Rude young girls here, they have a huge selection of Sodas available, I open a soda while shopping for over 100 dollars worth of merchandise. I was scolded and told I couldn't have an open soda in there and what if my card isn't accepted, well I was using cash and you sell the product, just tons of cheap imitation china's glass with stolen designs from American artists. read more

Corporate smoke shop peddling substandard import glass and unsafe products for high margins. Employees are poorly trained and are barely able to provide correct change (no receipt given either). Inventory of the store makes it so you can't depend on regularly buying items. They ID everyone no matter what you're buying, and will violate your privacy of information with their fraudulent business practices. Avoid this business, shop local owned. read more

Great selection of bongs...and great sale buy 1 get 1 1/2 off! I LOVEEEEEEE that this shop actually had bongs I had never seen before. Also they were open until 11pm which is rare in maine. My only critique would be that the sales girl walked around the store with me from the second I walked in the door. Being a novice when it came to vaping I really had no idea what I wanted or even where to begin... From the moment I walked in on a rainy Tuesday afternoon, Cameron was personable, knowledgeable, and incredibly down to earth. He told me everything and more of what I needed to know... and unlike a lot of people just "trying to sell you something", he was absolutely genuine, helpful, and just generally a pretty awesome person. I felt like I made a new friend! And his wealth of knowledge and passion were undeniable. On top of the above and beyond staff, the prices really do best any of the other shops around here, hands down!! I don't feel like half the novice I was when I walked in and am more than satisfied with the setup I went home with. And again most of all, probably the best customer service I've ever received. I used to go to a couple other head shops in Portland to get kratom. Not any more, anytime I need kratom, I will now go to Wild Side Smoke shop on Portland Street in Portland. I used to spend thousands of dollars on kratom at Awear, and then at Lucky Ju Ju. Neither place gave me any kind of discount or reward for loyalty. I happened to stop by this new place, Wild Side, on Saturday the 17th of June. Cameron, the manager, not only gave me a discount, he also gave me a loyalty reward card for when I bought kratom. The best part? I used to spend $40 at Lucky Ju Ju on 30 caps of kratom. I used to spend $30 for it at Awear. But at Wild Side Smoke shop, I bought 50 caps of Kratom Therapy for just $24. By FAR, this is the lowest price for kratom in Portland, because you not only save $10 to $20 per bottle, you get twice as much capsules of kratom. I will now only get my kratom at Wild Side in Portland, because of how Cameron treated me when I went in Friday, after being turned away at Awear. I have used kratom for 5 years, and have spent a LOT of money on it, so I will now go to Wild Side for my kratom, instead of the higher priced head shops in the old port. Cameron seems like a younger guy, but this dude knows his stuff, and more important, he treated me like I was an important person to him. I have had some good experiences here but lately I've had a really hard time getting someone to help me when I walk in the store which is super frustrating. They seem to be really busy which is awesome and all but maybe you need some than one person working the front is all I'm saying. No hate just an honest review. read more

Stopped by this cool head shop in Maine to grab kratom. Holy smokes (no pun intended) I grabbed a ton of kratom for about 1/2 the price I spend in Florida. If you need kratom in Portland Maine, this should be your stop. I grabbed maeng da, Indo, Hulu, and Bali. What would have cost me $150 in Florida was less than $75 here for a bunch of stuff. Bought a piece here today. Scored another one at an extremely low price as a part of a deal they were having. They answered all questions I had in a friendly manner. Later went to a raffle they had later in the day to hopefully win some new stuff. Excellent customer service and reasonably priced. Will definitely return here. read more
