For our last day in Orlando, we decided to use a hotel dining coupon and were pleasantly surprised by the experience. Our server, Fredy, made the meal even more enjoyable. He was attentive, friendly, and took the time to show us an easier technique for cracking a whole lobster. When we requested extra gloves and lobster crackers, he made every effort to find them, which we truly appreciated. The steamed lobster was fresh, sweet, and satisfying, while the prime rib was tender, flavorful, and cooked well. Overall, the food was enjoyable, and we left happy with our meal. The only area that could use some improvement was the dessert selection. While there were a few classic options like cookies, brownies, pecan pie, and ice cream, the variety was fairly limited compared to the quality of the main dishes. I would honestly love to give this place a better review. Mostly because the service was absolutely outstanding. Also the place was fun with the other patrons interacting at the buffet area and the concept of all you can eat lobster is highly enticing. The problem is that the price is still around $70 and the food is just not all that good. Don't get me wrong. It is not bad and I had an awful lot of that lobster but if you're expecting a delicious steamed lobster cooked perfectly and looking like the ones in the pictures that they advertise, you will be sorely disappointed. I know that I was. First of all the lobsters are all culls. Secondly, they are somewhat overcooked and rubbery and consistency. Thirdly they're small and since they only serve one at a time, you're done in a few bites and have to get back in line. The snow crab claws are actually pretty good but still overcooked and somewhat difficult to get the meat out of. The other offerings vary and so does the flavor and quality of it. The clam chowder does not have that wonderful New England flavor to it. Nobody was at the roast beef station to cut the meat the entire time I was there. The lobster mac & cheese seem to have sat for a while and lacked both lobster and flavor. The crabcakes were completely lackluster. Overall, it was a fun experience but high price for the quality of the food you receive. I really did like the service and enjoyed my mail, but cannot justify this price point for poor quality and overcooked lobster. For the price I can get one really well cooked lobster at a fine restaurant. That would be my choice. read more

Just checked out Boston Lobster Feast. If you're looking for an all-you-can-eat seafood spot, it's worth trying at least once, especially if you're visiting Orlando. At around $70 per person, it feels geared more toward tourists than locals. The food was hit or miss for me. A lot of the items could've used more seasoning, and some dishes were a little dry. The lobster mac and cheese wasn't my favorite, the crab cakes didn't do much for me, and the London broil was just okay. On the positive side, the ceviche was actually really good, and the bar setup is one of the best parts of the restaurant. I also wish they offered a bigger dessert selection. The atmosphere is chill and comfortable, although the music could be a little louder to bring more energy to the room. What really stood out was the staff. Everyone took great care of us from the moment we walked in. Shoutout to Bella for her hard work and excellent service. The ladies at the front door were welcoming and helped us right away, which made a great first impression. Overall, it's a solid 3-star experience. I'm not sure how I ended up here...It was the giant lobster on the car that lured me in. I normally do not like buffets. I either over stuff myself or not eat enough to get my money's worth. And yet, somehow I ended up here. I suppose I fell for the tourist trap... My server, Mario, must have felt bad that I was dining alone because he came to my table many times. He took excellent care of me and brought out extra lemon and a bowl with hot water and lemon for me to keep my hands clean between my servings of lobster. For $69.99, it was all you can eat lobster, crab, seafood, and other cooked dishes. I had a total of 3 lobsters. They were rather small in size but the lobster meat was sweet. The crab legs were overly salty. I couldn't eat any of the exposed meat so I only ate the meat inside the claws. I had some octopus salad, which was good. The salmon was a bit dry. My favorite item was the spicy seafood gumbo. I could've just eaten that and be extremely happy. The dessert selection was nice. I had a bite of the key lime pie, pumpkin cheesecake, cookie, and 2 pieces of flan. They were all very good. If you don't want to participate in the buffet, there's a menu with an à la carte option. guess this place is better suited for lobster lovers. I don't care for lobster, so the $69 price tag already felt like a bit much for me. I do, how ever, enjoy good crab legs but the ones on this buffet were a total letdown. These crabs looked malnourished! LOL. Some were even black and looked like they'd been sitting on that buffet for a week. YUCK! There's a wide variety of food on the buffet, but most of it looked old, tired, and overcooked. Definitely not worth $69 for rice, wings, and chicken fingers. My server was sweet, but the service alone isn't enough to get me back. Next time I'm in Orlando, I'll just head down the street to Juicy Crab or better yet, go to Publix and have them season and steam me some crabs for $15! read more

