29.00 for the year for unlimited same or next day delivery with orders $35.00 or more and access to exclusive deals or early access to new products. Wild Fork is a unique store selling all different kinds of proteins, frozen meals, frozen vegetables and more. They have a few locations around and the closest to us is in Dr Phillips. I have never been to Wild Fork but I have heard about them and definitely wanted to check them out. We spoke with Jose who gave us an amazing background of Wild Fork. Jose gave us a detailed explanation of their store, some of their unique items such as alligator, elk, kangaroo and more. He pretty much sold us on their delivery service as well. It was a great explanation. We decided we had to look around and ended up buying a bunch of stuff! Their Prices are pretty reasonable with one item we purchased (pork wrapped in bacon) for only $2.50. Some things were a little bit More expensive but still very reasonable prices. I definitely think this is going to be our place to go for proteins. I can't wait to try and make some bison chili, recommend by Jose! The store is laid out really well, it's organized, color coded and everything is labeled. It's also very clean inside. They do sell a lot of unique seasoning, we also picked up a blackening seasoning and a sweet basil and garlic as well as the Taco Seasoning and Chicago Chop. So I've been shopping here for a while. It's a really nice place and they do have a lot of exotic meats, also super premium meat. The space it's so clean and organized, all frozen and vaccum sealed. They even carry a5 wagyu. The only downside it's when you order online, as you pay by price, sometimes bill can end 30% high (when they choose the heavier pieces) so be prepared to increase your price at 30% or not. They do have chicken hearts and a lot of sausages (not those American sweet sausage) The bag come with Insulated foam inside, really good. read more

Jose was the associate that educated me about this grocery store and what it offers. He was sooo amazing and super knowledgeable about the products and how to make the food. I am definitely going to buy items in Fort Lauderdale when I am back home. I asked him if he was the supervisor and he said he is not and I told him that he needs to be. He knew where the fish and the shrimp comes from and he told me the difference between wild caught and farm raised. I am so grateful that I was able to talk to him and he motivated me to cook more. I was here for a yelp event and had not been here before. I was honestly completely unaware of them. I researched them online first and like what I saw there. I stopped in first thing in the morning right after they opened. It took my time and walked through looking at a lot of of their merchandise, but I did not get to see everything. I stopped and checked out quite a few items that I would be interested in purchasing in the future. In the end, I bought some pork breakfast sausage and some hotdogs. The breakfast sausage was really good, but I haven't gotten to the hotdogs yet. Thanks to the yelp event. I got some pretty cool swag, and I got to try their hazelnut and cocoa mini beignets. These were truly worth having and I will get more in the future. You can keep them frozen and then warm them up to room temperature when you're ready to serve them. I'm wondering if they were heated in the microwave for five or 10 seconds if they would be even better. Something for me to try in the future. I just have to be careful not to get burned. They have such good prices on their meat that I am looking forward to Trying out some of the exotics that they have available. But they even had a better price on hamburger than any place else I shopped. I hope to be back in in the next week or two to pick up one or two more items. The employees were very friendly And the store was very clean. I was offered assistance while shopping and got some advice when I was checking out. I also got one of their firecracker seasonings and I'm trying it on all kinds of foods. It's a bit of a mixture of sweet and spicy so you do have to be careful how much you use depending on the flavor profile you are looking for. If you are doing any type of entertaining, then this should be one of your first stops. In addition to meat and seafood they have a wide selection of frozen goods. I really love Wild Fork. I first went to one a few years ago in Boca. Since then I have also visited in Encinitas when I have been in San Diego. So when I saw this one was open, I had to stop by after a trip to Disney. I love that they have a wide variety of products. They have almost any type of protein you could imagine but then they also have plenty of sides, pastas, sauces, seasonings, ready to eat meals, breads and other items. There is always something new to discover. Their quality of meat is very good. They have lots of marinated meats and recipes or easy week night meals as well as items to make luxury, specialty or fun meals. Their steaks are great. The chicken is good. The corned beef is very good. I absolutely love their blueberry lemon scones! I cannot walk out without finding some inspiration for upcoming meals. I really like their sausages like the chorizo or Argentinian style sausage. They have breakfast burritos and easy items. The store is not huge but has a great selection. The employees working in the store are friendly and they even do events where they will let you taste items and give you tips for cooking at home. I will be back again and again! read more

