I was on the hunt for a specific mezcal I couldn't find anywhere else in Denver, and the two brothers who are always working here were awesome -- they went out of their way to track it down through their distributor network and were genuinely happy to help. That kind of customer service is rare these days, and it really stands out. The shop itself has also come a long way. It's clean, bright, and noticeably more organized than it used to be -- you can tell real investments are being made in the space and the overall experience. The selection is strong (especially if you're into mezcal/tequila), and I've even seen them walk purchases out and help customers load up their cars. I go here often, but I'll probably start using delivery sometimes too -- I'm always seeing their clean van out front getting loaded with orders, which is a good sign they're on it. That said, the store is honestly becoming a pretty cool stop on its own. The vibes are good, everyone's friendly, and if it gets much nicer I'm half convinced I'm just going to start showing up to "grab one thing" and end up hanging out for a bit. Believe the bad reviews and DO NOT get delivery. Says only 15 minutes but will make you wait over an hour with no updates and even if you call the store they will just say it's coming. I only live 10 minutes away from this location but they were "heading this way" for over 45 minutes. When I called to cancel, they told me I couldn't and hung up on me. Decent selection for a small local shop and all of the staff members I have had dealings with have been friendly and courteous. It appears to be family owned and operated and the employees all have a vested interest in the business. read more

They might not have the cheapest prices as one of the mega liquor stores, but they have a decent selection and good prices - especially for a small village center store. They must be under new ownership/management, as I have noticed a positive difference in the past year or so. read more

This is a very friendly store indeed. The owners will go above and beyond to be helpful. My issue is with the young men behind the counter in the evenings. Every time I go there in the evening, especially weekends, there is a group of under age boys in the parking lot, taking turns to go buy cheap beer and liquor with their fake ID's. I know. I am a high school teacher in Highlands Ranch. The ID's are good but fake. The kids all use the same "MO." Park at the end of the parking lot, go in one at a time, pay in cash, don't make eye contact. I have told the the employee right in front of the customer "this person is not old enough to buy alcohol and his ID is fake, please ask for a second ID. ". I typically get no response from the employee. I have contacted the DC sheriff's office but they are not interested. If I know the student, I call their parents. I am hoping the owner will use this to better train his employees. I have been to too many funerals. Parents, please check your kid's wallet. read more

Friendly, knowledgeable staff. They even carry Estrella Damm Daura Gluten Free Beer. The only GF beer that actually tastes like real beer because the gluten is removed after the regular brewing process! I very happy to find such a great beer and wine selection in a neighborhood store! read more

When I asked the guy behind the counter if they had this, he just stared at me rudely, like I was nuts for even asking, and kept shaking his head.
