On October 4th, 2018 I hired Wildcat Moving Company to move furniture/boxes out of our two-bedroom apartment and then some boxes/plastic bins out of a storage area in the same apartment complex. We hired four men and two trucks, even though I did not have enough items to fill both trucks. I wanted extra help to make the moving process faster. They were supposed to arrive at 8:30am, but they did not arrive until 9:00am. Between 9:00 and 12:40pm, they cleared out our apartment. After they came back from lunch, I saw them sitting around and playing on their phones several times. (I have photos of this). I asked them to please keep working. When I asked about the storage area, they stated they had cleared all the items out of the storage area except 2 boxes that were too damaged to move. I believed what they stated, and we continued to the house to empty the truck. When I asked them to take items upstairs, they did not. I specifically asked for a chair to be taken upstairs four separate times and it was left downstairs. I went back to the apartment to do a walk through. In the storage area I was shocked to find 4 wardrobe boxes, 2-3 regular boxes and several plastic tubs. The boxes and plastic tubs were in excellent shape. (I have photos of these items). The boxes were strong enough to be dragged up the stairs (I am not strong enough to pick them up by themselves or with a dolly), across a cerement path, up the truck ramp, down the ramp, up the driveway and up a path to my front door. The boxes are still intact after all of this. I spoke with Blade about my concerns and her offered to have movers come out to finish the job. We had already moved the items, so this was not an option. I then spoke with the owner and he repeatedly stated we should not get emotional about this. I had no emotions in the issue, just stated the facts that the job was not completed. When that tactic did not work, he told me he wanted me to rank the workers in order of laziness so that he could dock their pay because it wasn't going to be coming out of his pocket. I did not feel comfortable doing this nor do I get paid to do his managerial/human resource duties, so I stuck to the facts and decided I would ask for reimbursement for my time and the cost of the truck. I have asked for a refund in the amount of $544.56. This includes the Uhaul truck we had to rent and our time it took to move the items. I have calculated the cost of moving based on what Wildcat Moving charges for two of their workers. Refund Costs in Detail: Uhaul $49.56 Working Hours - 2 Workers $495.00 (4.5 hours based on $110.00 per hour) Total Refunded Costs $544.56 He then sent me an email stating he would only give me $270 and I had to agree to take my Facebook post down and not to put any reviews up on any sites about his company. If I did not do exactly what he said, he would not give me the $270 and fix the furniture they damaged. I did not agree with his bullying and manipulative approach and continued to get abusive and manipulative toned emails from the owner. When I asked him to please stick to the facts, he refused and suggested something else was going on in my life to cause me to ask them for a refund. At that point I realized he was not going to act rational, so I asked when he would be by to fix the furniture. He at first wanted a couple of times/dates on when they could come by, but after the final off subject and abusive email, he stated he had 4-6 weeks to settle it. I asked him for a specific date several times, and he refused to give one. I have saved all emails and photos to prove this is factual information. read more

Wildcat moving guys were GREAT! After much research, we chose Wildcat Moving to unload the 3 PODs we used to move from Fort Worth, Texas to Lexington. I read many reviews on Yelp and Google and checked the BBB ratings before choosing a moving company. I think reading the reviews is important because sometimes people have unreasonable expectations. Wildcat had overall really excellent feedback from customers. The first POD was unloaded quickly and they did a great job. I'm sorry I don't have their names. The second POD was unloaded by James W. and Artem. They were on time, called ahead to let me know when they would arrive and clearly let me know the policies and options. They were both friendly and professional. They really hustled. I never saw them still or idle till every crumb was out of the POD. I had explained that before they started, we needed some things moved around in the garage to make room for things and to move some storage racks around. No problem, they said. Where my husband and I would have struggled to move the heavy racks, they picked them up like they were a sack of groceries. They took one short break as it was a hot day and let me know when it started and stopped. When everything was in its place, they went over the charges and we paid and they were on their way! I genuinely liked both of them and they left as friends. I would recommend them for any moving needs including help moving furniture if you are rearranging. When it was time to unload the 3rd POD, I of course asked for James W. and Artem but James W. was unavailable so I was lucky enough to get Anthony K. Same thing, they called ahead to let us know they were on their way and arrived before the agreed start time so we could get the paperwork done and get the POD unloaded before it was too hot. Artem and Anthony K also seemed to enjoy their work and worked well as a team. It was the same deal, we had some things from earlier PODs that we decided to use elsewhere and they helped us arrange things. Artem and Anthony K. worked around a HUGE issue we had. We had found a sewage backup a few days before we had scheduled the Wildcat guys to come and work had begun to replace the sewer line in the backyard out to the city line. This meant there was a backhoe in the back, pipe everywhere and plumbers to work around. We thought the work was going to be finished before our