Truth be told I am not in this area often however I did stop at a business down the street so I decided to get some frozen veggies. The veggies here range from $1.50 to $1.98. I grabbed most of the one dollar and 50 veggies and my total was $7.64. They have a lot of new things in wild Fork such as they make their own spice rubs now as well as barbecue sauce. They also allow home delivery if you're within the area of the current store; Plus they have wild Fork gift cards. Great spot for high quality meats. They have a large selection including wagu and prime cuts. Everything is frozen but it is frozen a specific way in an air tight bag and it does not reduce the quality of the meat. Their prices are also very competitive, these same cuts at other grocery stores are almost double the price. The only real downside is the fact that you can't buy it and cook right away if it's a thick cut you have to let it thaw. But you can thaw even thick cuts pretty quickly in cold water within 30 minutes and the thin cuts you can cook right away or just let it thaw in about 10 minutes. The place isn't very big but it's extremely easy to walk around and isn't ever too busy. read more

Wild Fork is the provisioner that I did not know I needed, but now that I have "discovered" it, I cannot do without it! I have been using Wild Fork for about a year and I now purchase almost all of my meat and seafood from the Dr. Phillips location. Prices are very good and generally better than area grocery stores. Meats and seafood are flash frozen in a way that remarkably preserves freshness. As others have noted, the store is as clean as a grocery store I have ever visited. Staff have been consistently friendly and responsive. While I do go into the store regularly, I generally make most purchases for scheduled delivery (a service provided through Roadie, or so I believe). All deliveries have been on time. (I do not have to pay for individual deliveries as I purchased a premium membership, although membership is not required. With my membership, I get free delivery, but I do tip the driver.) Wild Fork offers a large number of products that I have not seen in other grocery stores. In addition to meat and seafood, I have also found the frozen vegetables, and even baked products and pizzas, to be excellent. read more

This is my new favorite grocery store for meat and seafood! When you walk in it's so nice and clean and the employees are soooooo nice! They have any and every meat you can think of and it looks so fresh! Today I got lamb chops and mussel meat, I can't wait to try it! This particular Wild Fork location is located in the Dr. Phillips area of Orlando. With that being said, I'm sure you can understand that traffic getting here is a nightmare. However, once you go through these doors oh, you have walked into a foodie's version of utopia. Wild Fork is an amazing place to get your meat and seafood. They also have good vegetables and surprisingly, I really enjoyed their rustic bread. The staff here are friendly and professional and they have a great selection of food. Be advised that all the meat, seafood, vegetables, even the bread is flash frozen and while I have always preached that food should not be frozen, Wild Fork has shown me the error of my ways. While they have a lot of products priced for all to enjoy daily, they also have Wagyu A5 at something like $130.00 a pound. Oh, also for an indulgent (and affordable) option, try the Berkshire pork. I would definitely recommend this location of Wold Fork and give them five stars. read more

I bought tomahawk, picanha and short ribs. After we did the tomahawk to perfection we threw up 1h after. I thought it was something else what we ate like oysters or something. A week after I bought picanha and short ribs. The ribs were tough after 3,5h at 270 degrees and wraped. Had better once from Aldi... The picanha was dead... I dont mean I cooked it dead it just smelt like the death itself. Colorwise fine pink. I had the dry aged one. Took it out of the freezer over night in the fridge...don´t see what was wrong. I recently moved to Orlando and have been on the lookout for a decent butcher shop. Based on recommendations from local Facebook groups, I decided to check out Wild Forks. Honestly? I'm disappointed. This place doesn't feel like a butcher shop; it feels more like a gas station with pre-packaged food. Most of it appears to have been frozen for a long time. When I asked the lady at the counter if there was any way to tell when the items were frozen, she simply said, "no idea." I did some research online and discovered that Wild Forks is owned by JBS, the biggest beef producer in the world with a shady reputation. Their approach is to buy proteins when prices are low and flash freeze them (which I don't have an issue with). However, I'm not keen on buying a ribeye that's been frozen for six months. Proteins should ideally be frozen for no more than a month to maintain their flavor. Seems like buying at Wild Forks is no better than buying at my local Winn Dixie... so no idea what the crazy is all about. I must say, the $5 desserts were excellent. But when it comes to proteins, Wild Forks is a pass for me. The search for a good butcher shop continues! read more

