I get that some people don't understand the sentimental (and actual) value of antiques but this is how they packed a trailer (were hired to move furniture from our Wildcat storage facility to a Uhaul at our house for transport) for a 900 mile trip. Metal casters up against my grandparents 100 year old eastlake headboard. A cane chair sitting on top of a piece of metal. I had packing supplies available they did not use. Told them to stop halfway through as I was going to have to redo it all and they shrugged. Was my third time using them, never again. read more

I paid Wildcat Movers - which I prefer to call BIG BLUE SCAMMERS - to move my daughter's furniture for a two-bedroom apartment approximately three miles from where she was living. Before hiring Wildcat Movers, my daughter was given a quote ranging from $500 to $700. After the move was completed, they gave her a bill for $1,315, TWICE the original estimate. A representative from Wildcat movers explained that they gave her the quote without actually looking at the job. Seriously? At best, Wildcat Moving is INEPT for being unable to provide an accurate estimate to clients. At worst, Wildcat Moving is CORRUPT for intentionally lowballing their estimates in order to overcharge clients. In either case, I have never encountered a less honest and less reputable business as Wildcat Movers. I strongly urge anyone reading this review to avoid Wildcat Movers, or at the very least get quotes from other moving companies and require the price for the job and not merely an hourly rate if you don't want to be scammed. I would give them negative stars if I could. Two day move of my wood shop. Day one crew was awesome. Day two crew was horrible.spent over 4500.00 for two days. Moving and stacking my lumber didn't happen as requested. They actually just piled up the lumber in my garage and didn't stack it, more like a bonfire pile. Drew McGee (director of customer relations) only offered my 82.50 as a "courtesy refund" (his words) and basically blamed me for this. Well we moved in April. Thru took over 14 hrs to get us moved ! And it was $5000 to move us over to the next neighborhood They were very irresponsible broke things and rushed through the job. They had no superior directing them at all ! They didn't use their time management skills which I am sure they were trained to do. But we were very disappointed in our move. It too. Too long to move. So with that the boxes couldn't be placed where they belonged in the house so they had to just place it in the garage and leave it because we had to be out of our old place by midnight that night and that barely happened. They were at my place till 430am and still didn't put all our beds together. It was really a shit show. Very disappointed after using Wildcat Moving two prior times and they were awesome then. So something has to change. More training or more superiors on job site when moving or just something needs to be done to improve these problems. We lost many precious valuables that couldn't be replaced where they just stacked the breakable boxes on top of each other and just didn't care about the persons belongings at all. read more

We used Wildcat Moving after getting a few estimates around town. They were about more expensive than some of the others but based on some of the good reviews here we decided they were the safe choice. We moved most of our house ourselves but needed someone to get 5-6 larger items. The movers worked at a good pace however they did not use any type of padding for the furniture. This became apparent after they unloaded everything and we saw gouges, scratches, etc on multiple pieces. Wildcat sent a repair person out who was able to do a decent job of patching them. However the movers did not put the bed back together properly and left half of the bolts out of the frame. We did not find out until the bolts busted out of the bed frame. The repairman called me but said he couldn't fix the problem. I explained how I planned to try to fix it myself and he wanted to come "help me". He did come and we worked together to halfway fix the problem but now we have an expensive piece of furniture that is basically "duct taped" together. Maybe these problems are common of all movers but I can't recommend Wildcat unfortunately. read more