move but they ran into issues and it took longer than they thought. The POD was already scheduled for pickup a few days later so we couldn't delay. I saw NO attitude from Artem and Anthony, just a willingness to work with the plumbers and around them and get the things we needed into the basement or garage. Everyone worked together to meet OUR needs, which was so awesome. Moving and having plumbing issues is stressful enough. How a company handles things when there are challenges really tells you about the quality of workers they have and the way they must treat their staff. All of our things were handled with care. Artem and Anthony also helped us put a bed together and get other furniture into place so we could concentrate on the boxes. They also left as friends. I reserved Wildcat Moving for the last weekend in March 2020 but moved up the move due to concerns over the spread of the COVID-19; Wildcat accommodated my last minute change of request perfectly. I to a townhome in Jessamine County to a townhome in Lexington, KY less than 1/2 the size of my former home. I did not realize how much "stuff" I had collected and despite spending 2 weeks throwing things away it was BIG move that took over 12 hours. The 4-man team was scheduled for 9:00 AM and showed up at 8:50 AM; they called twice on the way to let me know they were coming. After parking the trucks they introduced themselves (we did not shake hands due COVID-19 precautions) and asked to be shown around the house-they were courteous and professional from the beginning. The loading went smoothly. They did exactly ZERO damage to my home, and damaged not one item. I was also carrying things to my vehicle and they smiled and made eye contact every time I passed them. They took a short break for lunch on the way to the new home and a few hours later the two trucks were unloaded, but we were not finished yet. I asked to have a few things re-positioned before they left. It was getting late by this time and they had been working constantly for 11 hours. I cannot describe how kind they were when moving things; they helped me position things in my new home and I used their suggestions. They even were able to put together a Sleep Number bed!!! Suffice it to say I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Wildcat Moving; I give them a 5-star rating. My crew consisted of Sean N., Austin H., Adi Z., and Andre S. Each person was beyond professional, beyond caring, made appropriate conversation, laughed at my lame/cheesy jokes, volunteered and went above and beyond. Courteous, professional, polite, caring, friendly, perfect demeanors, eye contact, no complaining, not even to the end. This move could not have been better; suffice it to say I received more than my money's worth which is why this review is so detailed. This is the same review I posted on Facebook. I think I said it all! I would recommend them enthusiastically and I would use them again readily and happily. Everything went right, nothing went wrong! Wildcat is not the cheapest moving company based on their hourly rate, but in the end the total cost was about the same as was quoted by other movers with slightly lower rates, and the difference was worth it in peace of mind and the care given my possessions, as well as the courtesy extended to me and my daughter. Cameron S. and AJ moved me on my birthday three days ago. They were fantastic! Better than on-time, they were there about a half hour early. Cameron explained the entire contract concisely and had me initial and sign appropriately. They asked the necessary questions about awkward pieces, extremely heavy pieces, anything unusual about the move in case they needed more crew or equipment and to help them plot loading efficiently. Then they began to MOVE! They were quick, but careful. I saw the furniture was well loaded and secured in the truck. An impressive matter of 3D Tetris. We moved on to my storage locker, and Cameron and AJ repeated the entire process, equally as well. After a brief lunch break, we went on to my new condo. The guys remained efficient and courteous, handling the freight elevator with ease and the building manager with excellent manners that spoke well for the company. In my new condo, both Cameron and AJ offered to shift furniture to my liking, which in one case involved moving three bachelor chests with hutch tops about four inches to the left. I can attest that not all movers are as pleasantly accommodating. On time, timely work, pleasant, likable, and courteous movers. Nothing damaged in transit or at either end of the move. I simply cannot say enough good things about this company. Last weekend my family and I were evicted from out apartment on Appian Way; as you can imagine our stress level was at an all time high. I had heard good things about Wildcat Moving from Angie's list so I decided to see if they could put me on the schedule as soon as possible. To my surprise, the person I spoke to over the phone was able to book me for the job the following morning at 9 am! The man on the phone must have heard the distress in my voice, but he was able to calm me down, walk me through the whole process, give me a price, and THEN even recommend a storage facility here in town. Tremendous customer service. Moving is always stressful for me, but they left me at ease. The following morning around 8:40 am I got a call from Mark, the driver who was assigned to my job letting me know that him and Kyle would be at my apartment shortly. They arrived promptly at 9am with a fire under their butts! While Mark was letting me know my insurance options and explaining the contract to me, Kyle went inside, spoke with my wife, and began moving items. By the time I had finished signing the contract and discussing my options with Mark, Kyle had filled up the entire back of the truck with smaller items! I don't know what the owner is paying these guys, but they are M-O-T-I-V-A-T-E-D. In less than 3 hours, they had moved my entire apartment nice and