Wild Valentine is a cafe located at 261 South Street in Portsmouth, NH. The uniqueness in this little cafe lies in its coffee + mini flower shop. There is a nice selection of hot and iced coffee and a few select breakfast/brunch items such as toasts and oats to go along with your drink. Husband ordered the avocado toast and a maple brown sugar oat bowl. Both were good. I ordered the lavender ice latte which was good too. There is a few lavender flavored drinks, iced or hot coffee or lavender lemonade as well. Perhaps the draw here is the small flower/gift shop. You can purchase premade bouquets or pick your own flowers and arrange the bouquet yourself. There is also a small gift shop with T-shirts and other small trinkets perfect for gifting. There is limited window seating inside, but more at the back and a small garden. There is also additional outdoor seating in front of the cafe. It was busy for a Sunday morning when we visited. Coffee and flowers are two of my favorite things. If in the area, I do recommend you stop by. Bring mom or a girlfriend. read more

Came here for brunch since it was down the street from my friend's place. I got an iced lavender vanilla latte and the avocado toast. Everything was sooo good. My friend got the bacon and egg oat bowl and said it was good but that the savory oats were kind of strange. The place was very cute inside. I love the fresh flower and coffee shop combination. I love the colorful, unexpected arrangements from this florist! They are more natural and 'wild' than your typical floral arrangements, and the beautiful vases are modern and can be reused as planters (see my pic of my little peperomia in her beautiful Wild Valentine planter). Absolutely stunning and one of-a-kind flower arrangements! I ordered a large wrap and used the flowers as a centerpiece for a big family dinner. They were perfect for the occasion and, added bonus, they lasted over a week! So many people asked where they were from and would stop and comment on the different types of flowers and bright colors. Ultimately, I think that's what sets Wild Valentine apart: these are definitely not your typical florist arrangements. I often host family parties and holidays and after one too many floral shop fails, filled with babies breath in a cheap glass vase, I started buying flowers by the stem then arranging them myself. That got expensive, plus it was one more thing I need to do before I can sit and enjoy the occasion! Sarah is AMAZING at what she does. I've ordered Mother's Day bouquets as well as attended workshops she hosted. She is always so friendly and knowledgeable. Wild Valentine recently did the floral arrangements for a bridal shower I hosted. I provided a few pictures from Pinterest and Sarah ran with it. She came back with three different themes we could go with and the results were amazing. You can tell she cares a lot about her work and the attention to detail is incredible.
