Entrance to Wild Fork on Sheldon

I was definitely impressed with the cleanliness of Wild Fork and the variety of products. Not just meats, but a huge selection of accompaniments from fruit...ok, maybe not fruit but definitely nuts, pretzels, and spices. They have a selection of soups and fish. They were restocking and pricing when I came in. But stopped to answer questions and show me where things were. Want something different for dinner. This must be the place!

First time visiting because I had a gift certificate from Christmas to use. I was excited because I know they have duck and game meat and I am big on both. I ended up leaving with a bag of Argentinian red shrimp a bag of trout filets a bison steak a duck breast with cajun seasoning. Unfortunately they were out of venison tenderloin but hopefully they will have it when I return. Since they didn't have the venison tenderloin, I picked up the bison steak instead. In addition to what I purchased, I can report that there are tons of other things you won't find in grocery stores including a big bag of chicken livers, oxtail, fancy Iberian pork and more. I was surprised the prices were not bad. My bison steak was actually less than regular beef steaks at Publix. The shrimp was also on sale and on $10 for the bag. They also have other non meat items but I was there for the meat and seafood. I look forward to making my items and expect to fo back.

At first I thought this was a restaurant. Nope, even better! A much needed specialty food store that's been sorely missing in the area. Don't let the smaller size deceive you, it's packing all the right things especially in meats and seafood departments! This place has been open a few years now, but honestly the word needs to get out more about it. With a clean cut and upscale vibe, I love how everything is laid out. Until today, I have never been impressed with grocery store organization, and this has some quick food education on each section. The organization is top tier, along with so much food variety! They have even some basics like frozen dinners and frozen veggies, so don't think it's only about the meats. I hope the pictures I took really speak to the special care that goes into these displays. If cleaner eating is your thing, or interesting cuts you won't find elsewhere, it's worth checking out this spot. If you're a foodie, it'll be hard to walk out empty handed (I bought several packages of specialty sausage blends I can't wait to try). Oh and they have a good selection of seasonings and rubs and sauces meant to complement. The staff, super helpful. If A5 Wagu is your thing, talk to employee Josh and he'll help you navigate options! They also have a pickup freezer and free delivery with membership. Worth checking out!

YAK...IT'S WHAT'S FOR DINNER! (Apologies to the Cattlemen's Beef Association) Bored of cooking the same old thing day in, day out, week after week? Come here for inspiration! This place is amazing! Everything is frozen, but, they have heat-n-eat, thaw-n-serve, soups, appetizers (snails in shell with garlic butter, anyone?), fish, fowl, meat, and offal! Even dessert! At least 4 different flavors of smoked salmon (gin and tonic? Mojito?) Pheasant, duck, dry aged, grass-fed beef! And, in the back corner of the store (which isn't very big) is a case of exotic ground meats! Bison, venison, ostrich, wild boar, kangaroo, and yes, YAK! It is in the same Plaza as Sprouts, so, over there next for fancy buns and home to get the charcoal grill fired up. We are eating good tonight!

This place is awesome! The selection, the price, it's all amazing. And the quality of the beef was as described. I've always gotten my meats from Costco but the prices here beat Costco and the selection was better. This is going to become a typical spot for my meats. Everything is sealed and frozen well so you can keep them in your freezer as long as you need it.

This supermarket has excellent prices and is super clean!! Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Selections range from exotic game meats (ostrich, bison, etc) to fancy meat (wagu steaks) to a large fish selections to kosher chicken.

Great store for high quality meats. I was look for some Portuguese sausage that we had during a recent trip to the Azore Islands and they had it. I will certainly be back when I need that special cut of meat.

Great quality frozen chicken. 5 lb bag of frozen chicken breast comparable price to 5lb package of fresh chicken from Walmart. Thawed beautifully. No large ice crystals tearing through the meat and minimal juices once thawed.

Started with a dozen Massachusetts oysters served on a raised plate over a rack -- fresh, with a proper mignonette (not just cocktail sauce) and tiny precision spoons for dosing it. Small detail, made a real difference. The 7oz A5 Wagyu filet is the move if you're willing to spend. It practically dissolves. The waiter talked me into adding roasted Wagyu bone marrow on the side rather than on the steak itself -- no clear winner between eating it with or without, which tells you the steak alone was already doing the work. My friend's 8oz Prime disappeared just as fast at the table. Crispy Brussels sprouts and a smoked-carrot daily special both held their own as sides, though nothing was going to outshine the meat. Dessert: the Flaming Key Lime Pie, torched and tequila-flamed tableside. Genuine theater, and it actually tasted as good as it looked -- key lime custard, torched meringue, coconut gelato, passionfruit and white chocolate running through it. Bonus points for the manager who, when asked about their oddly perfect stay-cool teacups, admitted without hesitation they'd bought them off Amazon. No pretense, just good taste. Only real knock: it's loud. Great for a group, tough for a first date if conversation matters. Everything else here delive

The restaurant itself is beautiful, loved the esthetics. The service was exceptional! My glass was always filled and I appreciated the attention. I wasn't too fond of the hot/cold salad bar. While the selection was large, the quality wasn't there. For instance, the meat in the fried rice was overcooked. The pork belly tasted as if it was sitting there for a while. Shrimp salad had good flavor but too many shells in the salad. Roasted garlic was still crunchy/not cooked through. Few of the signs were mislabeled. The bacon covered jalapeño poppers were labeled as brown sugar bacon. That completely took me by surprise because it was quite HOT!