BEWARE: I purchased $175 "Damage Coverage" the day of the move. While they were loading the truck, they ran out of moving pads, and were told 3 times to stop the clock, and go get more. They didn't, so I went to Lowe's and got all they had, which wasn't enough. Therefore, they ONLY wrapped a Dining Room table and chairs, and wicker furniture in shrink wrap, leaving them damaged when they arrived. I took pictures, and sent to them to get compensated for the damage. The guys needed me to go n get the tools to dislodge my washer n dryer... then they left them at my old house, and hence, my washer/dryer couldn't even get connected properly because they had no tools 2. There was no sense of urgency in my movers. The job shouldn't have taken 4 hours to complete. I feel like I was milked for my money. Which is another thing, no one explained to me that Friday was extra in the hour. I asked to be booked in a Tuesday and was told Friday would be better but wasn't told about the price difference. Wildcat Mover's literally miss handled my television the internal is completely damage is the only TV I own I've been sitting in my brand new apartment with no TV. We emailed back-and-forth with customer service and they insured full satisfaction and that they would take care of me. Fast forward to four weeks later I get a check for $60. The TV itself was over $500 and brand new. I had just purchased it I was also watching the TV while the movers were moving. I witnessed the movers take a speed bump at 40 miles an hour which I no damage to the TV come to find out, The television wasn't even wrapped correctly. We were very excited to partner with Wildcat for the move into our first home. Unfortunately, it was a very unpleasant experience. The two guys took double the amount of time they quoted us at, which caused us to pay way more than budgeted. Because they were taking so long, my husband jumped in to help speed up the process (which defeats the purpose of hiring movers). On top of that, they cracked my dresser and scratched our hard wood floors. When they let us know they did these things one of our movers, was very rude and unapologetic. This caused for a weird tension in our home. You could His parter helping him that day was very uncomfortable for the way he handled everything. I couldn't wait to get them out of our house. When I told him no thank you because I had been quoted much better prices, he demanded to know the names of the other companies. When I said it didn't matter, he told me that he didn't believe me. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! - DON'T USE WHEN MOVING OUT OF STATE!!! EVERYTHING IS SUBCONTRACTED AND NO ONE IS TAKING RESPONSIBILITY My wife and I did a lot of research to find the right moving company. Given the good reviews and reference we chose Wildcat Moving. Their representative (Dustin) that came out and quoted us was professional, friendly and fast. We felt really good and confident! We used Lady Cats through Wildcat to pack our house and they did a reasonable job. The team loading the truck did a good job but with some major issues... Cords and remotes, hardware /screws/nuts/bolts from disassembled furniture was not secured with the furniture, neither placed in a single 'parts' box. We still cant find hardware to reassemble furniture. Thus far we have over 30 damaged or broken items... The major issue we faced was when we arrived in Ohio, the off loaders would not start working unless I paid them cash!!! I could not get hold of Wildcats for hours and had to commit to paying them cash. Some of the off loaders left and we had 2 disabled and one fit person left to off load a 53 ft trailer and 32 ft box truck. Being Labor Day weekend Wildcats could not arrange more help. The off loaders called in some of their friends to help but I was held ransom to pay a stiff price. I had to hire 3 additional co-workers to help for a few hours. My wife and I also had to jump in and off load boxes and furniture. Now after the over, the off loaders are harassing us... I understand things go wrong, but its how you treat your customer to make things right is what we remember. Everybody got their money... upfront... so getting any support or even a call back from Wildcats is nonexistent. VERY DISAPPOINTING. I don't like leaving poor reviews but since Wildcat Moving is not making things right, I have no choice but to post this review and warn others NOT TO USE THEM when moving out of state! read more