The food was absolutely amazing. My only complaint is that there is no real structure when it comes to the buffet line. The lines can get pretty long and a lot of people will cut the line to go all the way to the end for the lobster and crab legs, which isn't fair to the rest of the people standing in line waiting their turn. There needs to be some kind of order for the line as it can easily get out of hand. Outside of that the food is excellent and the service was good too. This is a hidden gem for sure. read more

Desserts were minimal, and the whole spread felt more like a basic buffet than a "feast." Also, the photo setup was strange. A staff member took pictures of guests, which was fine--but then they printed all the photos whether people bought them or not. What happens to the ones no one purchases? Just tossed? It felt wasteful and unnecessary. Either give them to guests or don't print them at all. With three people in our party, it was a pricey and underwhelming experience. I just want to give a big hug of grace for the staff. They were working overtime to get everyone seated and for that reason they deserve appreciation. The place is good for what it is an experience to try as much seafood as you can. Mussels, shrimp, crab, prime rib and as many lobsters as you can eat. The line to make plates can get a bit long and the food isn't piping hot but for what it is me and my family enjoyed it. It's not an upscale eatery but for a buffet the items were cooked well and everything seemed ok. I liked some items more than others but overall it was a good restaurant. Great selection all around. For my crab and lobster lovers, this is your spot! All you can eat and it's worth the bite. The salad bar is fresh, the seafood spread has tons of variety, and there are plenty of savory options beyond the usual buffet. You can also order fries and hushpuppies made to order, dropped fresh and served piping hot. Dessert? Don't skip it. I always grab a little sampler plate of mini pecan pie tart, cookies, carrot cake and vanilla ice cream cup. All so good! Both locations have the same, if not similar, options, so whichever you pick, you'll leave happy and full. Highly recommend for anyone who loves seafood and a good value. Want a photo-op? Came here for our our host anniversary dinner. This was definitely not worth it and I'd rather have gone to Red lobster. The lobster itself came from a swamp. Very dry service was great. That's about the only thing. Good about this place. The desserts come in like miniature form for a child. Ice cream comes in a cardboard cup. Fish was dry. It's bypassed this place if you can. Manager Igor took my complaint about one of the lobsters I ate that was full of sand like it came from the bottom of a Louisiana swamp and all he said was here. Let me get you some more. I recently checked out the Boston All-You-Can-Eat Lobster Buffet at its new location, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The updated space is bright, airy, and very clean--definitely a step up from the old spot. The food? Absolutely fresh and served piping hot. The highlight, of course, was the lobster and Alaskan snow crab--both flavorful and plentiful. Be aware they serve only one lobster and two claws at a time, which helps control portions, but you're welcome to return for more. There was a huge variety beyond seafood, including fried chicken, fried vegetables, boiled corn, fresh salads, and two rich, delicious soups: lobster bisque and clam chowder. Honestly, there were too many options to list, and everything looked tempting. For dessert, they have small pastries and some ice cream--just the right sweet finish. While they seem to have a 2-hour dining limit, it wasn't posted anywhere, and it didn't quite feel like enough time to sample everything. If you're a seafood fan, this buffet is well worth the visit. We were looking forward to the Boston Lobster feast all day after a day at one of the parks. We were excited to get seated right away in the bar area as it is not as noisy as the main dining room. Francois and Crystal were our servers and they were awesome. Unfortunately we were really disappointed with the food itself. We had been here years ago, for an October vacation, and everything was great. The lobsters were really rubbery. The other food items were room temp even though the food was sitting under food lamps. When they brought out the crab cakes, they were hot and tasty, I just happened to be right there when they came out. The line to get to the bar to get any food was about 20+ people deep. They have it set up in such a way that it is very hard to get food in a timely manner. The line to get to the food bar was long, then the lobsters were at the very end. It was about a 15-20 minute wait to stand in line just to get a refill of food. Seems they set up the food line in this manner intentionally to discourage people from getting lobsters. The general manager did offer to bring lobsters to our table but we had already filled up on other food, and we were not happy with the whole experience so we paid and left. They may be better during the week or not on a holiday/spring break weekend but we we're very disappointed. read more

