Staff seems to have HeadUpAss syndrome. Arrived and haphazard older girl attending pickup said "I can't login" let me call someone. The someone guy showed up to help and commented it can take 1.5 hours to login to the app so we can help you. Than said "usually one second" and we can help you. He is confused or stoned. The selection is absolutely enormous!!! One of the best things about Total Wine is that the associates are generally very knowledgeable about spirits. I wanted a bottle of absinthe, and was going to get a bottle of Pernod. The man who had walked me to the section recommended Mephisto instead. He said it was amazing, and very close to the original. I said, "So, notes of wormwood?" He laughed and said it was herbaceous. And asked if I did the water-and-sugar-cube. But of course! The Mephisto was also cheaper than the Pernod, by maybe $20 or so. Nice! Their bitters are slightly (50 cents) more expensive than WineSeller, but they have a bigger selection. Their prices are generally very good, and comparable to other nearby stores. I do miss Lucas Liquors. And WineSeller has a great frequent buyer program. Total Wine uses your phone number, but so far I haven't gotten any discounts. I got $25 off at WineSeller because I had points. (I'm stocking up because of that looney and his moronic tariffs.) The cider selection is also phenomenal! I don't drink beer or soda. Cider is the perfect alternative when I want something light and refreshing. Stem ciders are a favorite! All in all, a great addition to the neighborhood! In the Greater Park Meadows Mall area, there are 3 large vendors that will do their best to separate you from your money to purchase alcohol. 1. Costco in Lone Tree. 2. Davidsons Liquors on County Line and Holly. 3. Total Wine & More. Davidsons and Total must send their employees 1x a month to Costco to ensure they are price competitive. Seriously, at least for the spirits carried by the Lone Tree Costco, the prices at all 3 places are within 1% of each other. In terms of my spirits (bourbon, whiskey/whisky, cognac).... Total has a better selection of bourbon and cognac, Davidsons is better for Scotch and Irish Whiskey. My main complaint with Total is their free tastings (not to be confused with their classes). It's AWESOME that they have free tastings Thursday-Saturday. But their tastings marketing is...nonexistent. Sometimes there are independent vendors, sometimes there aren't. The 'corporate' tasting seems to rotate their wines monthly if not sooner. But the corporate spirits? Maybe 1x a quarter. Disappointing and IMHO, huge missed opportunity. They do have a decent selection of Colorado spirits. But to earn 5 stars, they could be a bit better. read more