We have used Wildcat Moving several times over the years to move our children during their college years at UK and had pleasant experiences each time. We used them the week before Christmas to move 3 miles away. They sent 4 trucks & 8 men to move us out of our 7,000 sq ft home. These guys worked hard, but a move this large was a bit much for them. Unfortunately, they ended up not getting everything moved from the old house to the new, so we still have to hire someone to finish that up. (And we had them for around 12 hours.) Like I stated earlier, the men were all hard workers, but I have to say that Jonathan G was by far the hardest, fastest & seemed the most experienced & concerned about our items. The movers, Kenton & Matthew, were not efficient with their time and had completely exhausted themselves to the point that moving 2 bedroom suits 2.3 miles took 4 hours and 20 minutes...which I believe resulted in a careless move. 2. Said carelessness led to the discovery of several damages to my walls and ceiling post-move. I also discovered that a chest drawer had been completely busted. I called after begin recommended to them and felt comfortable with them from the onset of the game of 50 questions. The 3 man crew were very nice but two were inexperienced - college kids home for the summer. They didn't wrap things and a couch was torn on the arm with black marks. They were not supplied many moving blankets and wooden furniture was dinged and chipped all over the place. A metal bed frame was bent and unusable. They sent over a man they hire who said none of it was moving damage and he left without doing anything. This independent "fixer" was arrogant and rude, plus he showed up 30 minutes early and I had to jump off a work call. The customer care department only takes emails and responds Tuesdays thru Thursdays. Although they did respond to the emails, it's 21 days since they moved me and they are not going to do anything. I hired Wildcat Moving on two separate occasions - due to the rough situation I was in, I had to hire them to move all of my belongings into a storage unit, and then a month later move them to the new home. Moves were on 1/29 and 3/3 I believe. I'll keep this short. They broke multiple items, the movers didn't tell me about them, and customer support offered me only $30 to replace these items. When I complained they offered me another $30, but I only if I agreed to write an statement saying I wouldn't "disparage or defame them" anywhere online. I said no, and now you're reading this review. They broke my bed frame, a kitchen cabinet, a brand new Christmas tree bag, a plastic storage container, and a nightstand. I had to deal with 3 different moving crews, and all 3 crews made sure to guilt trip me into leaving them positive reviews. One crew even informed me that if they don't get enough good reviews, they actually LOSE pay. Seriously?! I would never recommend Wildcat Moving. I sincerely regret choosing them and was suckered by the good reviews. Of COURSE there are good reviews - their crews beg you to leave them and put you on the spot! And if it's not the crews guilting you into leaving good reviews, the customer support people are guilting you into not leaving a negative review because "they're just a small, local company". All in all I paid over $2,200 and will have to shell out several hundred more to replace the furniture they ruined. And that's to say nothing of the gouged walls, doors, and handrail leading downstairs. Also, watch out; they don't even use dollies. If you've got a lot of boxes, even medium sized ones, one guy is going to carry them out one by one, by himself. It'll take forever. But if you use big boxes, they're gonna stack so much stuff on them that the boxes cave in. And Wildcat Moving will tell you real fast that they aren't responsible for broken stuff in boxes. read more

We hired Wildcat movers to move some large pieces of furniture from one house to another. The distance between the two houses is less than a mile. I described the pieces on the phone and was told it would be considered a small job 2-4 hours. But would be closer to 2 (maybe under.) i asked if I should hire a third mover and they said two would be fine. I also was told to leave clothing in drawers and it would be moved as a unit. If it was too heavy, the drawers would be removed and put back in at the other location. The morning of the move, two very nice college students arrived. They were clean cut and very polite. After seeing what needed to be moved, they agreed that they it was barely a two hour job and they would be happy to move other things as well since you pay for a minimum of two hours. Due to the fact that this would be a fast move, we asked if the movers would mind adding a few minutes on, That we would pay for, to help a neighbor who found himself in an unfortunate situation. They said it would be no problem. We all helped the neighbor for approximately 15 minutes. Even if you remove 30 minutes for that assistance, the job still took twice the time with nothing assembled on the other side. Everything was removed from the drawers and put on the floor with no communication. (This is something I could have done instead of paying some $120 an hour to do it and boxed it.) There was no communication about things taking longer than expected or difficulty moving items. A head board was scratched, a peg to a bunk bed was broken that holds the upper safety rails on and we have found brackets in our driveway that are needed to assemble the furniture. Eventually, my husband told them just to leave the furniture and we would do it since it took them from 1:30-3:30 to just unload the truck at the new house. The time the estimated the entire job would take. When I called this morning and asked to speak to a manager, I was told I could only speak to the scheduling manager. Seemingly, there was no good time to call the site manager because he is busy helping customers. Interesting. That's what I thought I was. I can email him though.