neatly to a storage complex off of New Circle Road. I never even saw them take a break to catch their breath! All my antiques were handled delicately as if they were their own. I was most worried about my 56' Flat Screen (aka my second wife), but they padded it with multiple blankets and strapped it to the wall. Not a single scratch! This was our first timing using a moving company and I can say with 100% honesty that we will never not do it again. Our experience was so positive I don't even know where to begin. Our movers, Michael, Speedy, and Lecolas showed up prompt and ready to go. They greeted us with professionalism and enthusiasm and wasted no time getting to work. They were efficient, organized, personable, friendly, and patient. They took time to make sure none of our furniture was damaged, none of our walls were scuffed, and that our boxes that had questionable integrity were reinforced. As a customer I felt as if my belongings and peace of mind mattered. I work third shift and get off at 0530, so I was up all night and morning worried about how things were going to go. I was put at ease through the whole process. These young men worked tirelessly and were very impressive. We had mount Everest level stairs at our old place that they tackled with ease, they made sure that everything was put where it needed to be in our new apartment. They checked in with us about the placement of every box and every piece of furniture. We were completely moved out of one apartment and into another (both 2 bedroom) in 2 hours and 8 minutes. Like seriously, that's insanely good. This was such a good experience. And while we don't plan on moving for a few years or until we buy a house, we will definitely be calling this company and requesting these three young men again, if they happen to be working here. On Tuesday May 5th, 2020 I hired Wildcat Moving Co. to move my furniture and packed boxes to a storage shed in Nicholasville. I made the appointment a month in advance. Cameron S. and Kendrick knocked on my door at 8:54 - just before our appointment time of 9 AM. I was very impressed with Cameron and Kendrick as they quickly got to work and I had a place with two stories and a heavy oak bedroom set. They were professional in appearance and demeanor and took great pride in their work. They had me moved in about 3.5 hours which is really a great thing as it saved me a few bucks compared to other moving companies I have hired in the past. I am most great full to Cameron and Kendrick for their promptness and attention to detail. I am very impressed with the Wildcat company in general as they offered me discounts with all their services. I moved from an apartment to storage and used Wildcat's storage facility and the day before the move I utilized Lady Wildcat professional packers. The entire company is well run, professional, dedicated, friendly and thorough in detail. I especially like the fact that the company accepts credit cards and takes away the hassle of certified checks and cash payments. We used Wildcat moving to move our entire home (2700 sf) from one house to another in town and they exceeded our expectations! Aldi, Cody, Billy and Tommy arrived 5 minutes before their scheduled time (9am) with great attitudes and ready to work! It took all day to pack, load and unload (until 7:30 PM) and they never once slowed down or seemed tired. They were incredibly careful with the furniture pieces and the walls when moving. We had a few large pieces to get through an awkward smallish space, which they navigated with expertise - at one point one of the guys had to scoot down the stairs on one end while the other guy lifted and turned on the other. We've had movers move these pieces in the past and really struggle, but not these guys. They knew exactly how to pack and move in what seemed to be the most efficient and effective ways possible. AND they had such great attitudes and seemed to really enjoy this hard work. They worked well together as a team and were very respectful and professional in all interactions. I was nervous about entrusting all of our belongings to the care of random people, but within the first hour, we knew we were in good hands. They went above and beyond, for example they stayed at the end of the long day and helped us roll out a carpet (and cut the carpet pad to fit!), put our sleep number bed back together and offered to stay longer to do whatever else we needed help with. let me start by saying that if you need the best in the business these guys are what your looking for. I had a unique situation where I was closing on my house at the same time I was trying to move. Very stressful. The guys over at Wildcat really made things easy on me. They had a wealth of information leading up to the move: how to pack, where to get supplies, and tips on how to prepare. As expected, no move ever goes 100% perfect. We had an issue come up at the beginning of the day where the closing got pushed up a couple hours and i was really in a bind because of extra fees for not transferring possession. Sean and Josh L worked their butts off! they hustled for me and got everything out just in time. We also had a quite large and heavy armoire that they made look like absolute child's play. And talk about respectful! it was "yes sir" and "no sir" all day long. Its refreshing to meet such nice and respectful young men. On top of everything, their price is more than reasonable for the work I received. Much cheaper than two men and a truck and college hunks. I ended up paying just under what they had originally quoted me; They beat their own quote! I also rewarded them handsomely for their efforts. I think it goes without saying that my experience with Wildcat moving was an excellent one and I will be recommending them to anyone and everyone I know. We've used Wildcat Moving 3 times in the process of relocating our office from Vermont to Kentucky. At this point, I don't even bother checking with any other services. They have ALWAYS been