It was decorated in a Butterfly theme. The tables and chairs and tablecloths were beautiful. It is air conditioned and quite roomy. The food was terrific. We had some appetizers, Ice Tea, Coffee, and A Gorgeous Cake ( 4 layer ) and a Ice Cream Sundae bar. Everyone, including my Mother in Law was thrilled with the place. Last I was aware (an it may have changed), using their in-house catering is mandatory when renting. This may be off putting to some however the food has been pretty good on the times I have been here. The area is spacious and the bar area is very nice as well. We were here most recently for a club Christmas party. The food was good, the beer was cold and the place was looking festive. Parking is ample as well. Consider this venue when looking for a place for your next party, you'll be more than satisfied. Each room is decorated with a design eye with period antique pieces and vintage touches. Best of all, the owner (Jon) takes great pride in the history and restoration of a gem of a place. He is warm, welcoming, and full of stories and documentation of the special place in history. They made comments about the bride and her family as well as the groom and her family TO GUESTS at the wedding. They were also exhibiting the same behavior to an entire wedding group the day BEFORE the wedding. I know some of the other vendors who were staffed at my brides wedding personally and they even said that the coordinator is rude and hard to work with and that's it their least favorite venue to work with. The unprofessionalism of this woman ALONE would lead me to NEVER recommend this venue to another person or family who is looking to host one of the most sacred and special ceremonies of their lives. The drinks are fine, not strong and there is frequently one on special each day. The waitresses won't take drink orders if you're at a table. Getting water is even a challenge and a you will hear a complaint if you ask the server. Table service isn't quick but the food is good. As an out of town, often in town visitor I want to love it like I do my home lodge, but it's just not very welcoming. They have a nice sized outside area with a run down bocci court and frequent live music in the summer months. The building is modern and open with what looks like an area that could be used as a venue for events. A large parking lot is also available on site.

Since we began talking about this event, Bill was helpful, responded always in a timely manner, gave great suggestions, arrived before time, and performed the Service Wonderfully. I thank God for holding off the rain for most of the day. A week before, the rain expectancy was 70%. I prayed earnestly believing that it would not rain, as the Doves then would be unable to perform. From 1:00p.m. till at least 6:00p.m., it did not rain in the areas needed for the event to occur. How Great is Our God!!! And we Thank Him for His Faithful Servant Bill.
