From the moment I saw the seafood case, everything looked ridiculously fresh, and that freshness carried straight onto the plate. The Tides is both a seafood market and restaurant, so you're surrounded by beautiful seafood and ingredients that actually look like they belong there. Then I noticed the MICHELIN plaque outside the building and thought, wait a minute... THIS place has Michelin recognition? Apparently, yes! The Tides has earned a place in the MICHELIN Guide, which suddenly made a whole lot of sense after tasting the food. That salmon was seriously some of the best I've ever had. Fresh, beautifully prepared and so clean tasting that it didn't need a bunch of heavy sauces or nonsense piled on top. It felt like one of those rare meals that is indulgent because it's delicious, but you also walk away thinking, I actually ate something good for me. The Tides was a genuine surprise, and now I'm wondering how many other little gems I've been driving right past without knowing they were there.

The fried shrimp basket was good but the fish and chips really didnt have any taste to the cod. The slaw and potatoes were good but their food reminds me of the tourist trap seefood restaurants by the beach. Chefs should start tasting their own food to know if it tastes good or not or maybe they were raised in a bland household but someone needs to understand taste and seasoning.

The restaurant was half-empty, yet our hot food arrived without utensils. The server promised to grab them right away, but 10 minutes later, I had to go inside and track them down myself. By the time we could actually eat, our food was cold. I also ordered a second beer that didn't arrive until I was almost finished eating. The food was average, and everything was overpriced. Gigglewaters down the street is way better. UPDATE: We decided to give them a second chance on a Sunday and sat inside. Big mistake. The salmon was, by far, the worst salmon I have ever had in my entire life. To top it off, the checkout process makes the place feel like a fast-food slop joint. They tack on a $3.39 card processing fee and completely rush you out. The server interrupted our conversation, handed over a portable machine, and said, "I'll wait right here for your card." They practically breathe down your neck while the screen prompts you for an 18%+ tip for terrible service. We won't be giving this place a third chance. Main Street is full of much better options!

We enjoyed a round of drinks at the bar with the BEST bartender who gave amazing recommendations, we stuck with wine because of how awesome the list is!! Once we got to our table our server was just as great as the bartender! Gave us the best recommendations at such a cute table. The bread was phenomenal as a starter as well as the spinach arancini and bruschetta! For entrees we shared a bunch of pastas and the chicken parmesan. Everything was cooked to perfection and you can really feel the true Italian love! With barely any room for dessert in the best way, we obviously made room for the homemade tiramisu paired with the tiramisu martini, both were unbelievable. Safe to say this is one of the best experiences I've had at a restaurant recently! I was blown away by everything, everyone was SO accommodating and friendly, and the ambiance paired everything together perfect. I can't wait to come back again soon! I'll be dreaming of that tiramisu!

The service was very attentive and our server was so nice, and I really liked the low light and romantic atmosphere of the restaurant. One thing I really appreciated was our server telling us a little about the family behind the restaurant. I love supporting small businesses when I travel. Overall such a nice experience and definitely somewhere I'd recommend!

We each ordered an entree along with a side of mashed potatoes and a side of the crispy brussel sprouts. Again, both were excellent in flavor, but $8 for a "cup" of mashed potatoes to share at the table and $12 for approximately three sprouts thinnly sliced and tossed with fried onions and bacon? Hardly shareable. My seared tuna was very good and a decent size portion but seriously? You can't serve shelled edamame? Fishing the bean pods out of the sauce to clumsily try to squirt the bean out should not be happening with a dish that is $34. We ordered a bottle of wine which we all enjoyed. My last complaint is that the restaurant was extremely warm. We all were on the verge of breaking out in a sweat. For those prices, invest in some sort of better air conditioning. The service was fine. The meal was $300 with tip, and considering everything, we feel it's not worth going back.