wonderful to work with. They are pleasant and easy to schedule with - I've done on the phone and online both and each way was simple and efficient. The price is fair and the crew is AMAZING. These guys work hard and are very professional. We had them unload our ABF Trailer of office furniture and boxes and artwork and 2 very large, EXTREMELY heavy fireproof file cabinets. We have always been happy with their work and we want to officially thank the most recent crew - Sean N, A.J., and Brandon C for doing such a great job - they were very kind, helpful, efficient, and personable. Nobody works harder than theses guys! Thank you! You have some very good people working for you. I have to tell the extra mile story of watching A.J. help a total stranger at our storage unit load 1 of 2 portable air conditioners into his truck (while he waited for the driver and I to finalize my paperwork). This was after a full day of hauling all our heavy stuff and he was technically "done." Impressive and shows the character of their crew. I called early Saturday morning and was able to be scheduled on Monday morning at 9:00am. I couldn't believe my luck. The guy who answered the phone was so nice, I wish I could remember his name. I do know he was a mover though. He said he would have scheduled himself on our move but he was already scheduled. On Monday morning we were busy trying to get ready. Our movers were Jared C and Jonathan Gioriaso. They were extremely polite, professional, wonderful guys. We couldn't of asked for better movers. They were well prepared and treated our furniture, walls and floors like gold (which means 5 stars). They worked as quickly and efficiently as anyone could ask. They not only disassembled our furniture, wrapped it to protect it, and carefully moved it, but then they unwrapped it, reassembled it, and immaculately cleaned up everything after. Moving is a difficult and stressful time, it was so nice to have 2 guys show up and make what should be one of the most stressful experiences stress free. A huge thank you to Ben B. and Kendrick for working so hard to move my best friend yesterday in the pouring rain!!! Ben and Kendrick worked ALL day without complaints, and only took a very short lunch break. They were both very professional, knowledgeable, and so courteous. The carpets had just been cleaned, and these young men did everything they could not to dirty the carpets while it was raining. They took the best care not to damage the walls, staircase, or any other surfaces. They work extremely well together discussing the most effective way to maneuver very heavy furniture up stairs. We really appreciated their input and suggestions for furniture placement position. Before Ben and Kendrick finished, they both went through the entire home to make sure they had not left any details undone and that we were satisfied. Reece and Christian showed up right on time and ready to go. They walked through the house with us room by room to access the job. They were extremely courteous and professional . We could tell right away this wasn't their first rodeo . After accessing the size of the house they recommended another truck and called it in immediately before beginning . Its a good thing because as soon as they completely filled their truck up another backup showed up just in time to keep the whole day moving along smoothly . The second crew was also very courteous and got right to work even though they had spent the first part of the day moving another customer . Reece and Christian communicated very well with us throughout the day and even at the very end of the day instead of wanting to just wrap it up they made sure that we were satisfied and checked to make sure everything was positioned where we wanted it and that we were satisfied . I very seldom write reviews of any kind but these fellas really left a big time impression on my wife and I . They turned what would normally be a very difficult day into a walk on the park. Are you moving to Lexington? Do you need the help of movers? Use this company. They are owned by (I believe) 2-3 MBA holding graduates of the University of Kentucky who decided to start a moving company. They didn't just start up a profit-making entity, but a successful business that takes care of their customers. es. It's been so successful that they have off-shoot companies in the surrounding states of Ohio and Indiana. All fees were explained over the phone, with an accurate estimate given for unload/load time. With regard to my move- Billy H and Tanner S. were the guys they sent out. Wow. They unloaded my 26 foot (two-thirds full) truck for my 3 bedroom-2 bath home in 47 minutes. That's right- 47 minutes. They did not so much as scratch any of my property. They were excellent. Through some rain, they kept my things dry. Professional, cordial, excellent. We paid a reasonable fee of $130/hr for 2hr minimum. Loading our truck took 2.7 hours with another company (it was on a 3rd story apartment-- unload was to a 2 story home). Excellent service. Love this company. We used Wildcat Movers for the 2nd time this year and they are fantastic. We moved from another state to a Rental home, then this week to a home we purchased. Clay and Mason were courteous, professional and just a joy to be around. They loaded all our belongings with care. You would never know that they were getting paid by the minute .....they hit the ground running and didn't stop till everything was right where we wanted it. Even if they had to move it 3 times. They were so helpful with their suggestions and knew exactly how best to load everything to get the most use out of the truck space. We moved from a 3 story rental to a 2 story home and they moved every piece of furniture as if it was their own. They even safely moved my great grandmothers antique 6 ft organ without getting a scratch on it. This company is great they know what they are doing and they are capable of moving the heaviest furniture up and down the tightest places.