What a wonderful addition to the Orlando area. All of their products are frozen and they have a huge variety of different cuts of meats, seafood, desserts, and even meals to just pop in the micro or oven. They even have seasonings and rubs in the front. The staff is very friendly and knowledgable about their products. The meat quality is awesome. We've shopped here a couple times and the meat always tastes great. They have your regular cuts as well as "fancier" cuts like A5 Wagyu beef. I heard about Wild Fork when I searched for wild-caught salmon. The closest location was in Boynton Beach, so I ordered delivery. When I heard that this Orlando location opened up, I was extremely ecstatic! My husband and I went as soon as we could. They open at 8:00 am so we were there around 8:40 am. We were like kids in a candy store (but over-the-hill-aged kids). I wanted to buy everything, but I felt like we were already at our $300 budget, so we checked out. We came up under $200!!! Josh informed us that locations in Winter Park and Oviedo were opening and I got even happier because both are closer to our house. Scammer has differnt locations nationwide. I was offered free shipping on website as a new customer but I was charged for shipping. Food was unprotected; drice ice was inexistant, although there were plastic empty bags but there was not moisture in the package. No invoice was provided. Let me start off by saying we will continue shopping with them, however our recent purchase included the Chilean Sea Bass 16oz package. Upon cooking the two filets from the package we weighed them to monitor our protein intake and the combined weight was 7.8 ounces for both of them, well below the 16oz they claimed for $31.99 per pound. I contacted the toll free line expecting them to say they had a packaging error or some sort of apology, but I guess that was expecting too much. A gentleman named Ram simply said I'll notify the marketing team? Not sure what they will do but still served of no value to me. I called the Sand Lake location, but their phone doesn't work. I called the Winter Park location only to be told it's too bad I didn't buy it here and I would have to let the other store know, even though they acknowledged there is no working number? So buyer beware, if you want Chilean Seabass go to Whole Foods. That day it was $29.99 per pound and I would have received a full pound. I have ordered delivery from this meat market 2x now and it has been absolutely AMAZING! High quality, unique, and great tasting meats of all sorts and sizes. From your typical beef, pork, and chicken, to your more gamey experiences like elk, alligator tenderloins, or ostrich--this place HAS IT ALL and for great prides too! Of course you're paying a premium rate for anything you can't buy at a regular store like a Publix or Walmart. However, it's great to learn how to cook such things like venison or rabbit and this place delivers not only for free (min purchase req), but also in a 24HR timeframe (some restrictions apply). Don't Be Fooled!!! We have been purchasing from WildFork for a little over a year now, although the service has been great and the store seems to have very knowledgeable employees we have experienced some severe quality issues in their beef and chicken products mainly beef ribeye's. After contacting the store, a few times, and speaking to a manager, in regards to the quality of beef, I decided to do a bit of my own research, particularly the parent company of WildFork. Be warned something major is going on with the beef and chicken sold from this place, disguised as fresh farm to table/frozen within seconds of butchering high quality meat. This conglomerate has disguised itself as a fresh farm to table organization, when in fact they're owned by JBS the largest meat packer in the world, to give you an idea of how big JBS's operation are they slaughter over 50,000 cattle a day, i'm sure this is not the small farm to table operation you imagined it is. In fact, Florida Senator Marco Rubio wants to open investigation into WildForks parent company JBS USA And it's Brazilian counterparts! I will no longer shop at any wild forks and support my local businesses and butchers! An establishment that is clean, has friendly staff, and a great selection of meat products. Everything I've gotten here (from pork ribs to rabbit to smoked salmon) has been excellent quality and of reasonable price. I tracked it online and watched the delivery person drive all over the place and they never came to my address. Ive been trying to call/email/text customer service since 12pm and have been unable to get through in any way. You cannot contact the store, you can't contact the delivery company and their chat function on the website doesn't work. I kept trying to call them and just put on hold. I received a text 4 hours after the end of my delivery window time telling me my order was unable to be delivered and is being returned. How is that possible when they never showed up?