Probably the best Total wine and More I have been to....and let's say I have been to my good share of them. First of all they have amazing service. Every single associate I worked with was friendly and knowledgeable ( I did not know CO gets a high allocation of Buffalo Trace due to the large consumption of Fireball...same company Sazerac). Found O'dell IPA in glass ( they are phasing out to cans....blasphemy I says) And whilst perusing the Bourbon aisle I found a last bottle of Knob creek single barrel store pick...just awesome. This location has EVERYTHING....great beer selection, anything a wine snob could want ( Great French, Italian, Spanish, Californian....etc). The liquor selection is pretty fantastic too... massive walls of everything under the sun. This location is so great I might have to drive all the way back down to Centennial to visit again. Codigo 1530 anejo at total wine is $194.00. Bevy's in Parker is $109.00 every day and currently has is on sale for $99.00. I have shared with the manager on several occasions they are way out of line on pricing. Because of this I have stopped shopping this location. It don't applies to all locations, in Arizona and Texas they have great pricing. Additionally, I have first hand knowledge the managers don't treat there employees very well. Went in with my 50 year old brother, my 80 year old mother and my 20 year old daughter. Cashier woman asked us all for ID and refused to sell us beer because my daughter was not 21. Their ID policy was cited, and I expect this to appear in a canned response to this posting. We were told that my daughter was not allowed to enter the store being under 21 (we were told that despite being with two fifty something's and her grandma). They are a not allowed to sell to our "group" because she was not of age. But we could come back tomorrow without her. Um, okay. Look... If you don't mind being told house brands are the same things as name brands, and you don't mind salespeople who have questionable knowledge, then Total Wine might be the place for you. Sure, their prices are lower than nearly everywhere else, but that comes at a cost. No matter where I am in the country, I can walk into Total Wine and have some salesperson tell me how Two Stars Bourbon is "the same thing as" Buffalo Trace Bourbon when I didn't want their opinion. It happens every single time. I will point out that I am a whiskey reviewer, that what they told me is absolutely untrue, and it is like Christmas to them. They want to tell me about how superior Spirits Direct whiskeys are. I have heard salespeople tell customers how certain whiskeys are allocated in an attempt to get them to buy what's on the shelf. Again, not true. So, why do I shop at TW? Because they have an impressive selection of 50ml "airplane" bottles, which are great for me to get and then review. I normally used to shop BevMo in California but there aren't any of those here in Colorado. Parking lot was busy as it is located in a shopping center that has lots of shops and is across from a mall. As with most parking lots , parking can be easier if not parking right up front. At the front entrance there are face masks , sanitizer wipes , and hand wipes. They have people monitoring how many people are coming into the store but the store is so large it's very easy to shop and stay safely distanced. It was a weekend and the store had lots of vendors in , sampling products and giving free merchandise away , that was fun! White Claw was there and had asked me to pose for some promo photos , gave me loads of free merch. Sunglasses, a Rain water bottle , cold beverage cup, chapstick , a special coosie designed to hold White Claw cans, keychain bottle opener and more. I hit the swag jackpot. And of course free White Claw seltzers. Got watermelon and mango cans. I happened to be wearing a casual chic white and black outfit, I see what you did there White Claw! My kitchen now looks like it's sponsored by White Claw hard seltzer LOL! I came to check out if they sold Broken skull IPA by El Segundo brewing company , however they didn't carry any. It seems El Segundo brewing company has lost their distributor and I'm out Stone Cold Steve Austin's Broken Skull beer out here in Colorado (sad face). I was also eager to try Jensen Ackles "Family Business" IPA out of Texas but they don't have anything out of Texas here at this Total Wine. I went with my usual Irish whiskey by Conor McGregor: Proper 12. I enjoy it very much. I already have plenty of bottles of Blantons however I still try to see if any places carry it , it's nice to collect those bottles. And I was gifted some money to buy a bottle of wine to make some sangria so I went with some Stella Rose Black for that. I love walking up and down the isles looking all the new cocktails I can make , they have everything you can think of for your bar. I almost bought another bottle of Ace of Spades , however I'm waiting until Thanksgiving or Christmas for that. I'll definitely be back , everybody who works here was very nice. read more

Total Wine's been our favorite liquor store since we lived in Lynnwood, WA. They won us over with the staff's expertise and knowledge of the products. Up there, there was a little older guy named Mike. We sought him out each time we went into the store. He had such great recommendations. We didn't talk to anyone else in the store. He was OUR GUY! In 2018 we moved to Castle Rock and surprisingly, Total Wine was one of the Washington places we missed. When they opened the Denver store we drove all the way up there for the experience of opening day. That was a bit far to drive so, imagine our delight when one opened in Centennial! It's not Castle Rock but it's close enough. The staff here, just like at the others, are pretty well versed on the selections. They're never pushy or trying to force you into a purchase that isn't right for you. This last trip, I was looking for a new Scotch. I had a $200 bottle in my hand. The salesperson, while pointing at Scotches said something like, "If you didn't like that one but you liked that one, you should not buy that bottle you've got in your hand. You'd be better off with this." Left the store with a $70 bottle of Scotch which is actually pretty amazing. Now all we need is for Mike to transfer down here(if he still works for you guys) and the world will be perfect. read more

After making snide, passive aggressive comments about what I was purchasing, she then proceeds to just ignore me for the remainder of the transaction and talk on her radio, like not even responding to anything, literally bringing up questions to ask the other staff. This total wine is HUGE! Total wine is usually my go to for beer shopping but this location is significantly larger than most that I have been to. I really appreciate the large selection of the singles because I wanted to make my own 6 pack. The singles section is diviede by beer type making it easy to track down your favorite types of beers to try in your 6 pack. I did see a package of Churro Stout that I wanted to try but could not find a single of. I asked an employee and he helped me look and when we could not find it he told me to just take one out of the package to add to my 6 pack. I would just like to recognize two of your employees. I was in there last night, picking up-some wine. The wine I wanted was on the very bottom shelf in the way back.