The only truly positive part of this meal was the attitude of the managers and my servers outstanding performance (I left a 55% tip). The food was subpar. ALL OF IT! And I mean... NO PART OF THE BUFFET WAS SOMETHING WORTH COMING FOR (with the exception of the butter and clam strips. The clam strips were excellent and the butter was pretty good and stayed surprisingly warm and liquid throughout the meal, which is actually pretty sus too) The salads were gross. The sides were gross. The oysters on the half shell looked excellent, but weren't shucked free, so they came apart and were a mess. EVERY SINGLE ITEM I tried had issues except the butter and clam strips. Even the meatballs, which looked promising, were extruded and aerated and had the density of a damp sponge. The clam chowder should at least have been a hit. Nope, sub-sub-par. The prime rib looked half great and half awful. I've never quite seen anything like it. They had a variety of crab and other seafood, but the snow crab was the only one I was interested in and that was on a scale of 1-10 (restaurant snow crab), this was somewhere in the 2-3 range. They also had all you can eat lobster, which is pretty impressive. But it's heavily guarded, served to you by an employee and you must wade through the entire line each time you want one. The lobsters were on the smaller side. None of that bothers me and I fully understand. The lobsters were at least hot, but the claws were relatively small and while there was a somewhat meaty tail (can't complain), it was pretty stringy and chewy. Still... at least you get it and I ate two. I probably ate the equivalent of 5 crab leg clusters, but I only got the equivalent meat of about 1 decent crab cluster. My two lobster tails equaled about one decent sized small lobster tail. My cost was $79, which included a drink I also had to pay for separately. Every item on the dessert board had some funky taste associated with it. I would rather they charged an extra $20 and gave me better quality. Hell, I would have paid an extra $50 if they gave me any kind of quality on the easy things like the clam chowder and shrimp dishes and desserts and such. But everything I had was an obvious compromise by the business to maximize profits and minimize investment in the food quality. The only other consolation was my drinks were filled frequently with fresh cups. Probably another tactic to keep my stomach full of liquid rather than lobster and crab. Was the price fair for what they put out? I'm sure it was, to be honest. But what they put out isn't something I would ever return for. And that perhaps is their business model. To take as much as they can from the gullible seafood searching tourists and not worry about the return business. If so, it worked and they got their pound of cash for a pound of flesh. I had high hopes. It had an amazing variety. But I guess my friend was right when he told me to just go to a good seafood restaurant and order extra crab legs or whatever. The price won't be all that different, but the quality certainly will. And that is probably the advice I'll take next time. I left a big tip for my waiter, far bigger than if I went to a finer restaurant. So would it have been about the same price to load up on crab clusters at Red Lobster or go for endless shrimp? Yeah, probably. And a nicer environment too! Lesson learned. read more

Having heard of Boston Lobster Feast for years, I finally went after family wanted to check it off their list. I did not have the highest expectations figuring it's a big tourist trap. And in a way, it is. But overall it was a good experience! It is a high price, but considering what they offer it seemed reasonable. Definitely ideal for those who eat lobster to get your money's worth. They offer a good variety of seafood salads, seafood classics, and even have some non-seafood options (select meats, chicken, macaroni, etc). The main items (crab legs and lobster) were overall decent. The crabs did tend to be on the soft side, signaling overcooked. Additionally, there are no pick tools so every fork is bent from people trying to get at the meat. You get 2 hours, and there's no pressure of any kind if you're going up frequently. All the service was fantastic and those workers definitely WORK. Everyone was busy and doing their best to provide efficient service. The dessert offerings are pretty good to end the evening and while there is the typical "photo" experience where they have a photographer come to take pictures of you they do a unique thing where the provide you with one photo of their choice even if you don't buy the photo package. I thought this was a nice gesture - though I would still expect that with technology there might be a better focus than printing photos which people may not purchase and wasting the ink and paper. If you want a fun, fancier buffet vibe and your group enjoys lobster then it's worth checking out! If you aren't really a lobster eater then you may be better off not partaking as it could be difficult to eat enough to be worth the experience. read more
